Great stay! Everything went smoothly, and the place was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, and well-located. Would definitely book again!

Absolutely amazing place! Was a little put off by clothes and items left behind by owner in drawers and closets at first but David was very responsive and the house was very clean and beautiful. The location was perfect and the back porch and yard perfect for the kids to run around in. We were very happy with our stay and absolutely would stay there again.

This location worked great for our team of reporters traveling to cover a football game at the University of Missouri. Shelley was great to work with throughout.

Great Host, was pro-active and clear check-in instructions. Beautiful, clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Nice little details and unexpected amenities, would definitely consider this place again in the future.

Got in to town early and with a very quick response from the host we were allowed to get in before check-in time.

This is an excellent getaway for anyone wanting to enjoy the beauty of Southern Illinois. The price point is great, its much better than a hotel. The washer and dryer is awesome, the kitchen is excellent and would allow someone who can cook to do about anything they want to do. The bedrooms looked great and the living space furniture was fine. I honestly never watched the tv, but it looked like a really nice big screen. Its in a rural spot with very little traffic and quiet, but your minutes away from Carbondale, a little farther down the road is Marion, both places have excellent dining and more city atmosphere. Crab Orchard NWR is almost the back yard.

best Airbnb we have ever stayed at!! so comfy and quiet, enjoyed the back deck and yard space immensely. this place surely lives up to its name.

This was our third time staying here. The location is fantastic and the house is adorable. Very clean, comfortable, and spacious! Highly recommend! Tracy and Stephanie are great hosts.

Pamela's place was very clean and offered everything you'd need to prepare a meal in the kitchen. The weather changed quickly while I was in town during the off season for a business trip, however the split units kept the unit very comfortable. The shower was spacious and had plenty of hot water. The host have more convenient items than hotels available for your use and I would love to come back when the weather is warmer. This is a great place to stay while traveling alone or with a family. The lighting outside the units and walkways allow for peace of mind. There's a nice area to sit outside and enjoy a beverage or conversation with your other guests.

A true jem! The decor is charming, bed comfortable, and the pastries absolutely amazing. We had to arrive far later than expected due to the wildfire in Oklahoma (past midnight), and Tammy was so understanding and compassionate. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Will definitely be back, this is my second renting this and is my favorite when I’m in Joplin

This was perfect for our family’s trip to St. Louis! These hosts put great touches to make you feel welcome. The place was very clean. Kitchen had nice supplies that made for easy breakfast cooking each morning. Kids enjoyed being able to play a bit in the backyard which was clean, well maintained, and surrounded by privacy fence. Nice space inside too and plenty of room for game nights while enjoying the record player. Neighborhood was easy to get to and noticed lots of activity with walkers everyday which made us feel at ease in the area. If you stay, check out Ice’s Plain & Fancy ice cream shop! It’s within walking distance and the kids loved it.

This place is right on the main street thru town. Very cute and comfortable. Close to all sorts of things to do and see. I was in town on business and needed to sleep during the day, so the road noise was a bit much and I didn't get to explore the night life, but when I go back for pleasure, this would be a great place to stay!

Ryan did the research. I instantly felt at home. A haven of coziness. He provided everything, so much more then other affordable Airbnb's. He was very considerate when providing amenity. Gourmet coffee, spices, washer/dryer, toiletries and more. Ryan deserves a big fat 'A'. Thanks for a great stay and being the best Airbnb I've ever been to.

Returned from a previous visit, and loved it just as much!

It was perfect and lovely!

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights an a day here, it was very well located to the tourist attractions of STL. Granted, we spent more time in the city then we did at our AirBnB, but none the less there were travel guides and maps out for us to browse, coffee and granola bars for the taking. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was amazing. Space was more then enough for 2 young adults. Jenn was very friendly, and met us at the house when we arrived. She was understanding and flexible when we got a late start that morning, and didn't check in at the slotted time. Being closer to downtown STL there was noise due to a train, cars passing, and kids outside... which was to be expected but a bit of a culture shock to 2 country folk. We heard the neighboring party through the walls at one point, but it was brief and not overbearing. There is a weird parking barrier were GPS directs you, but its pretty easy to work around. All and all summed up...10/10 was amazing.

I had a change of plans and needed a place for the night close to Forest Park for my son & I. Larry let me know quickly he had a place for my son & I. He helped my 22 yr old son watch the recent moon eclipse, made sure we were starting our day off healthy, and supported our love of plants!

A very unique and comfy place to stay. This was our 6th time there, an annual favorite of ours. Bill greets us with a big smile and open arms, just like an old friend. Be sure to arrive at check in time so you have a few hours to enjoy the delicious wines- there is bottle for all tastes. And you certainly don’t want to miss visiting with the friendly folks who live close by that come in for downtime. Prepare to take home gifts of specially made soaps & scrubs along with delightful candles, all made by Marjie Sanderson. I stock up to last until we make our next trip. Bill cooks a mean breakfast of blueberry pancakes and makes sure you have all you need for an enjoyable stay. You will miss out on an unforgettable experience if you don’t stay here. We will certainly be back.

Very much enjoyed the novelty, comfort, and serenity of this farm home. Very quiet, peaceful, homey and comfy with lots of amenities, including fresh homemade bread and (if the hens are not on strike) fresh farm eggs. Hosts are A+ in responsiveness and proactive with communication (an 8” snowfall came just 3 days before our arrival, and we received timely and helpful status reports about road conditions). Were in town for a February wedding this time but would love to return in the summer or fall!
