Perfect home in the country. The home was spacious and inviting. The large windows allowed tons of natural light and the 2 large sliding doors were perfect for the afternoon breeze to come in and sweep through the house. Lots of working space in the kitchen and a bonus Blackstone to cook on outside. My teenagers and toddlers enjoyed exploring the woods and finding cool things near the creek.

It was a great little getaway would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to just get out of the city for a bit and enjoy some peaceful views

This is one of the best properties we have rented. Spacious, well-designed, clean and great location. It’s walkable to downtown but just far enough away to feel quiet and private. Well stocked kitchen without having too much accumulated stuff to create clutter. Window shades for privacy and light control. Joseph was a very responsive host. Would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Matt's place. Matt came and met us, talked and got to know us like good friends. The home is secluded just like we had hoped and very easy to find. Plenty of beds for our group to rest. We were able to see wild deer roam and drink from the pond. If we ever need to be back in the area, this would be our choice again.

This was an incredibly beautiful and peaceful spot. The cabin was comfortably furnished and modern, but still had a rustic feel.

Shawn & Betsy provided detailed instructions about how to find the house, which was important because maps apps don’t get you there. They were both proactive and responsive. The house was exactly as advertised. There was more than enough space to accommodate our group of 5. Great hosts!

Enjoyed our stay and memories made! Will try to stay here again next year on our annual trip to Mark Twain Lake hunting trip if it is available. It is convenient to boat ramp and has adequate parking for boat and trailer.

Melissa’s place looked just like the photos. It was clean and had lots of space for our stay. Melissa responded quickly to all questions. I would book this place again.
