Tyler and Jonathan’s place is a must for larger families looking for a place to stay while visiting Massanutten! The home was perfect for our family of six with four little ones. The kids enjoyed the many games provided by the host and the basement with its entertainment options. Hot tub was a great little get away in the evenings for Mom and Dad. The proximity to all the resorts attractions and locations was very convenient. We will definitely be hoping to stay here again when we come back to massanutten.

We had a wonderful time in this great house! The house was big with everything you could ask for. Our daughter was getting married at Rock Hill farm which is only 3.5 miles away and the house provided us a quiet, peaceful place to come home to after a busy day and evening. There were sheep grazing beside the house! We didn’t get a chance to tryout the spa and pool, but maybe next time. We highly recommend!!!

Oh my heavens......this place is magical. Truly the most beautiful views. We explored the area but truly you wouldn't have to ever leave. The hot tub at night under the stars might just have been my fav. Coffee while watching the sunrise over the mountains a close second. Please, book this home. You will not forget it. Cheers!

We hosted our teen retreat and it was a great space for team building and bonding. We definitely will be back! Great access to various activities for them to enjoy! The home felt like we were visiting a family member’s home. Jeff was a great host and very responsive to my messages.

We stayed at this charming home during our recent family ski break. The home is extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Jo was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the location. It is a few minute drive to base camp and walkable to the playground (huge plus with our kids). Each evening we could see deer just a few yards away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this house.

We had a wonderful time for a quick weekend getaway. A beautiful home, everything exactly as described - clean and everything was neat and in working order. Amazing views and plenty of things to keep you occupied during the visit. This is a hidden gem, not too far from DC and Richmond. Our kids and puppies loved it! Anita was a wonderful host to boot!

Family of 7 spent a long weekend at this beautiful home. The various views of the mountains were spectacular. The home was clean, spacious, had everything we needed, and was an absolute gem. Our kids and dogs had so much land to run around freely and to play when it snowed. This home deserves the 5/5 rating because it truly delivered a wonderful weekend for my family.

Excellent place to stay with close access to Shenandoah National Park. Clean and exactly as described in a peaceful and secluded location. Would absolutely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay. Definitely a great rental for nature lovers who also appreciate their creature comforts! Peaceful, quiet surroundings. There is one neighbor, but they are at a distance that felt quite comfortable, and not intrusive at all. My sons loved the property and wading in the creek, or watching movies in the game room. We enjoyed s’mores at night and coffee in the morning creekside. The hot tub was especially appreciated after a day of hiking in SNP. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked. Leah was very responsive and welcoming. My family has already asked to come back to this spot.

The Sun Dancer Lodge has the most wonderful views! Not hard to find, yet so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of room and Darden was a responsive and helpful host! We'll look to come back next year!

We were in Luray for a family wedding and am so glad we discovered Joseph House. It's a beautiful historic home surrounded by gorgeous, peaceful scenery. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city!

Jitao provided timely communication and great recommendations for local activities. Check in was easy and he worked with us on a late check out making our stay even more relaxing. The bonfire circle in the front yard provided great space to sit back and relax after a day of adventuring in the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked. Thanks for helping our group relax and unwind!

We had a very nice stay over a long weekend. The place was a good landing pad for visiting Massanutten, about 15 minutes away.

We had a large group at the compound by the swinging bridge for New Years and it was absolutely ideal! We played games by the fire place, cooked delicious meals, relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, danced and watched movies in the game room, laughed around the fire pits, played frisbee in the lawn, and watched an incredible double rainbow over the river after a thunderstorm. The beds were very comfortable and the vibe was cozy and lived in. Taki was great to communicate with and we’re very thankful to him and his family for creating such a sanctuary. We definitely hope to return!

Great house! As others have said, the pictures don’t do it justice. The property is very peaceful and private with beautiful scenery. We had a relaxing time at the house and enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. There are a variety of restaurants to choose from in town, only about ten minutes away. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. Very much enjoyed the stay!

My family loved the house! It's lovely with large rooms! Great kitchen and dining area! We loved the porch and property! So thankful to be able to take our dog too!

We stayed here for a long weekend in the winter. It was a perfect getaway. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable, and we loved the charming living rooms. The 3rd floor living room was perfect for playing games and we had a wonderful view of the snow fall. And the hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out! Charlene and her husband were so welcoming. They met our group at check-in and gave us a tour of the house, while also providing helpful instructions on the fireplace, heating, and hot tub. They also gave us several recommendations for activities nearby and an incredibly thoughtful set of snacks, wine, and even fresh eggs from their own hens! This was an incredible home to stay in, as well as an amazing value. You should absolutely consider staying here if you are visiting Luray.

There are no negatives to list for this amazing home! And the positives are endless. This house has everything you would need, it's a true home away from home, but surrounded in beauty and nature. Beyond clean, comfortable, and gorgeous views.... there are just so many adjectives one could use to describe this property. Everything was like a thoughtful welcome. Snacks, smores goodies, firewood, lighter fluid, toothbrush, makeup wipes...I could go on and on. They have thought of everything one might need to feel right at home. The drive there is just as amazing. If you turn right out of the driveway you are literally seconds from the most jaw dropping view I've ever seen. First place I've stayed where everything worked as it should, even the hot tub! Make sure to check out Skyline drive and bring your fishing poles! Cannot wait to come back!
