Papa Bay : locations de vacances

My wife and I LOVED our stay at the Kona Coffee Plantation. The spacious, tastefully furnished apartment is set in a beautiful, jungle like setting. Although the unit sits above the main house it offers complete privacy. Loved the large deck off the main living area and the huge sliding doors that lead to it—helped bring the outside, in. The photos don’t do the property justice. Kona, itself is a few minutes drive down the mountain by and some of the best beaches in Waikoloa are an easy half hour drive. Our favorite was A bay. Staying here gave us the best of both worlds—beach and mountain side. Highly recommend!

The view is unbelievably beautiful! Located right on the ocean’s edge. Fell asleep nightly to the sounds of the ocean! Spent every morning enjoying coffee on the lanai taking in the beauty. The condo was beautifully maintained! Betsy was a great host. When we return to the Big Island we will absolutely stay here again! Loved it!!!

I had a great stay at Mark’s place! He was very responsive and helpful throughout my visit. The space itself is beautiful—high ceilings, very spacious, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything was set up to make me feel right at home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others! Also, we stayed 4 nights and found local hidden gem places that we could enjoy. Location is very private and quiet which is loved it.

The place was beautiful and well-appointed. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Jodi was an incredible host. We had a wonderful vacation and would love to come back!

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

Great place to stay for a few nights on the south side of the island. We had two children with us which made it a little more complicated, but overall for a few nights it wasn't bad. Deanne was super helpful with any needs we had and wonderful to chat with. Our only issue was with the shower. We tried to follow the instructions listed in the bathroom, but no matter what we did the water would go too hot and then all of the sudden too cold. We could not get it to hold a good temperature. Overall though if you want an authentic Hawaiian experience, this is a great place to stay.
