Silvia was a great host and her place is lovely, clean, and well stocked. Great communication and recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Would recommend staying here and if I’m in the area again I will try and book this place. Very close to Blenheim palace and easy to get to Oxford. Also, the view of all the sheep in the farm close by was a lovely and unique quality to the Annex.

Manstone Cottage is beautifully decorated, clean, cozy and set in gorgeous surroundings. We enjoyed a peaceful stay and highly recommend. Georgie was a friendly and welcoming host, she provided recommendations for things to see in the area, as well as nearby restaurants and pubs.

Sheila's little house is a really nice place to stay, very clean, warm and cosy. We found there everything we needed for our stay of 7 days. The soroundings and the view are amazing and so quiet and peaceful. Sheila and Simon are a really nice people and very helpful and very responsive. Definitely a place where we'd like to come back one day. Thank you Sheila and Simon for making our stay so enjoyable.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

Ed and Tracey were great hosts and the property was lovely. Super comfortable with everything you would need for a night’s stay. We were at an event at the golf club down the road so the location was perfect and Ed even gave us a lift to get the car back from the club in the morning!

We had a relaxing long weekend. The cottage was easy to find with parking. It had a lovely private fenced garden that allowed our two little dogs to wander. It was bright, airy, very clean, comfortable and warm. The wine was a lovely surprise on arrival thank you ☺️. It was home from home. It was very central to places to visit. With Didley squat farm shop and Chipping Norton only a 7 minute drive away. Thank you Nicky for making us feel welcome.

A great little place - cosy, comfortable and in a lovely location. Good kitchenette and bathroom and a spacious main room. Warm, clean and comfortable! Quiet and peaceful, with beautiful surroundings! Lovely and helpful host!

Amazing! We had a lovely time, accommodation was perfect! So well thought out, cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts went above and beyond, we were left lots of goodies which were very much appreciated. Can’t wait to come back.

Lovely little spot. Off road parking and only a 5 minute walk to the square in Stow-on-the-wold. Easy to find and special little treats for you and your dog. Natasha goes above and beyond. The only thing I would say a note as we managed fine, is the shower is quite narrow so if you are inflexible or a bigger person you would struggle. Everything suited us fine though. 5-star stay!! Thankyou.

Put simply Nigel's place is just amazing... everything was as described/looked in the pics and beyond. Comms with Nigel were brilliant...there was no stone on turned to say the least. The treats that Nigel left us were first class and a really nice thoughtful touch... would really love to know where the grapes were from?... actually delicious... we will be back for sure... Thanks Nigel :}

We loved our stay, a fantastic little place with great amenities. Easy walk into the town centre and plenty of transport, shops, etc nearby. Nicely decorated and plenty of space. Would definitely recommend!

From the initial communication to the arrival with fizz to the adorable bakery drop by her youngest son. Everything felt so lovely. We really didn’t feel like we were intruding. Having felt uncomfortable with previous hosts as an LGBTQ+ couple with a child we felt safe and cared for. Alethea was very kind and approachable and the space was perfect. Like a little fairy cave with everything there and more! We even had our dog with us, who had a great time. Very courteous hosts and our only regret was not making time to sign the guest book! We will definitely be using this as a hub for our visits to the area again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our staycation/weekend getaway at Mel’s place with our dog. Everything was as described in the listing and we felt at home straight away. Mel was super helpful when providing information on local walks, pubs, restaurants, shops etc. I would highly recommend Mel’s place to family and friends for a cozy and peaceful getaway, likewise would stay again if in the area. The place was spotless, cosy, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, especially with the lovely welcome hamper that was thoughtfully provided. The property had all the amenities we could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Laura was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed and checking in to make sure our stay was going smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely two night stay at the lodge! The scenery and views were so peaceful and calming. Julia gave us lots of recommendations which we tried to cram into our duration! Perfectly located for lovely walks, and very short distances to nearby hotspots and villages. The hot tub was clean and hot on arrival and was a godsend after a day of hiking! Can’t recommend enough for a quick stay away in the Cotswolds! Can’t wait to return. Thanks Julia!

Great communication, Andrew responded immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. Directions were very clear and we found The Duck House easily in day light. Andrew met us on arrival offering assistant at anytime throughout our stay. Walking into the accommodation we knew we had chosen well, what a great little find. Everything was very clean and organised and finished to a very high standard and with all that we needed and more. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and meant I didn't need to pack anything from home (apart from conditioner) There is a main chain Superstore 8 minute drive away which houses a coffee shop and pharmacy and it was a 25minute drive to Redbridge Park and Ride to visit wonderful Oxford. We would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much Andrew & Hilary.

Geraldine’s place was perfect. Lovely and cozy bed was super comfy and the village had everything you need. I was actually gutted that I arrived after eating as there seems to be a lot of choice for food with the three pubs in the village. Geraldine is very friendly and unapproachable, not that I needed it but I got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble. I would happily book to stay here again. I would recommend it.

Diana's place was excellent for two people. The bed was comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were great and updated. We also loved the extra touches like eggs, milk, bread, butter, jams and juice provided, along with coffee and tea which just made our morning perfect. The surrounding landscape was stunning and there was also a little shed with a view and two chairs to enjoy it. Also loved watching the roosters and pet dogs on the property. There was an issue with the dryer which the hosts promptly resolved. Overall, had a great experience and would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely 3 nights in peaceful surroundings. New born lambs in the field behind our accomodation which was cosy and very clean with everything we needed. Donna was a friendly host but left us to it which is how I like it. So thoughtful to leave us some welcome goodies in the fridge and roses. The was a comfy bed and sofa bed , kitchen area, beautiful shower room. Good parking. So much to do in the area. Would stay again and thoroughly recommend.

We’ve just had a beautiful 2 nights stay and absolutely loved it. Chris is a lovely and friendly host, making us feel very welcome. The location was great and instructions to find the place were very clear! The lodge had everything we needed and more. There was so much space for the dog, with everything enclosed making it safe for her to run around. We also loved meeting the host’s dog Barley who was an absolute sweetheart! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a break away.
