"Virgabaļos" kopā ar ģimeni pavadījām lieliskas trīs dienas Ziemassvētku noskaņās. Māja bija jauki izrotāta ar eglīti un gaismiņām, viesistabā piedzīvojām ģimenisku kopābūšanas sajūtu, gatavojot svētku maltīti. Mājai bija raksturīgs sanatnīgs interjers ar interesantām, rūpīgi izstrādātām detaļām. Novērtējām ar rokām veidoto kokmateriālu tekstūru un izmantojumu. Ļoti izbaudījām kublu, smaržīgo pirti un iespēju atvēsināties ledusaukstā dīķī. Pirtsmājā skaisti izbūvēta atpūtas telpa, kur pēc pirts baudījām uz ugunskura pagatavotu zupu. Paldies saimniekiem par rūpīgi un radoši izveidotu brīvdienu māju! Lieliski pavadījām laiku.

This was our second stay at Kaspars' house and it was very restful and peaceful. Everything inside and outside has been well though through. There was everything we needed - starting with the kitchen stuff and finishing with cute and beautifull decorations. Absolutely loved our stays on the terrace reading and chatting till late. Highly recommend this place!

Väga mõnus peatumispaik, ruumi oli palju rohkem, kui oodata oskasime. Majutaja oli super viisakas ja vastas kiirelt. Soovitan seda kõigile!

Thanks to Juris and his family we had a nice stay at the basement of their home. They offer a Sauna too but we did not stay long enough to enjoy it. We took a boat ride down Salaca ricer with Lacu laivas some 25km north on the road. Also you can visit the red sandstone cliffs on the beach called Veczemu klintis. Just follow the dust road and keep right until you reach the camping site on the coast. Remember to close the doors, if you dont want to catch mosquitoes inside.

It was a great pleasure for my family and me to spend our Christmas holidays at Villa Gunda! The house is perfect for a large family or group, with 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom, plus one on the ground floor) and plenty of space to cook, dine, and relax. The location is ideal, too – we didn't have a car, but it's only a 25-minute train ride to the center of Riga. We loved being in a peaceful spot near the sea while still having easy access to the city. A special thanks to Ligita, who was an exceptional host. She was always quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our bus from Riga was late in the evening, and she kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, ensuring we could check out just before our departure. That gesture was much appreciated! In summary, I highly recommend Villa Gunda to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

A great place if you're looking for a secluded, spacious location on a seaside. We barely saw any neighbors. The property itself is huge, with direct access to a beautiful beach. The house is rather spacious and beautifully renovated, looks just like the photos. We were looking for a pristine place in the wilderness and it was exactly that. We had a great friends and family reunion. Couple of things to note: - there's only one bathroom inside, so with more than 6-7 people it may start being an issue. There's an outhouse available - the 10km or so to the house is an unpaved road that gets rather rutted over last 3km. You'd be challenged if taking a low sedan there (although that's what we did, just have to drive very carefully). SUV is recommended. - there were a lot of mosquitoes and horse flies in early July. Bring a bug spray if it's the season.
