Words can't describe how excellent Doris and Gary were as we had an extended stay at the little blue house. We had everything we needed when staying there, and they were always responsive. We definitely will look to stay there again when we go to visit family.

This was our third extended visit to Cedaredge and the first stay at Jan's property. We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed it immensely. The house was nicely furnished and the kitchen had all we needed to make meals. Beds were comfortable and the patio and porch were great for relaxing and enjoying the views. The short drive to "downtown" Cedaredge was very convenient. We really liked the quiet and beautiful views the West Elk mountains and surrounding countryside. Jan and Don were very gracious and friendly hosts. It was refreshing to have hosts on the same property as she was always available to visit with suggestions for restaurants and other things to do. I hope we can come back in the future.

Loved the place and Levitie was an excellent communicator. Perfect respite for a woman, traveling alone, wanting a quiet, peaceful, safe get away in a comfortable, well-appointed home.

a private, quiet, comfortable, warm place on a beautiful snowy day with a spacious kitchen with enough equipment to cook. The days went by so quickly, I was delighted. I would return without thinking about it for longer. Jason was always on the lookout when I sent him a message to have information about any question. He answered very quickly.

Such a beautiful place and incredibly accommodating hosts — highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable & convenient spot in Paonia!

So grateful for this option while we build our small spot in paonia. Would be difficult to do without folks like Sandy! 🙏 and she lets us come with our enormous dogs! 🐶

Rebekah was so kind to accommodate to us on more than a few occasions and she was such a responsive host. The lake house was so beautiful and spacious, it was perfect for my family. The entire house itself was fully stocked and we seldom had to go out to grab basic necessities which made our stay comfortable and stress free. I would definitely recommend this oasis to anyone who is looking to getaway with a big family who also has someone who has ADA needs. Thank you again to the Nelson’s for sharing their beautiful home & we hope that we will get another chance to visit again next time.

Beautiful space with lovely hosts. Very accessible to the winter sports we were looking for. Would gladly stay again.

5* - not in the same way as a 5* hotel it must be noted - this is a rustic yurt after all. 5* privacy, location, and a wonderful stay with dogs with the 2 acre fenced area around the yurt. Fabulous views from the deck and so very peaceful. There is enough electricity if you don't waste it, and George showed me how to check the inverter and start the generator if needed etc. I stayed on my own with 2 dogs and felt absolutely safe. Actually nice to not have wifi and disconnect. A yurt stay isn't for everyone, but if privacy and views are your thing, this cannot be beaten.

We love staying to the old Crystal Meadows! We stayed there 3 years ago and enjoyed it then as well.. Unfortunately, a couple of things...we were asked to wash the dishes and put back...No dish soap or dish towels to do so. I asked IN PERSON what the hours were for the store as I needed to get ice. Told 4PM and I said it was good as I would be back by then. SO, I didn't get what I needed in town. Came back to a piece of tape over the 4pm closing time and it was closed! No ice....how many miles from town? It was disappointing. Don't promise something you can't honor. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Clean, cozy, and convenient! Lovely place to stay for adventures on the Grand Mesa! Would stay again in a heartbeat!

A very special home in a very special, accessible, and yet private location. Great home with every amenity possible, both indoors and outdoors. Super, welcoming, responsive host. Detailed instructions covered this home’s many features. Hard to imagine a better place to relax, celebrate and enjoy with family and/or friends, and the price is right.

My girlfriend and i really enjoyed our stay here, it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor kitchen area was a great place to spend some time together and the hot tub was much needed!

This cabin was perfect for a relaxing and off-the-grid stay. The home itself is beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed from extra pillows to kitchen utensils and pots. We enjoyed the beauty around the cabin so much. There were so many hummingbirds enjoying the feeders on the porch, plenty of room for the dogs to run, the most stunning views of the stars at night, and laying by (and in the river) was an absolute pleasure. We ventured into Paonia and enjoyed the town and wine tastings. And the cabin is a nice drive through beautiful aspen groves to Crested Butte. I would recommend this cabin to anyone (especially those dogs) wanting a peaceful, fairly remote stay. I would note that the property isn’t gated or fenced so if your dogs bolt, probably best to keep them on leash. This stay was a 10/10 for us!

Beautiful setting for this upscale and comfortable yurt. Easy drive to downtown Paonia and Hotchkiss. George was a great host who told the story behind building the yurt and encouraged us to explore the rest of the property.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay. Oakley's oasis was very cozy with a beautiful jacuzzi tub and comfortable bed. The lodge area and amenities were great. Paonia is a wonderful place to visit and we will absolutely return to this place.
