The place was awesome! We came as set of 8 small families coming together and sofa bed in almost all rooms is very nice for our kids to have their own space to sleep on. The host is very considerate. I love that the place has common room that fits us all in to gather for dining & simple indoor recreation. All our activities was set in nearby resort and should spend the nights to rest here but to our surprise we have done much fun as we did outside due to how spacious this place is. Our holiday spent here indeed gave us the feeling of being home away from home. Will highly recommend this place for big groups who still seek peaceful, quiet, solemn & tranquil moments to spend any occasion.

This place was amazing!! The property itself is wonderful but to walk in and already feel like home was unexpected. Everything was lovely from the decor to the cleanliness to the staff. We wish we could have stayed much longer!! Thank you for everything and we will definitely be back. Soon!

We had an amazing stay at the Miller House! The way Dawn cared for and improved the house and the property is inspiring! The house is well equipped. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the living room setup is perfect. We loved sitting out on both the front porch and the patio in the morning and at night. It was chilly outside at night, so the fire pit was a nice touch, with plenty of stargazing opportunities. The gas fireplace in the living room is also very easy to operate and gives even a cozier feeling. The way the house was renovated and decorated kept the farm house feel, and gave us a real taste of country living. We loved waking up to the sunrises, and walking around the property. Every corner of the property and the house is picture perfect (we took so many pics!) Overall it was a great vacation/family reunion for us and we really enjoyed the farm house/country life feel this house provided. We would love to come back in the future!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Eileen's. Her home was beautiful. The amenities she provided was above and beyond other places I have stayed. We loved the fresh eggs we were able to purchase. The home was warm and cozy on the cold nights. We used both the fire pit and the hot tub. They were both great. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

The Sun Dancer Lodge has the most wonderful views! Not hard to find, yet so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room and Darden was a responsive and helpful host! We'll look to come back next year!

I loved my stay here! It felt very private, and there was plenty to do in relatively close proximity. Would come again!

My fiancé, pup, and I booked this place for a relaxing valentine’s weekend getaway, and we got exactly that! The cottage was charming and such a peaceful oasis with the beautiful views and farm animals in clear sight. The hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs, muffins, and valentine’s themed chocolates — all were delicious and well appreciated! Additionally, they were very responsive and extremely friendly :) My fiancé and I spent time cooking dinner together, I baked, and watercolored, it was a lovely time! I highly recommend this place and hope to be back!

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

Can’t say enough about how perfect Donna’s place is and how gracious a host she was! The house is in a beautiful spot with views of the mountains and more than enough space to accommodate 6 adults and 6 children from 6 months old to 7 yrs. She was always quick to respond to my questions prior to our stay. And absolutely went above and beyond by decorating the house with balloons inside and out since she knew we were celebrating my son’s 40th birthday! What a nice gesture! The house is well stocked with what you need and the rooms are all comfortable! We had a memorable time and are talking about booking again in the future when weather is warm and we can use the pool. It’s one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at!

Great relaxing place to stay after hiking in Shenandoah! Loved the chickens, roosters, and Turkey greeting us! If in the area I’d definitely stay again.

We had a great weekend here! 15 minutes from the Luray Caverns just as advertised. Beautiful view and we loved the bathtub and fireplace the most! 10/10 would recommend, especially for couples who want a romantic and peaceful getaway.

Had an excellent stay at Anna’s. Needed a big house for a work crew for a week. Plenty of great space to spend the evenings. Awesome outdoor areas. (Flat top grill , hot tub, and yard games) Was perfect for our needs and would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer! The house was spacious and had beautiful mountain views. Our kids loved the large yard and game room. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a quick drive to get groceries. The drive to Shenandoah was only 15-20 min too.

Excellent overall. The only hiccup was that the basement is not heated, despite the listing saying that the whole house has central air. There is a small electric heater, but it didn't make a dent in the winter. Essentially, the basement is not usable in winter. Other than that, everything was very good.

We found Luray to be a good destination in between all of us to travel to for a family visit. Then I found this gem. My family loved it and we had such an awesome time. I really loved the spectacular views and hope we can return in the future. We were there in early spring and the trees were still bare. If I had anything to complain about it would be that it was over too quickly. Time only seems to drag when you are at work.

The house was beautiful and beds were very comfortable. My family enjoyed the game room and the backyard. Great place to stay with family to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Great way to end our Spring Break!

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

Wonderful place to stay for large family or family reunion. We stayed with four adults and six kids, and it was great. Plenty of bedroom space and essentially there's two large living rooms, a small living room next to the kitchen, covered indoor porch, and large outdoor porch. So lots of room to congregate. Parts of the house dates to 1700s, so it's unique with lots of charm. Fire pit also has great mountain views. And the cidery/distillery next door is great, with separate buildings to enjoy, depending on whether you have kids or pets with you. Kitchen is well stocked with a really great six-burner stove top and oven.

The cabin & the land were wonderful! We wanted for nothing & enjoyed the amenities including the fireplace, the gorgeous expansive porch, the firepit, the diverse selection of books, games & puzzles, gourmet coffee options, spacious bedrooms, stylish furnishings, etc! I must mention something that has nothing to do with the airbnb itself, but that I wish I had known: the surrounding community is heavily confederate. We were confronted with well-painted confederate flags on the sides of wooden barns/garages as well as flying on front porches and on many graves in local cemeteries in the surrounding valley. This made for interesting conversation, but when we went to lunch at Southern Kitchen & a few tables over was a group of more than 20 members of a motorcycle club whose matching denim jackets were emblazoned with large confederate flags on the backs, the situation became intimidating. We were a racially diverse group of six people ranging from teenagers to adults & left a bit gutted.

Joe appeared to be very friendly. He called couple of time before arrival to make sure we will get there.The house was historically old but was maintained very well. The location and neighborhood was lovely, we could see mountain ranges and lovely scenery. We enjoyed a lot . Thanks to Mr Joe for keeping/maintaining the house so well. Kitchen was clean, living rooms were many to manage spaces for our group, bedrooms were great, bathrooms were very clean.A very little concern was one living room latch and window curtain, and may be little bigger trash bin. Everything was awesome. We enjoyed using all the privileges. Thank you so much.

My wife and I had a great stay at the cabin. It was so peaceful. We brought our pup, and he had a blast running around in the woods. The hot tub was easy to use. We enjoyed watching movies in the movie shed. I especially loved the desk upstairs by the big window where I spent a lot of time reading/writing. We’d definitely come back!

Had a great family vacation here for a couple of days with 5 people and 1 dog! Ample room for everyone, and the place was cutely decorated for Christmas. Had all the listed amenities - only sad we couldn’t make use of the nearby river and all the gear supplied because of it being winter, but the indoor fireplace was super nice! Did some nice hikes in Shenandoah. Anita and Valecia were very responsive during the stay. Would recommend!
