Such a great house for a family get together - well equipped, plenty of room and in a lovely part of the world. Ian was super helpful and flexible to allow us a little bit of extra time before we left. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly and shared so much fascinating information about the area and the history of the house, which made our visit even more special. The house itself was cosy, comfortable, and spotless. The beds were super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. We would love to come back in the summer to experience more of the surroundings and beautiful gardens - highly recommend!

Me, my pals and our babies had such a lovely and cozy stay at Kate's farm over New Year's Eve. The barn was lovely, attractive and spacious, with all the amenities we needed for our stay, including high chairs and cots which was much appreciated! The grounds are stunning and it was lots of fun to be surrounded by horses, cows and sheep - the kiddos loved it. Kate and Ben were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us an early check-in which was very helpful indeed. We didn't get a chance to swim in the natural pool because it was positively freeeezing out, but we plan on coming back in the summer and trying it out. Thanks so much for your hospitality, and hope to see you again soon!

We stayed for a couple of nights close to Christmas, wonderful stay in this beautiful period home, with the village looking very pretty and festive. Having use of a sauna and pool, while it was frosty outside; made our stay particularly enjoyable!

Fantastic location and a real home from home feel. Beautiful surroundings with fantastic walks and pubs with excellent food along the way. We made good use of the welcoming log burner. For cosy nights in. Our dog loved the early morning walks along river and through fields with the three Barn Owls! A wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Had a lovely stay. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and very comfortable furnishings. The bed linen and towels were hotel standard and slept very soundly in the comfortable mezzanine bedroom. The excellent WiFi and bright, airy conservatory made for an excellent office space and we managed to get lots done whilst also feeling like we got a real break away from it all. Breakfast overlooking the garden was wonderful and I enjoyed watching all the different birds including a very pretty Fieldfare. Will definitely be back in the warmer weather to enjoy the pool. Thanks for all the little extras which made this an especially good experience.

Great nights stay, clean and peaceful. All amenities easy to use and Marlies was super responsive and helpful. We will be back!

We celebrated my husband's birthday with a weekend away here. The location is very good - easy to access from main roads, but far enough off the roads to be very quiet and peaceful. The facilities are great - especially the pool that my daughter absolutely loved, but the we also enjoyed the tennis court and snooker table. Overall the house is well equipped (as described) and very comfortable. There were problems with the boiler during our stay and Peter did everything he could to get this sorted and mitigate the effect. From booking to check out Peter was very responsive and helpful. We are looking forward to staying again.
