Nice place for rod run. Just out of town but right on main street. Perfect for what we wanted. Little older place maybe some would say dated but its a beach house.

We really enjoyed our stay at Compass Rose over spring break. The space is cozy and comfortable, and super easy to walk to the beach.

I will be back to this location. Great back yard which was perfect for my dogs. Host had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Home is comfortable and clean. neighborhood was quiet. Just minutes from the beach - Host was very responsive and friendly.

Great place, wonderful host! Clean house, the driveway was steep but I’m used to flat so it was a good learning curve ;) it was 5 minutes from my aunts house so great location!

This was one of the most wonderfully stocked air bnb’s we’ve all ever stayed at! The entire house is littered with thoughtful amenities, games & miscellaneous items to make your stay as comfortable as possible. On top of everything, Dan was very accommodating and so easy to communicate with. 10/10 would stay here again in the future! Thank you so much for having us :)

The house was as clean as a whistle. Linens were impeccable and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We’ve stayed in several Airbnb. This one was excellent. Would have loved a hot tub but the crabs that we caught off the dock was great afternoon entertainment and the casino was close.

Because of an unexpected death in the family, we needed last-minute accommodations - Brian and Araceli's place was perfect for our family. It was very comfortable with beautiful, calming views from the windows. We were grateful to have an easy and peaceful place in the midst of a difficult time.

This was our first time to Long Beach and cannot wait until we can come back! The location of this house was great, walkable to lots of resturants and just a couple blocks from the beach. The host, Caitlin, had thought of everything and anything that guests could want and need for their stay from rainy day activities, cooking and treating yourself to a spa-like soak in a tub. Having the designated area for the dogs to use the bathroom was helpful and lots of lush green grass. Thanks for a great stay!

This place gets 5 stars. Beautiful view! Cozy apartment with so many nice amenities. Sitting in front of the fire while it was rainy and overcast was time well spent. Also loved the closeness to the Discovery Trail, Astoria, and the Pacific we ran from the front door every day. We'd definitely recommend staying here and will plan to stay again the next time we're in the area.

This is an end unit looking out over acreage. Very private and peaceful. Couldn’t hear any traffic. Place was clean. The king bed was comfortable. Usually is directly accessible to beach right from the back door but it was raining a ton so the path had flooded. Once the sun comes out, I’m sure it will be fine! Bring rain boots if it’s raining though 😀 we will be back.

This was our second trip to Ian’s condo and we love it! It is a great location with a beautiful view. It’s been clean and easy to get comfortable. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The booklet is current for businesses and local attractions, and had been updated in the last month. Ian was communicative and made the visit very easy. Highly recommend this sweet condo!

We loved our spot, it was quiet, away from everything, private walk to the beach, clean and spacious for 4 people. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows. They look fluffy, but once your head it's it, it's so flat. I wish we had brought our pillows.

We had to change our plans last minute due to wildlife smoke making a planned camping trip unsafe. We prefer a place that’s not in the hustle and bustle of downtown and is close to nature. David and June gave us that. We took our two boys (age 8 & 12) and wanted a unit with a separate bedroom for us from the kids. This unit was comfortable even without air conditioning- good couches and a kitchen with all the necessities. There are tons of movies and books on hand if the weather doesn’t cooperate. Long Beach doesn’t have any areas for tidepooling and June asked around for good spots for us and came up with a beautiful spot for us to visit below Fort Columbia. She also provided thoughtful touches like coloring books and hot cocoa/snacks, as well as rain boots and beach toys/chairs you can borrow. We had guests above us for two nights (all adults) and didn’t find it any more disruptive than staying in a hotel would have been.
