This is our third time at Jennifer's Airbnb, and we can't wait to go again. The house itself is wonderful. The area is gorgeous. And Jennifer is a great host. Can't recommend enough.

We rented Garys river house to get my family together (we have a college freshmen at JMU) to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The place was lovely, spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped for entertaining. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for relaxing on cool nights and making s’mores. I enjoyed the easy access to the kayaks and canoes. My family enjoyed the ease of paddling down the river and back. The front deck is the place that my family gathered to rock in the rocking chairs looking over the river, lounge in the hot tub and even enjoy a meal. I enjoyed watching all of the various species of birds that flew around the river. I will definitely be back in the summer!

We had a fantastic stay. The property felt like home and it’s located in a beautiful spot right on the river. The host was amazing and provided us all the information we needed. We truly had an amazing time.

We loved staying at Jay and Ryanne's place! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the loft was cozy for watching TV and the living room was well decorated with character. We loved the location in between sperryville and luray too!

This is a wonderful home with lots of history. The house is nicely modernized, comfortable for large groups, and has tons of outdoor space. Great for family meals, reading by the fire, and everything you hope from a country retreat.

PERFECT place for families to get away and reconnect with nature and unwind from the stress of everyday life. Gorgeous mountain view’s, exceptionally beautiful flowers, trees, tons of wildlife and very private. We saw about 10 deer almost every morning. The house was super clean, and the hot tub was immaculate. If you have young children, the room connected to the master is the perfect place for them to sleep and still have a barrier between for some privacy. To the other mom’s eyeballing the spa bathtub and may question the jets, I can reassure you it’s very clean. We would love to visit again to break away from the sweltering hot mosquito infested swamps of Florida, I cried when it was time to leave this beautiful house.

This house is perfect for a family or group. The house has everything you need. Very comfortable, cozy, and inviting! Views for miles! We would highly recommended this house for a weekend getaway to explore Massenutten (20min) and Luray Caverns (18min). My family made the best memories this weekend.

Our family can’t say enough great things about Keith’s place! The house was exactly what we needed for a long weekend getaway. The kitchen was stocked with everything and anything we needed and there were plenty of towels for everyone in the house. It was great to have the master and room with the bunk beds upstairs so that if someone was up early and in the kitchen, it didn’t wake others up. Our kids absolutely loved the bunk bed room - always a treat with kids! The master bedroom also had an extremely comfortable mattress and pillows. We were pleasantly surprised after a long day of hiking and being outdoors. The downstairs area is so comfortable as well. We enjoyed having dinner outside under the enclosed patio which completed the amazing weather so nicely. We also had a great time going out on the canoe - Keith is kind enough to provide plenty of different sized life vests for kids and adults. We loved staying at River Camp and look forward to staying again sometime in the future!

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this stunning riverside retreat! The house is tucked away in the woods with incredible views of the river from almost every room. We loved relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna, spending time on the deck right above the water, and enjoying evenings around the fire pit. The game room and home theater were perfect for cozy nights in, and the fishing spot right on the property was a big hit with our family. We stayed with our 5-month-old son, my father-in-law, and our French Bulldog puppy—and everyone felt right at home. The property is beautifully maintained, fully pet-friendly, and so peaceful. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into creating a welcoming and relaxing space. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and fun, this place is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Super Cozy Place. Would be a great choice if you’re traveling with a young family. The kids area upstairs is perfect for a few young people to share. We loved the outdoor space. Spent the whole weekend in, cooking and hanging out. Clean, cozy and cute. Ceiling fans in every room was a great touch. Just minutes away from a dollar general and 15 from Woodstock (cute shops and stores). So close to the river you can hear it in the night and see it in the day. You could walk down to it from the backyard. Anyway, we loved it. I’m sure the backyard feels even more private when the trees are full.

We had a great stay in Shenandoah. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for during our long weekend. It was situated in a private area on a farm with all of the amenities we were looking for. We were able to have a fire outside, enjoy a walk to the creek, do some fishing, and we even spent some time at the local museum. We are grateful for John for being so responsive and for Ashley coming to ensure the one issue we had was resolved (which it was, very quickly)!

From the moment I pulled up I was in love. From the serene lake to the beautiful view in the backyard, everything was perfect. The book tells you everything you need to know. Everything was clean. I will return.

A magical overnight stay, for sure! The cottages were cozy, well thought out, and very clean! The “back yard” was like a gorgeous fairy land. We already can’t wait to come back, one night was not enough!

Great place on the river! We loved our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. Not much luck fishing yet, but may be early in the year for that. kids loved kayaking, and i had a great time taking the pups out in the canoe. Very relaxing, plenty of already split wood for the fireplace or the fire pit (we used both). Kitchen was VERY WELL stocked. Definitely would recommend this place!

If you want a calm getaway with beautiful sights in a beautiful home this is definitely the house for you! My group had an amazing time using all the amenities provided we made smores on the fire pit, barbecued almost everyday there and we got to take the canoes and kayaks out in the water.

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin . The place is stocked well , and very clean . Tom and Margo responded quickly to our questions . Beautiful place right on the river with amazing views . If you like to fish or kayak this is the place to go . Easy access to the river . We caught plenty of fish , saw eagles and deer . We will be back for sure ! Thank you again !

The cabin was even better than expected! Large rooms, spacious bathrooms, and a large basement area. There is an absolutely massive deck with plenty of picnic tables and an industrial company picnic-sized charcoal grill. The best part was the fire pit, surrounded by four swinging benches! Slept 14 people comfortably with an extra air mattress.

We loved staying at this cabin while visiting Shenandoah National park and Luray. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was lovely to cook in, and the views and river access made this place a hit for everyone in our family. Thanks for sharing the space and we hope to return in the future!

What a fantastic weekend! This cabin was so sweet, in a peaceful and beautiful location, close to the river, with chickens, tons of birds, our own little porch cat, and kayaks and canoes available at any time. It is also in the perfect location to visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah. The cabin was comfortable, well stocked, and the fresh eggs were delicious. Owners are very responsive. Highly recommend!

Cabin was super cozy and welcoming! We had a great restorative weekend here. It would definitely be even better in the summer when we could take more advantage of the outside space but was still lovely in the winter
