This is a very special location and the Shepherd’s Hut was extremely well appointed with everything we needed. Lovely for a back-to-basics getaway: no power sockets or internet just lovely nature. Very comfortable bed, just beware if you like your feet to hang over the end of the bed, there’s no room for that!

Beautiful slice of countryside just moments away from the centre of Oxford. Extremely well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a short stay, plus complementary breakfast croissants and milk! Very clean, cozy and comfy.

We loved our stay at Greengage Hut! Lower Nill Farm is beautiful and the location is great, with lots to do and great walks in the local area. Johnathan and Jenny were super responsive hosts and really helpful, especially with the hot tub and bbq! Their place is the perfect for a weekend getaway, and the hut has everything you could need, we felt right at home and couldn't recommend it more! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

Our stay at Lower Nill was so lovely! The hut is so well equipped, very cosy with some lovely touches. We really enjoyed the wood fire hot tub and the pizza oven! Jonathan and Jenny were both so helpful, helped us get the pizza oven going and the hot tub and were just generally really lovely! The farm is really quiet, nice to walk around. Slightly chilly time of year but we managed to get that winter sun one day, and with a coat and the fire pit going it’s lovely!!

Very close to, just 15 minutes, but out of the sprawl of Oxford; in beautiful farmland with fabulous walks and charming pubs, rivers for dipping into. Beautifully decorated space with everything one needs, quietly located in the corner of a field. Really comfortable bed with cushions, perfect place to read, with good light and a window. Recommend local-ish Mason Arms for relaxed coffee and papers. Good shower and thoughtful makeup mirrors in communal bathroom. Very quick response (booked hours before!) and kind and welcoming welcome.

Had such a lovely couple of nights at Sue’s. Lovely little place. Very cozy with the log burner. Nice green and peaceful surroundings with lots of wildlife to see. And an amazing breakfast provided in the morning. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous peaceful location! Super cosy and warm and clean! Would just say the boiler was very powerful and noisy all night - just something to bear in mind if you’re a light sleeper! And for future renter’s the hot tub for us took 4 hours to reach the correct temperature / needs a lot of time and attention to work, but worked perfectly when it did just plan in advance when you think you’ll want it!

this gorgeous place was so inviting, the host was amazing and the gran was so friendly to me and my son. this place is absolutely amazing and so cosy, the bed was the comfiest i have stayed in.. would absolutely recommend this place x

Exactly what I needed, peace and quiet and countryside. All was exactly as described and hosts were at hand if needed. The hut had a really thorough welcome book with details of local amenities and things to do should you wish and the hot tub was easy to use. I hope to go back very soon!

Just wanted to say thank you for a gem of a place to stay. It was very peaceful and we loved being so close to the countryside. The shepherd’s hut was fantastic. Very cosy even with temperatures dropping to zero overnight. Loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning in August (already booked).

We had the best time. The location was absolutely amazing, so beautiful and remote, and also very near to lots of beautiful towns and villages! There is also a lovely farm shop and cafe round the corner. The sunset you can see from the Shepherd's hut is also stunning. The accommodation itself was everything we wanted - cosy, warm and clean. Me and my partner had the most incredible stay at Rosie’s Shepherd hut. The hut had everything we needed and was perfect for a night away in the peace and quiet. The hut was spotless, had all listed amenities and was made even more special with all the extras Jennie had provided, coffee, hot chocolate, marshmallows, games etc. Jennie also kindly decorated the hut for my partners birthday which was a really nice surprise. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

What a place! We found this little gem as a place to relax and chill before getting tattooed nearby after check out. The location is beautiful. The shepards hut is in a spacious field with wonderful views and wildlife. There is another shepards hut next to this one but they are made so private you wouldn’t know. The hot tub is amazing and heats up so well. The little touches are very sweet. From the Prosecco, breakfast and long sticks to use for heating up marshmallows over the fire Aimee was also quick to respond any messages ahead of check in. She came to meet us at check in, showed us the features and explained some of the wildlife. Such a calming location. We loved it. Highly recommend. And take advantage of the amazing food at the pub nearby. The pizza… devine! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Enjoyable and peaceful place to stay. Perfect shepherds hut in a really nice part of the world. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

We had the best weekend, such a gorgeous location. Close to everything and surrounded by fields. Lovely hosts and a beautiful home! Just a quick mention - the hut is very close to the house which we didn’t mind and not enclosed for the dogs so had to walk them to go toilet so if that is something you don’t like or need. It’s good to know. Overall we would 100% recommendation and return x

We had a lovely stay in the Shephard’s hut at Buzzard Holt. The hut is very cosy with a wood burning stove and electric heater. The toilets and shower were clean and close to the hut. The shop was also super handy to have on site and sold fire lighters and wood. The site is perfectly situated just a short walk away from Stowe House and gardens. We also really enjoyed a drink at the Queen’s head down the road who were super friendly and made us feel at home!

The hut was absolutely lovely, in a great field which was perfect for the dog to run around freely. The bed was very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The BBQ was great with logs provided. The local pub was brilliant and there was some great walks nearby. Would highly recommend and will return at some point in the future!

We had an amazing time here! The site was even nicer than I expected from the photos and bigger too. We had 14 people there very comfortably, the bell tents were spacious and actually quite cool in the heat wave. Shower was good and hot, and we loved swimming in the lake. Pete was very helpful at check in and gave us an amazing dinner recommendation nearby. Would definitely stay again!
