Pioneer Log Cabin on the Lake

My family really enjoyed staying at the Pioneer Cabin. Jenny was very easy to communicate with and the location was beautiful and secluded. Deck was awesome for eating or having coffee outdoors and enjoying the fall leaves.

Fancy Tent Glamping, Firepit, Power, Carpet

We rented the glamping tent and camper. Both were very clean, comfortable and cosy. Really nice outdoor fire pits for both spots and the communal outdoor kitchen/ patio is awesome as well. The outdoor shower looked great but we didn’t have a chance to experience it. We were there for the solar eclipse and it was a year to experience it in the adjacent field with Johnnie and the other guests. Johnnie was gracious and welcome to all and her dogs and gardens are an added bonus. We hope to return for a longer stay next time

Hilly Hideaway 7mi to Stadium Cozy, Rural Location

This was a cozy place, Kimberly was very helpful and responsive to my questions. Flexible with check in. I found the mattress super comfortable and the pet friendly was perfect for us. It was a duplex but we felt like we had our privacy the whole time. Safe area. The hosts even shoveled the driveway for us when it snowed. Very kind. The location is a bit out of town but we knew this going into it but definitley not walking distance to any activities. Overall great experience that fit our needs perfectly. Thanks to the hosts or whoever cleared the snow for us!

Cascade Cabin

Cute, clean, and comfortable. Even during the coldest days, the home was warm and inviting. We loved the fire pit. Although we spent most of time visiting the surrounding parks (Cataract, McCormick’s Creek), brewery (Civilian), and distilleries (Hard Truth), it was nice to come back home to the Cascade Cabin. We appreciated the availability of WiFi, TV streaming services, and board games.

Captain Bill's Guest House/seasonal swimming pool

Captain Bill and first mate Becky's guest house was absolutely beautiful! The entire house was well stocked with all of the essentials. It was the perfect little retreat from the busy world!!

We have been staying at Vicki's adorable suite for the past four years. Our son is graduating this year from IU. We are thankful that we found a wonderful home to stay while he was attending university. The space is always spotless, super comfortable and well equipped; it feels like coming home. Vicki is always quick to respond and accommodating with our requests (early arrival, etc) Downtown Spencer is a quick walk from the suite. Main Street Cafe is an excellent choice for coffee, breakfast and lunch. Vicki, thank you for being such an awesome host. We will miss our visits.

The Beaumont House: Foster Suite

I can’t say enough positive things about Jayme’s Bed & Breakfast! We stayed in the Foster Suite. Extremely clean, the bed was super comfortable! The Beaumont House is located on a busy highway however with that being said, Jayme provides a sleep machine and a fan & we didn’t hear any of the traffic overnight. Jayme and her husband let you pick your menu for breakfast & our breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve had away from home! The house is stunning & has a beautiful hiking trail & Nature Preserve right in their backyard. Jayme & Kyle are exceptional Hosts! Anytime I reached out to her to send a message, she got back with me right away and was extremely pleasant. My husband and I will definitely book a room at the Beaumont House in the near future! Approximately 15 minutes or less to Indiana University & Assembly Hall. 5 stars for sure!! The nicest couple you will ever meet

Brad was very helpful with our booking. I was new to Air BNB always used VRBO in the past. Responded quickly and always asked if there was anything else we needed.

Excellent host with a clean home and friendly demeanor. We felt welcome in his home from the moment we arrived. Everything was in great condition and clean. Much better than any hotel stay! Looking forward to the next time.
