Kaci was an excellent host and went out of her way to help us get items we needed to celebrate Christmas even though there was a snowstorm. She was also flexible with us as we had to change our check in date at the last minute due to the storm. The house was beautiful and cozy with awesome views out of the many windows in the rear of the house. There was lots of room to host our families Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a full Christmas meal. We will definitely stay here again. Only next time we are hoping the weather will be better so we can enjoy the awesome deck and outside entertaining area this house offers. Our only complaint would be that the internet was slow, and we wish the couch in the living room was bigger to fit the family better.

The home is beautiful! The home has a very spacious, open concept floor plan , lovely decor, and very well appointed kitchen. My husband and I along with our adult children had a wonderful stay. The property is also beautiful and we were able to enjoy the lovely fire pit during our stay in December. Kimberly was truly a gracious hostess! We hope to stay again!

Such a wonderful house! Host even left things in case you forgot anything. More than enough towels. Rooms were very large. Pool was very inviting with the slide and diving board! Also played a little basketball with the kids! We are already planning on when to come back. House was very nice! Had a great time!

Experienced a family emergency and needed a larger place for family. Tiffany worked with me for a same day reservation. Neighborhood was great and house had a small fenced in yard for new puppy we had to take.

We needed a place to stay while we prepared for our oldest daughters wedding. It was relaxing and clean. There were 8 of us staying there. The bathroom linen supply was ample. The view of the river was excellent. There was plenty of street parking close to the house. Would highly reccomend to anyone with a large group.

Our stay at the Hobbit House was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care went into curating each room. Every space had its own unique vibe—whether we wanted to relax, feel inspired, or just have fun. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, making it easy to unwind, and the location was great for exploring Evansville. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a cozy, fun, and well-designed place to stay, this is it! We’d definitely come back.

My husband and I loved our stay. The weather was in the low-mid 70's, so we enjoyed using the front porch, back deck, and having fires with the provided firewood. We enjoyed listening to and watching birds in the trees that surrounded the house. We took walks on nearby gravel roads that led to The Green River, and drove in to Owensboro for dinners. The house had most of what we needed for cooking there as well. Ethan has a stuffed waffle maker and a panini/ burger grill available. We'd bring special food for those if we book again! We came for a quiet place to read and pray, and it was perfect for that. Thank you Ethan!!
