The condo is in a great spot with some nice amenities. The tennis courts were empty, so it was easy to play if you wanted, and while I didn’t swim since it wasn’t the season, the pool looked like it would be nice in warmer weather. The location is perfect—close to Bay Drive with the wide sound-side walking path and an easy walk to the monument. There are three flights of stairs to get to the unit (this was mentioned in the listing, so I knew ahead of time). I didn’t mind at all, and the upside is no one above you and amazing views from the porch. The condo is simple but had everything I needed, and I was very comfortable. It’s also absolutely spotless—they clearly put a lot of effort into keeping it clean, which was so reassuring. Easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Thanks so much for hosting!

Happy Ours was the perfect spot we needed. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the place. it was in a great area for what we wanted to do and see, as it was our first time in this area. place was very clean and just the right amount of amenities needed.

The Vintage Mermaid was delightful! Super clean, comfortable, all the amenities we needed and best of all only feet from the beach, which was not crowded! Avon is a cute little location with a handful of restaurants, fresh fish markets and delicious ice cream at Cups and Cones. Highly recommend!

John & Shelly are wonderful hosts & have created a charming & tastefully appointed "home away from home." They have provided quality amenities that show they really are concerned for the comfort of their guests. Peace & quiet is created by the cozy comfort it exudes & the beauty of the natural setting it is located in. We truly enjoyed our stay. We also truly enjoyed meeting & talking with John & Shelly!

We had a great time. Very nice place. Much better than a hotel. The host was extremely helpful. This was the first Airbnb for us and we would do this again. We enjoyed the area and it helped to have a tremendous place to stay.

I stayed for 2 nights and felt so at home! The bedroom was so similar to my room so it was hard not to. This is the perfect space for 1-2 people for a short term stay as there is no kitchen. However there is a coffee station, microwave, and fridge accommodated with some paper plates and plastic utensils. Everything was perfectly clean, dusted, organized, etc. the neighborhood is also very safe and quiet as well. It is the bottom unit on a beautiful street surrounded by other residential housing. I would stay here again when coming back to Kill Devi Hills!

This was the second time I stayed here. It was great just like the first time. This time around I brought my Mom along from Germany. It was again a most lovely place and we felt very comfortable and had a great time on the outer banks. Noreen's place was a perfect starting point for that! I would love to come again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Katie’s. We had everything we needed away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked plus there’s also a grill. The place was spotless and we felt very comfortable with our stay. It was easy to relax in a place like this and just get away for a bit. Katie is also very responsive and the communication was great. We wouldn’t mind staying here again.

We really liked this location and comfortable new condo super close to the beach and in view of the Currituck light house. Also walkable to shops and restaurants, super close to 4x4 beach and dog friendly.

My husband and I decided to pick a random place to adventure for our honeymoon. Prior to check in, there was a snowstorm and we had to move our wedding date a day later. Mike and Chelsea were more than accommodating and responsive. They went above and beyond to communicate and be concerned for our well-being and safety during our trip. When we arrived, the home was emaculate! It was so peaceful. I just wanted to find a new place to sit, relax and just pray and worship to God. It was the perfect blend of modern and homey. We felt so at home and peaceful we honestly didn't want to leave. We have found a permanent repetitive place for vacation and escape and cant wait to take our kids next time!

The horses stopped by several times a day. It was magical. Just a short drive to the ocean where we conveniently parked our car on the beach. We had plenty of room on the beach. People were not on top of each other. It was a wonderful vacation! The house was spacious and nicely decorated. the kitchen was well stocked.

It is a comfortable house, it is located in a very convenient place, the house has everything you need to have a good stay. The communication with the host is good. Thank you so much!

Great place to stay. Felt welcoming and right at home. This Airbnb had everything we needed during our stay. We liked the location very much as we had restaurants and grocery stores near by. We enjoyed the recommendations and discounts provided.

I really enjoyed my stay at Monika's place. I enjoyed many walks both in the Nags Head Woods Preserve and the expansive neighborhood as well. It wasn't beach season while I stayed, but you could easily walk or bike to the beach, bars, and restaurants in the area. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The home is beautiful and looks just like the photos. Monika was very easy to talk to, and a wonderful host. I would easily stay here again. 5/5

The place was beautiful and in a very optimal location - quick drive/walk to the beach and very accessible area. Nora was incredible and very helpful the entire time - we had a great time and really would love to come back!

Absolutely charming. Everything we could have asked for. It was amazing to see water views where both sunrise and sunset were visible without going anywhere. The house was pristine! Everything was neat and clean. It was well stocked and comfortable.

My wife and I went for a quick spring break trip. It was our first time in the OBX. The condo is great, plenty of space, felt like home. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking supplies, dishes, plates, cups, pots and pans. Having linens supplied was a nice touch. Couch and chairs are super comfortable, deck area is very spacious. Would definitely recommend this spot and stay there again. Close to Publix grocery store and a short walk to the beach. Can also walk to a great restaurant and local brewery.

The calm waves is super cozy and has everything a family with young kids needs (including some toys and baby proofing). It is in a great location that feels very family friendly and short walk to the beach and restaurants. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again!

Wonderful get away! The absolute perfect location, amazing sunrises everyday, visited by the occasional dolphin, had the beach all to ourselves. This place was spotless and so comfortable, all for a great price. Absolutely loved it!

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend and this was the perfect place to do that! Quiet, quaint area with plenty to do even in the off season. The cabana we stayed in was so cute and was perfect for the 2 of us. We will definitely be coming back to Ocracoke and staying here again!

Adorable beach stay in a super-clean and cute 2BR, 2BA w/ amenities. Handicap accessible, outdoor shower, and a short walk to the beach in a private location at the north end of the Outer Banks, this place welcomed my wife and I from the second we walked in because it was charming, clean, comfortable, and accommodated our two girls (Yellow Labrador and Golden Retriever). Nestled in the Corolla/Corova location, it is surrounded by beaches, wild horses, 4WD beach driving, museums, lighthouse, restaurants, shopping, and a throwback view of what it was like in the 1920s at the Whalehead Club. Quaint schools and churches speckle the inshore line. I'd return in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our time and the place was very clean, had everything we needed, host always texted back quickly after I sent message. It was a great experience. Thank you. If we go to that area again we will come back.

Beautiful little condo for a long weekend - I was in town for business. This condo community is very quiet in the off season - we hardly saw any other people around. Many stores and shops not open, which we fully expected for the time of year. Good communication from host. The view from the deck and living room is amazing! Thanks for having us!

What a great location! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the rental, the pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely rent this property again in the future.
