What a lovely spot! The cottage is quiet and peaceful and has everything we needed for a weekend stay. The beds were very comfy and there was plenty of extra bedding available when the weather turned rather cold. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped and has a wonderful view of the garden. Great shower, too! Maya was the perfect host - we felt right at home from the start and would love to visit again some time.

Grandiose Lage direkt an der Lagune, wunderbar für Naturliebhaber! Das Meer ist so nah, dass man es gut hören und genießen kann und die Dünen und der Strand sind unbeschreiblich schön und menschenleer. Alles strahlt eine unglaubliche Ruhe aus und das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt! Ganz besonders geliebt haben wir die wilden Pferde 🙏 Anke war eine wunderbare, sehr herzliche und immer erreichbare Gastgeberin-vielen Dank, dass wir in eurem Haus wohnen durften!

What can I say except we had an incredible weekend! The place is nestled in a haven of tranquility and though it's a tiny home, it is extremely comfortable with all the amenities you didn't even realise you needed the washing machine in the bathroom with a toddler was a total lifesaver and the amazing views and beautiful encounters with the local wild horses were incredible. The hosts were super helpful and went out of their way to accomadate us. We cannot wait to return again. I was able to lounge at the beautiful clean pool while hubby and some incredible fishing time at the breathtaking estuary all within walking distance of the chalet.

We had a lovely and peaceful family breakaway. The tents have all you need to make your stay comfy while still giving a camping feel.

This was one of our best experiences of Airbnb accommodation. The cottage was spacious and well equipped with a nice outside area. We appreciated the little touches such as providing tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, washing powder etc. A 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Hermanus and well located for visiting the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

WOW, WOW, WOW 🤩 this place is an absolute sanctuary! It feels like you are the only two people in the world. It is just rustic enough but has everything you need. The pool area is amazing - we took an umbrella and thick towels, and spent the entire day there, and then spent two hours watching frogs at the new dam. The nature was amazing - beautiful birds and so many little tortoises. You’d think there’d be more bugs and mozzies but we weren’t bothered at all. Liz is extremely helpful when you need her, but does not bother you at all. The only note is that the hike to the Kloof seems easy at first, but we’d recommend proper hiking shoes and longer clothing as there were a lot of intense looking spiders 🙃 we ended up doing it from the other side in, with a big stick to clear the webs. I couldn’t recommend this place more and I’d love to go back to visit again! Thanks Liz (please do update us about Herbet the 🐢).

This is a beautiful apartment. We had use of the whole first floor which included 2 double bedrooms ( there were only 2 of us ) and a kitchen, bathroom, and the outside private balcony with 2 seating areas, with views across to Hemanus. We could hear the sea all night which was lovely. It was beautifully decorated and spacious and clean. The host Katrin was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

If you want to just sit on the veranda and enjoy the view and the sound of the waves - this is the place to go. Really loved the feeling of being so close to the raw nature of SA. Thanks for all the infos and notes about Betty’s bay, Pam!

What a beautiful place. We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you Dre for sharing such a wonderful place! The surroundings are breathtaking and the cottage is quaint, clean and well equipped with everything you could need for a weekend stay over. We loved the outside area and had 2 lovely braais in the evening. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

Ankommen und sich wie Zuhause fühlen. Danke Annie für die schönen Tage in deinem Garden Cottage. Annie hat uns bei der Ankunft persönlich sehr freundlich und liebevoll empfangen, alles gezeigt, erklärt und Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen gegeben. Der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit Milch, Wasser und einem Teller frischem Obst. Die gesamte Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber und mit vielen kleinen liebevollen Details. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und absolut sicher. Bis zum Cliff Path ist es nur eine kurze Entfernung zu Fuß. Wir können das Cottage sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Well worth it if you want to relax and unwind in the middle of nature. Touches of luxury with elements of glamping like the private outside shower and outside kitchen. it was the perfect weekend and we will definitely be back!

What an incredible weekend! A little peace of heaven on earth. The host was even so kind to “upgrade” the booking to a bigger unit and closer to the dam. Clean, neat and welcoming!

We had a lovely 4 night stay. We enjoyed the rural setting and listening to the birds in the shady tree. The accomodation was comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. It is only 7 km from Sandbaai and retail stores but you feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle. The wifi was welcome and we didn't miss a tv at all. If you like visiting vineyards you will be spoiled for choice. The farm store nearby has supplies if you do run out of things. The Bobotie and homemade ginger beer were delicious. Annica was great to deal with and very accommodating with our late check in. I would love to return to Kleine Vrede Farm Cottage.

Our stay at Cheverells was incredible! We took our dog with and she had a wonderful time. The cottage has a rosebush fence around it but your dog will need to know recall as its a working farm, but very dog-friendly. The bed and bedding is super comfy and luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped and we had rusks, milk and water on arrival (so sweet!). We walked on the farm every day and felt so welcomed by Cath.

Maya was a fantastic host! Super helpful, warm & welcoming. The accommodation was exactly when we expected.
