We had a wonderful experience and would rent again without hesitation. Great communication and the property is even better than as described. It is very well equipped both inside the cottage and the bunkie, and outdoors. We particularly liked using the barge and the kayaks, and the ducks that swam up to us every few hours. It was a very peaceful experience with beautiful views and was made even more special with great interaction with the hosts. Thank you so much Alayna and family.

This was our second time staying here while visiting family in Gatineau. It is a very quiet, clean and comfortable space with easy access to Ottawa and the highway. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others.

Had an amazing weekend getaway to the Trackers Cabin overlooking Golden Lake. Beautiful little rustic spot and very peaceful, we loved it! Zac and Steph were friendly and welcoming hosts, and were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would love to return for a visit in the summer months!

Always a great place to get away for a quiet stay. Plenty of privacy and space on the property that makes you feel welcome. Rebecca is an incredible host and has been consistent with such great hospitality. Bring a book and sit at the beach and watch the ducks and loons swim by. There's a good 50 feet of sandbar at the water before the lake gets really deep.

This property has it all! Wonderful layout (the main cottage is separated from the sleeping areas, so people who wish to stay up late and enjoy libations and games - can and will not disturb others) A beautiful indoor/outdoor space with a fireplace and an incredible view. All the bedrooms overlook the lake, and the sunrise is truly breathtaking. The cottage also has easy-to-use wireless speakers, all the kitchen tools and supplies are top notch. And the dining & lounge spaces make this cottage feel like a mansion. I cannot wait to stay again, what a truly wonderful experience. 5 stars for sure!

A friend and I stayed for two nights for a quiet girls' getaway. The spot was the perfect choice for lounging in the comfy furniture in front of the fire while watching the birds flit through the trees outside. We even had two deer walk by on our first night! The unit was really well laid out and had every supply you could need without being cluttered. I would stay here again and recommend to others.

My husband and I had a lovely week-long stay at the Secluded Nature Chalet over Christmas! Lisa's and Ian's attention to detail was evident from the start, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card and welcome gifts awaiting us upon arrival. The house is cozy yet modern, with an impressively well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom felt luxurious, featuring a rain shower and a large bathtub—especially with the small bath amenities thoughtfully provided by our hosts. The property offers a perfect blend of forested tranquillity and access to Bark Lake. We loved the beautiful view from the house and the daily visits from squirrels on the terrace. The snowshoes and hiking poles the host lent us made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive and quick to resolve a minor heating issue. Her attentiveness ensured a smooth and pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was such a peaceful few days away from the hustle and bustle of the city. An added bonus was bringing our two golden retrievers. They loved the wildlife and taking in all the scenery on the beautiful deck! It was so nice to see our kids exploring outside and staying off their screens for a few days!

This place was so cozy for two and so private. Defianately an amazing place for quiet get away , romantic get away. Hot tub and massaging shower, large deck!! We even forgot our coffee and there was some there , a few snacks , few spices for cooming , washer , all that you might need . Binder to let you know things. Heat was a little hard to figure our to turn down but i just messaged and they got back a while later and said thry would take care of it . But of an early check out for this time of year but you hardly get 24 hrs anywhere anymore and we were a couple hours from home so worked after all for us and found breaky along the route back . All so worth it as the point was a romantkc weekend away!!

It was my second time going to this beautiful air bnb. From the scenery to the well made cottage, I have no complaints for this location. In my humble opinion this air bnb has everything you would ever want from a getaway in nature. Highly recommend and I wish you a wonderful stay.

We had the loveliest time on our trip to Casita Bonnechere! Sophia was an incredibly attentive host, helping us feel right at home, and the cabin itself is clean and bright with so many sweet little attentive details. The wood stove is really cozy and comfy and the outhouse is possibly the loveliest-smelling bathroom I have ever used in my life! The river is incredibly peaceful and the space is set up beautifully, with the simplicity we were hoping for in a trip outside the city. We were really able to relax and unwind during our stay and it felt like a true retreat. Will absolutely be returning for a visit and would recommend without hesitation!

Surrounded by nature - the trees and stars added to the perfect weekend reprieve we were looking for, and received. Hot tub, wood burning stove... couldn't have asked for anything more. Tasha and Shane were such thoughtful and responsive hosts, giving us a plethora of helpful info in regards to all the sights and activities nearby. very nice place to unwind and relax! stayed for 3 days and felt so rested. the place was equipped with everything you needed and the vibe and the view outside was very peaceful. worth the 5hrs drive! will definitely come back and try their other units!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay with Michelle and Malcolm! From the moment I arrived, Michelle’s warm and welcoming energy made me feel right at home. She is incredibly friendly, and our conversations flowed so naturally that she felt like a friend instantly. Her home has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere it truly felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel comfortable, appreciated, and surrounded by positive energy, this is it. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely return!

The place was beautiful & we absolutely loved it there. however, my only issue is if we have to clean the whole place ourselves at the time of check out then why are we paying the cleaning fee? It is very inconvenient when you are in hurry. Other than that the cabin was beautiful & we have an amazing time there.

Our stay at the Northwoods Cottage was simply perfect. Rachel and Tim were so generous, ensuring the trail to their fire pit was shovelled and gravelled so we could enjoy it with our guests. They clearly showed care in ensuring we had a great time, and all our needs would be met. The cottage its self is immaculate. The beds are comfortable, the view is amazing, the modern feel with touches of french farmhouse would make anyone feel cozy! They also had amazing recommendations for our nearby needs. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future. I can't say enough good things about Rachel, Tim and our stay. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a beautiful, serene time!

We absolutely love this place! If we could stay forever we would! Both Taylor and Pierre are beyond responsive and ready to help out with any request we may have had. We will continue to make this our summer trip destination for years to come! Thank you guys!
