We loved the cottage, it was extremely cozy and comfortable, one of the nicest Air BnB's we have stayed in. Lots of room, lovely furnishings, well appointed. The garden and grounds were also very nice and peaceful. Location is great if you are there to bird watch in the surrounding area, very convenient to Pocosin Lakes wildlife refuge. Jennifer was super responsive and very kind. Comments about the sulfur smelling water are correct, but drinking water was provided. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

I had a wonderful stay at Stephen’s AirBnB! The apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly clean. It looked exactly like the pictures and had all of the amenities described in the listing. Just a few minutes from downtown and the highway, so it was very accessible to everything, but also tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Stephen sent a lot of great information about the apartment and check-in/ check-out processes, which made it an easy stay. Overall it was a great value for a safe, comfortable place to stay. I absolutely recommend Stephen as a host and will look to stay with him again the next time I visit Edenton.

Absolutely wonderful place. Perfect for couple's get away. Beautiful place on the sound. Extremely cozy. Georgianne was very responsive and has thought of everything needed to have a nice relaxing stay.

I must say this house is amazing. Me and my family loved it I have no complaints about this house at all. Yes I recommend for anyone wanting their peace and quiet. Very nice house again and the host Rebecca was great with communicating all the way before during and after.i most definitely will be staying there again

The GREAT OUTDOORS! I wish I had more time to enjoy the location, so beautiful and relaxing. The town is adorable. The community is wonderful. Stella's Cafe is a must. The accomodations were just what we needed. Kathy was very responsive and helpful.

Our 3-night stay at Legacy Lodge Bunkhouse in Windsor, NC, was a delightful escape to celebrate my wife’s and son’s birthdays. The bunkhouse kept our two kids entertained with games, toys, an air hockey table, and bunk beds our son adored. Outside, a mini paradise awaited: multiple fire pits (unlimited wood for $30, highly recommended), play areas, and a covered concrete space perfect for rollerblading and scootering. We enjoyed the wood-fired pizza oven and grilled steaks, though the propane grill needs a deep clean. The thoughtful birthday gifts and decorations for our son, plus a “Honk, it’s my birthday!” sign by host Deena (explaining the passing cars’ honks), added such a warm touch. This peaceful retreat is ideal for families or anyone seeking serenity. We’d absolutely recommend it!

Shynar is the absolute best host! The home is awesome. Everything you would need. We prefer to eat in and had everything at the home to prepare meals. Even had a new grill for cooking. Gas appliances were an upgrade to what we have at our home. Beds very comfy and a nice covered back porch to hang out in the evening. Very quiet neighborhood. We will be staying there in the future.
