For those who don’t enjoy novel-length reviews, here is the punchline: this was a perfect stay. Kimber’s place is just adorable, beautifully decorated, quiet, and so livable. We are a family with two teenaged daughters who spent a long thanksgiving weekend. We had all the space we needed and then some. Three comfy and private bedroom spaces with soft and plushy bedding left us all well rested. It’s nice that the bedrooms are spaced out a bit from each other (the primary bedroom is upstairs). One of our daughters spent a lot of time studying and painting and had plenty of space and quiet to work. Three (!) amazing outdoor spaces, including a sunset deck you won’t want to leave and a ping pong table for after dinner fun. We left the upstairs deck doors at night and could hear the waves crashing in the distance. The neighborhood could not be more ideal for beaching, walking, coffee, açaí bowls… you name it. Thank you Kimber for a wonderful long weekend!

Place was lovely, perfect for our stay. We have a 2 year old so if traveling with kids, note that you do have to walk through the queen bedroom to get to the king bedroom but there is also an outside door so it was not a problem. Sasha was super easy to get ahold of for any questions. Would recommend, and would return!

This was a great stay for me and my boyfriend! All the things were within a 20 min drive or less. There is a very convenient shopping center close by. We had one issue with our stay and Katherine was very quick to help us solve the issue. Overall very happy with our stay!

Great place, short drive to anyplace in San Diego, clean spacious property. Absolutely no smoking anywhere in the premises, that was a shame as we like smoking cigars but its also something to consider as there are no funky smells at the house, so we appreciate the clear rules 👌🏽

Linar and this home were absolutely perfect! My family and I were in town for a wedding. I message Linar a couple days before we were to be there to see if there was a pack and play for my son. He assured me he would have one there the next day courtesy of the house! AMAZING! if you have ever traveled with kids you know how much stuff you already have to bring that was such a relief. The location is near the freeway so it's very convenient! The backyard is so nice! it was a bit too cold to swim but the hot tub was perfect! Very clean inside. Thank you Linar my family had the best time in your home it was so cozy and comfortable we will definitely stay again!

Overall, a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Miho was an excellent host - very responsive and proactive about reaching out to see how we were doing. The location was convenient and walkable to Whole Foods/coffee/etc, but it was very close to a freeway entrance so keep that in mind.

We enjoyed James’s place very much! Clean and well stocked, even they had plenty of snacks! One thing we didn’t realized was no washing machine and dryer use. I probably didn’t read carefully about what appliances we could use.

Fantastic place to stay with a large group, and a great location! Cheap lyfts to the gas lamp and airport. Right by Balboa Park and walkable to several wonderful restaurants. The apartments were very clean and had all amenities we'd need. The hosts were very organized. Highly recommended!

A sweet and simple rental that feels like a fair value. Exceptional host and centrally located for our needs. Would recommend. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the week at this airbnb. It was quiet and private*, we slept very well, and felt safe and secure. *There are downstairs neighbors and close proximity dwellings causing no ill effect. The bedding is crispy clean and bright white, as are the towels. We appreciate that this home is tidy but not precious. You can relax with your family and feel comfortable. The host is professional and helpful as a private hotelier ought be. Oddly specific: -There was no noticeable scent other than perhaps a spritz of air freshener. It dissipated by morning. -The showers are powerful and appropriately responsive to temperature adjustments. At time of writing there was no handheld shower option, shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided (Costco products). There are ventilation fans. The water is hard. - One shared laundry room downstairs

We had a last minute need for a place that could accommodate us, our friends who were in town, and our baby! Robert's place did the trick and was very comfortable and lovely. Wish we had gotten to use the back patio more!

Rami was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond for us and made us feel extremely welcomed. His place is in an excellent location, with most places in San Diego no more than a 20 minute drive away as well. We would highly recommend staying at his place!

Really love this location. Right across the street from Sail Bay for morning and evening walks or bike rides, as well as easy access to shopping and restaurants in Pacific Beach. Close to all the access points to go north up the coast or into downtown San Diego. Hosts very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Accommodations neat and tidy and well stocked with all amenities needed. Have stayed here twice and it will continue to be our "go to" when we come to town.

Great location - walkable to dog beach (why we went there). Pet-friendly. Great hosts, very communicative and helpful.

Janella's place is a cute little studio, beautifully decorated and conveniently located near the highway but also a short drive to Balboa Park and Downtown. The welcome snacks and drinks were a nice touch, as well as the bathrobes. Check-in was easy, and Janella reached out to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would stay here again if we come back to San Diego.

We had a great stay! It was close to the beach and easy to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Bradley was very responsive and helpful!

This home was perfect for our intergenerational family gathering. There was space (and enough bathrooms) to accommodate all of us without being in each other's way but also being able to gather in our larger family group when needed. The location with views of the mountains was relaxing and reenergizing for the holiday with family members coming from all over. Although there were various spaces throughout the house, the kitchen area was a definite gathering space and accommodated well for people to be together and doing different things: cooking and preparing a meal, sitting and chatting, working on a laptop, reading in the family room not too far away. I appreciated the communication prior, throughout, and after our stay.

We had an amazing stay at Chris’ place! He was incredibly thoughtful and checked in to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable, which made all the difference. The house itself was absolutely beautiful and just as described. The decor was stunning and every little detail was perfectly designed for convenience. Our favorite part was definitely the sauna, a perfect way to unwind. The pool was also incredible, we wished we had more time to enjoy it. Overall, everything was great. Chris truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed!

This home exceeded all my expectations! Everything was perfect for a group - from plentiful towels and outlets, lots of seating, VERY clean and super cozy! - This house is so beautifully decorated, and the backyard is amazing! Just the perfect place to be with family and friends. Sebastien provided very detailed and clear instructions, was very responsive and friendly. I will definitely come back for my future family stays!

We felt right at home. The house is very clean and well appointed. Bright, right on the beach and spacious. It has a little need for updating some things, but the master bed is super comfortable, the place is super safe and Daphne is a fantastic hostess.

Our Airbnb had cancelled on us the day before and we were scrambling to find something. Gabe was super responsive and got us booked at this Airbnb. A beautiful place to stay!

We simply felt at home! Beautiful property with many amenities! Pool, hot tubs, pool table, bbq and bidets. Great touches all around, kitchen had many extras like small appliances and big pantry area. Beds were very comfortable with clean & fresh bedding! Many TVs and great WiFi all around the house. My family enjoyed the entire weekend and we would definitely stay again! Many thanks

Sheila’s beautiful villa was absolutely what we needed after a long exhausting day with two toddlers at Legoland. We had stayed at a residence before here so we knew the layout and amenities more or less. It’s exactly what we expected and more. The beautiful pools (with a baby friendly pool), the kids club, the beautiful views, the delicious on-site restaurants, complimentary fruit-infused water, the adorable stuffed animal seals for the kids, and more. We loved that the kids could stay in the living room. Sheila had provided two cribs that were already set up prior to our arrival. The check-in was super smooth! We communicated for days before our arrival and we felt really happy with everything!!! We loved the amenities and after Legoland, we needed a bit of luxury and rest for ourselves. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely villa.

Dear Holly, We would like to thank you for the most amazing and wonderful place for us to stay as our house is being repaired. It was a delightful and great experience for us. The two full months have flown by. We highly recommend this Home from the beautiful Gardens to the great pool and the out door barbecue. Once you are indoors there is everything anyone would need to entertain with crystal , china pot, Pans and most anything you might need . The decor is eclectic and interestingly lovely. The views are fabulous from any window you look out from! Needless to say we loved it and thank you for a wonderful two months!
