Yellow Submarine

We absolutely loved staying in the yellow sub, it was exactly as it was described by Keith & Jen. You can feel their passion for the project from their first communication. Our older kids loved it, super quirky & definitely a unique stay, they were entertained for our entire stay and just kept finding new buttons & knobs to turn and try. We don't think there is a single guest who has stayed there that hasn't loved it. It's something totally different and super fun. All the little touches really make the experience even better. Well worth it and a great way for us to end our mini adventure. Keith & Jen you're just awesome.

A beautiful quiet stay in a very cozy little area. A lovely house with amazing winter sun in the afternoon, perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. Lovely host with excellent communication. Looking forward to returning.

Jacquie was incredibly hospitable. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with homemade bread, baking, AND muesli! I had a tough drive down and Jacquie even offered to provide me dinner. Eddison is an absolute treat if you get the chance to meet him! If an attentive host is what you like, Jacquie is absolutely the one for you!

The Eclectic Escape - Romantic & Outdoor Bath

What a beautiful, well-designed space. The thoughtfulness is really about guest experience, with numerous special touches that really invite a luxury stay. I loved the balance of masculine colours and strong earthy furniture, with feminine sprinkles through lighting and welcoming music. Loved the native bird themes, the practical items for both dog and owner, plus children. Thank you for all you have considered for guests (and what an awesome, comprehensive guest book!). My daughter and I had a wonderful stay, hindered only by having not booked longer. A highlight, and I look forward to booking again.

We had the most amazing stay at this glamping site. Beautiful location, with lots to do around the site and not too far from Wellington. Perfect for a weekend getaway - wish we could have stayed on for longer.

The house was lovely and exactly what we needed for a weekend away from Pōneke. We had relaxing spa times, enjoyed the beautifully stocked kitchen and the nature surrounding the house - especially the cute doves we fed each day. Ondy and Mick were incredibly responsive and let us know about any updates.

A wonderfully cozy cottage! What a great find! The cottage is comfortable, spacious and clean. I felt right at home. Dean and Annie were very friendly hosts, who took the time to chat with me and introduce me to their family and pets. I can highly recommend staying here :)

I had one of the best Air BnB experiences at Sarah’s place. The accommodation is spacious, modern & clean. Super comfy bed & supportive pillows. The location was superb. Quiet & peaceful. The icing on the cake was the little extras provided such as butter, condiments etc. I’ll def be booking again & highly recommend to everyone.

Kate and Callum were fantastic hosts who went well beyond their obligations to make us feel at home and welcome. They were super friendly and responded to all our needs immediately. The house was fantastic, in fact as good as any other accommodation we have had in NZ. This property comes with our highest recommendation.

Dawn's attention to detail is outstanding - she has thought of everything! The place was spotlessly clean, and the snacks and breakfast foods were a lovely touch. We were greeted by Dawn when we arrived and were made to feel very welcome. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely lovely peaceful and relaxing stay, loved the gorgeous outdoor bath and watching the stars all night. beautifully warm with the indoor fire. quiet and carefree just what was needed, we will definately be back!

A hidden gem! Thanks Jo & Matt - a tranquil and beautiful spot to enjoy our 3 days away. Great instructions -clear and easy to understand. All amenities were good and in working order, bed was comfortable, shower was fab! Situated just far enough from town. If you want to sit outside in the evening id recommend bringing a throw or two as minimal linen available.

Little Paradise

My fiancé and I LOVED staying here!!! It was the most relaxing and gorgeous place. The views alone were stunning, and being able to use the sauna, walk through the abundant plants, and enjoy the river was so nice. George and Scott were incredibly responsive and helpful, and the house already has truly everything you could need. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to New Zealand!

The Cabin Noir

We stayed at the Cabin Noir on our journey up the North Island. The accommodation was immaculate, stylish and very comfortable. It was also perfect as we were travelling with our dog. It's a quiet location with a beautiful view but surprisingly close to local townships. Would definitely stay again.
