We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

This was a convenient location for our visit to our family nearby, and for our visits to the area. Shinly communicated with us before and during our visit. The flat had a good range of facilities, and was as advertised. We would be very pleased to stay there again if on a future visit.

Soon Lye’s place was perfect for our family of 4. The apartment is very spacious – way more than what we expected. It is very nicely decorated, and you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay (the washer and filter water were a big plus for us). Great location on Chulia Street, one of the most popular streets in Georgetown. You can easily walk to all the main sights. Plenty of places to eat around. Soon Lye was a super host. He let us have an early check-in and a late check-out, which were so much appreciated, and he was always very quick to reply to any of my queries. Thank you for everything Soon Lye!

Highly recommend!! Clear and fluid communication throughout the entire stay. Hosts were friendly and accommodating - they met all our needs and requests in a timely manner. We put the kitchen to full use for an entire week and it was easy to walk or Grab to get groceries or visit the beach. The complex was safe, quiet and, of course, the view was magnificent! We had a relaxed, effortless and beautiful stay in Batu Ferrenghi. Can't wait to return!

Really enjoyed the apartment and I felt comfortable right away! It's spacious and bright with a wonderful view. Great having a microwave, washing machine and dryer, plus a water filter machine so you don't have to buy water. The TV is preloaded with an app that has a lot of content from all the streaming services (Netflix, Disney. AppleTV, Max, etc) so you don't need to (won't be able to) use your own account. Very convenient having a convenience store and Starbucks in the building. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended❣️ I absolutely loved my stay here! The place was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. Everything was walkable and super accessible — shops, restaurants, and public transport were all just a short stroll away. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Booked the apartment and I must say it is really splendid! Amenities that you need is all in place, and is good walking distance to many nice delicacies around! Host themselves were super engaging and really really wonderful in ensuring that our stay is well taken care of! My Family and I really enjoyed our stay here and we look forward to returning and booking with the host again! ☺️

Very nice place and clean

It was about 10-15mins from everywhere we needed to go, so location was great! It’s by the beach and it was pretty near some convenience stores, so overall it was great!

I had a wonderful stay at this house! The location was incredibly peaceful, offering beautiful sunset and a stunning sea view that made every day special. The house itself was charming, and I especially enjoyed the fish pond, which added a tranquil touch to the atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature. The moment we unlocked the door, a sweet nice smell catch my nose. Very comfortable place and it feels like at home. Peacefull environment but too quiet sometimes. Definitely will choose to stay here again. Recommended for family.

Casey was a wonderful host! The place is identical to the photos and a great place to base yourself to explore Georgetown. Walkable to some amazing food courts and easy grab to many night markets. Wonderful views from both the condo and swimming pool.

A very comfortable place that truly feels like home. All the amenities were provided a fully equipped kitchen, clean and cozy bed and a nice area to relax in. The host was friendly and responsive, which made the stay even better. Great location too. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay here again!

Gurney Resort était vraiment un très bel endroit pour séjourner à Penang, dans la périphérie de Georgetown. L'accueil s'est fait de manière très fluide, la procédure est vraiment très bien expliquée par Diana et chaque étape est bien précisée. La piscine est agréable avec une très belle vue, l'appartement est hyper fonctionnel, tout est disponible comme à la maison. Et tout est très propre et bien entretenu. Toutes les commodités sont accessibles à pieds. De beaux endroits pour prendre un brunch le matin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Pricey Airbnb-friendly condo located next to Marriott hotel. Worth a stay since the views are exceptional and the location is quite central too. A unique property where on one hand you see the coast, and on the other, you see the city and Penang hill. Walkable to the nearby park where many people jog in the morning if you jaywalk across a busy road with the hand. Walkable also to nearby Gurney mall and food centres. Carpark is wide and spacious but look out for the corner mirrors. Toilets are flawlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Bath towels are excellent quality. Free mineral water is a nice touch. Only trouble is Netflix tv needs to be manually connected to wifi sometimes. Nearby are busy roads so opening the windows lets both air and sounds in. Not as windy as north facing units but that’s the trade off for sunrise apartments facing east.

The place is lovely. Great for a vacation. Beach is nice, night market is... well, night market-y, the pool is LOVELY, and the gym is great. Mostly quiet - watch out for holiday nights though, the traffic is a nightmare! The space is great, nice kitchen. Gary is very helpful! Grab works to get all your food delivered. So I would LOVE to live there forever... just a bit expensive once you know Penang prices for long term stay. So it is perfect for a vacation!
