Such a cool spot for our eclipse visit. We used their kayaks at Camp Joy during the sunset which was perfect end to the trip. Highly recommend and would go again for sure.

We didn’t get to stay as long as we intended but for the time that we did stay it was suitable and valuable for what it was. The pictures are a great assessment of the area. If you’re a city or suburban person, this may not be your cup of tea but if you’re looking to be, feel and enjoy outdoors … this place is PERFECT!

The perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Oscar was amazing, was willing to work with me on adjusting the check in time, was friendly, but not overly friendly. if I'm ever in that area again, this is the only place I want to stay.

This was a great place for peace and quiet and just hanging out! we had a great time and their was definitely plenty to do at the place! the pool table was the hotspot for sure! Max was great and answered every question we had in a very reasonable time! Definitely recommend this place for anyone’s future endeavors in Weatherford, Texas!

amazing host, with an amazing property. it kinda isolated but a 5 minute drive and your in Azel. or about a 15 minute drive through a curvey back road with amazing scenery and you'll find yourself in Fort Worth. my family had an amazing time.

Great place to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life. Very peaceful. Wonderful local/on property tiny house community that all possessed open arms and were more than happy to show us around the grounds, local parks and specific Azle attractions. My Great Danes and ten year old were treated like family (host even went as far as to go to the store to obtain marshmallows on our last night to ensure my daughter was able to do s’mores and have the full bonfire experience before we left). The home itself was a great escape that felt like something from a fairy tail; we had everything we needed there with the whimsy and bonus epiphany that maybe all the space of our larger home has been dividing us all along. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We really enjoyed our stay at Oscar’s place the tiny home experience was great it may be small but it felt so roomy Very clean and well equipped our fur babies loved it as well It was very cold outside and the cabin stayed warm and cozy. This truly was a great quick getaway with the kids. Lots of exploring, lots of time to use imaginations, and very quiet and private. Our kids were between ages 5-11 and they all loved it! Trista was super sweet when we did the feeding barn animals and was very attentive with the kids. She gave us all the details of all the things we could do at the ranch. The house was perfect and had great space especially on the porch and outside. There is a dollar general about 10min down the road if you need anything last minute. The house was fully stocked with basic things which is so nice! We highly recommend this especially for people who enjoy being outdoors!! The river was so fun and we spent two days out there exploring all the rocks. There were life jackets paddle boards and canoes to use.

Great place to stay for a few days. The games, river access, and quiet neighborhood made for a wonderful spring break trip for me and some guy friends.
