Staying at Mara's house was exactly what we needed to welcome in 2025. The house itself is immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and has incredible lakefront views to tie it all together. Getting around the Cayuga Lake area was so easy from where the house is located and there are even some incredible wineries and breweries minutes away. The layout and setup of the house was very thoughtfully done and everything we needed (and more) was there. 10/10 excellent stay.

Loved the place! The sunset view by the lake with a fire will remain in my heart. Russell was very kind with several sweet gifts. He is a great host!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

Fantastic place right on the lake! Having the canoe to use was a huge bonus, we ended up going out 4-5 times over a couple of days which we never would have done had we needed to rent one. Would absolutely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay in this place! It is clean, comfortable and cozy like home. The lake view is amazing! Every morning, I enjoyed my coffee on the deck. The foliage color changed every day. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We also got a few deer visited us!! Our dogs enjoyed the big yard too. The host lives next door. Bonnie communicated very well and was very kind. If we visit this area again, we would like to stay here!

Elain's lake house is a special place! we had a wonderful vacation with little kids. This house has everything you might need, i appreciated all the toys, the extra pillows, blankets, towels, all the kitchen supplies (we cooked a lot), the grill is wonderful. The highlight was definitely the kayaks- my family enjoyed it very much, and there were vests for every size. Having the morning coffee on the porch with the lake view was so relaxing! there was a dollar store 2 miles away for basic things, and a great grocery store 15 min away in Hammonsport where we found everything we needed, and prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this rental if you are looking for a relaxing vacation in the finger lakes area (20 min to watkins Glenn), many wineries aroung, Corning museum of glass 30 min away, and more

We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

Kates home was wonderful! Very peaceful and a beautiful view. Location had everything one could need and more, me and my crew would stay anytime and recommend it to anyone looking around the area! Nothing but great things to say.

The view is what it is all about. This is right on Lake Ontario from the living room. You can see straight out over the lake if your goal is seclusion and relaxation. This is the place to go. The host was very proactive supplying a variety of information the house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals. The hot tub house is incredible and one of the best features of our weekend, even though it is a shared space we never had an issue with wanting to use it when it was not available. I went with myself and two girlfriends our goal was not to go out and about and explore so I don’t have much to say about that. Our goal was relaxation and friendship which was great at this AirBNB. 😁

The place is much nicer than it looks in the photos. Well equipped and extremely clean. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

Had a lovely girls trip here, beautiful location and a super cozy cabin to spend a relaxing weekend in!

Comfy & cozy for 2 couples, spacious bathrooms with nice towels, bedrooms also had an extra twin bed in each, kitchen had what we needed - coffee pot and wine glasses, and a great view of the lake. Lots of outside amenities, just too chilly to take advantage of them. Michelle was ultra-responsive too.

Our stay at Kara’s was wonderful. We rented the house and the bungalow, both of which very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The pictures are exactly what you will get. Well decorated, comfortable furniture, and washer/dryer in both units. We spent lots of time in the water, and having kayaks provided was a bonus! The porches were great for meal times together and playing games. The beachfront was awesome for getting in and out of the lake, especially with the kayaks. Location was super. Just over a mile into town, so close to grocery store, etc.. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again. Kara was super responsive!

What a wonderful getaway! The lake cabin, fire pit and lake views were perfect and exactly what we needed. It was quiet this time of year and the view of the falls leaves on the mountain were stunning! The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Communication was a breeze and the hosts lovely! We were so glad for this gem of a place and owners.

The cottage is small but has everything needed for a great getaway. It was close to wineries and breweries. We had an awesome stay during an off season time and I'm sure it's even more enjoyable during warmer months to take advantage of the outdoor space. It really feels like the hosts are sharing a well loved home!

Nancy’s cottage was perfect for our little family of 4. We enjoyed card games on the back porch, meals al fresco w a beautiful lake view, and of course roasting marshmallows in the fire pit at sunset. The cottage was intimate and cozy and we hope to return on a regular basis. Thank you Nancy for being inviting and more than accommodating.

An absolutely incredible stay! I will say, the pictures were gorgeous but boy was it even better when we got there. It exceeded expectations. Sarah was so responsive and helpful. Stayed at Todd’s during the winter to go snowmobiling with my father down the road. Very convenient. Place was cozy and warm. Todd was proactive in messaging us that if we needed anything that he would bring it over, but it wasn’t necessary. I’d stay there again next winter.

Great Stay Great Cabin! Everything was clean we felt comfortable there. The hot tub was great after the 2.4 mile walk at Watkins glen. It was too cold for us to kayak but it was nice sitting by the water and chilling. Loved the sound of the water at night.

This is our 4th time staying at Sherry’s cabin. It sits on 200 acres with trails a pond a pavilion and fire pit. We wanted some quiet quality time with our dog Petal who just got a grim diagnosis. She LOVES this place and she was lit up with joy exploring the grounds. Our stay at the cabin was salve for our soul. Sherry was so kind and such a wonderful host.

This place is beautiful looks even nicer in person than on the pictures . It’s very peaceful and fairly easy to find they left little notes around the house to find extra linens toilet paper etc which was a very cute touch . has a lot of stuff to do outside and inside it is the perfect little get together cabin the host is very nice helpful and attentive with any questions you may have through the stay definitely recommend

the cabin was clean and comfortable. James was responsive to our needs and let us bring our two dogs so we could feel at home.
