This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

This is a very cute place. We liked that it was two blocks from little restaurants, stores, and a bookstore (that was less crowded than the downtown strip!). Lots of great teas and coffee and comfy beds!

Our stay here was quick, but just what we were looking for—peaceful and quiet. Our family of six stayed, and one reason we chose it was because each of our four kids would have their own bed. No pillow barriers needed haha. Speaking of beds, these were the *most* comfortable ones we’ve used at an AirBnB. The space was comfy, inviting, and super cool. We loved looking at all the music industry memorabilia, too; what a neat legacy for Michele to share with her AirBnB guests! One thing to note: the place is a converted garage so it is cooled and heated with a mini-split. It wasn’t turned on when we got there, and we wish it had been because it was a pretty cold, drizzly night (December) and took a long time to heat up. So if you stay here, maybe request that it be turned on in advance of your arrival. I’m sure the property management wouldn’t mind at all because they were nothing but accommodating and welcoming. Our big family felt lucky to find this place to stay while in the area.

We had a wonderful time and loved the house! It was extremely clean and well-outfitted. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely home in a beautiful location!

George’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location can't be beat - just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for an amazing beach vacation. Five stars all the way!

Darryl’s beach cottage is relaxing, peaceful, and private for the ultimate ocean getaway with a nostalgic feel and modern amenities. It’s fully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable and restful stay. You arrive and see a breathtaking view and hear the roar of the ocean’s friendly greeting on a large patio with comfortable outdoor furniture, a BBQ, and charcoal (there was even sunscreen inside.) Darryl thought of everything for this studio cottage…kitchen is fully stocked with condiments, necessities, and cookware (it was our anniversary and Darryl had snacks and bevs waiting for us.) The bathroom has skin friendly soaps, plenty of nice towels and TP that isn’t the cheap scratchy stuff! Don’t get me started on the comfortable bed, my husband and I have different sleeping preferences and we both slept well on the bed, pillows and linens. It faces a large TV and we watched our fave show in comfort and style (we’re hoping to get the same bed now.) We’ll definitely return ASAP!

This was an amazing stay for my wife and I's honeymoon. Not only is it a 10 minute walk to the beach, but has quick and easy access to Santa Barbara and Ventura. Reina was kind, helpful, and was always available if we had any questions!

I had a last minute request for my employees and Bernabe’s property was perfect. Very quiet and easy to access.

We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is amazing and the cottage was exactly what we needed. All the beach supplies in the garage were awesome, including the bikes. We used the grill every night on the patio before walking to watch beautiful sunsets. Gary even let us add an extra day at the last minute. Everything was easy, plenty of towels, kitchen/grill supplies, washer and dryer, and even a cordless vacuum. Beds were comfortable and the living room space was perfect for our family of 4. We hope to stay again!

Lovely, well-appointed place in a great location convenient to both Ojai and Ventura. I especially appreciated the sustainable amenities. George was a friendly and welcoming host. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a lovely time visiting Ventura. The fountain and greenery around the house attracted a beautiful multitude of birds to watch. Aside from that entertainment, it was only a very short walk to the great downtown main street with lots of shops and restaurants. Staying here was a great experience!

The Cottage was the perfect place for me to stay while the interior of my house was being painted. I was easily able to work from there & there were many nice touches like bread & creamer in the fridge. Just wish I had more time to explore the beautiful grounds.

Beautiful home and perfect location near the ocean, the Oxnard Beach Park, and Marina. We loved the area and went for walks everyday. Also, the host is very responsive.

Nancy is a wonderful hist and the B's Hive was a perfect nest for us to rest while visiting family in Newbury and Oaks. Make sure to make time for hiking trails accessible only a block away.

Only issue was that I turned the shower on and it was upside down and sprayed me in the face and then got the bathroom all wet

We (4 people) had a great stay at this stylish and clean beach house in Hollywood Beach, Oxnard. On chilly nights, we used the heaters, and the house stayed warm and cozy. The neighborhood was peaceful, with beautiful beach just a 2min walk away. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway by the ocean. Thank you!

The house was super cute, clean and in a great location. We traveled with two kiddos (3 and 1) and the location was perfect for coming and going for naps, meals, restroom needs, etc. The beach was not the greatest due to debris and lots of dead wildlife (Unfortunately, there is currently a deadly algae that is effecting the sea lions and birds), clearly it’s not an issue with the host but the wildlife was on the beach for days and had been there for some time (city or county issue). We would come again for the house and location and hope that the beach experience would be cleaner.
