Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. It felt like home. Thank you so much.

Have stayed with Martin before and would return. Martin is an excellent host--pleasant to talk to, helpful and supportive, but you have your own privacy in the cottage. A great place to stay if you have some time in Johannesburg. It feels like home there:) Thanks again!

This was my second stay here. Such a nice place, great location, convenient. Really good!

Our stay with Sindie was short and sweet. We had a medium sized group of people which resulted in African time booking (late booking) and Sindie was there to help us with our stay. We had a minor hiccup with getting in the upon booking which was quickly resolved. The place looked exactly like the pictures, with all amenities in place and as advertised. It was spotless and the other tenants surrounding us were also nice to us. I would definitely book with Sindie again, she gave us a lovely weekend

This was exactly what I was looking for.

I had several specific needs for my 5-week stay, and this place fit all of them. Large parking area and huge yard for the dog. He really loved it there and never wanted to leave. The cottage is almost completely open plan from the kitchen to the bathroom, with one room accessed from the outside (I didn't use this room because it was just me + Puppy). Simba, who is renting the house on the property, is a pleasure to have around. Great communication from the owners, who make you feel like you've known them forever.

The cottage was in a great location, modern and clean! the garden is beautiful and the cottage has all the modern facilities required for short stays. amazing place and I will definitely use it again when needed thanks for a great stay!

A total gem in Johannesburg! Really lovely, comfortable and spacious with everything you might need. Excellent newly updated Spar in walking distance and great restaurants nearby. Charmaine and her team were impeccable in communication and support.

Slightly Older property but exceptional attention to detail. If you think you forgot something they already thought of providing it and then some little surprises. Comfortable bed, air-conditioning, cleaning staff did an excellent job even the mats next to the beds were replaced. Friendly accommodating host and property manager. Catered to ones every need. Would definitely recommend and use again. Loved being there.

This property was awesome to stay at. The cottage overlooks a perfectly manicured lawn, lush garden and idyllic pool. The location is extremely convenient with Melrose Arch being within a very brief walk. The area has plenty of restaurants, more than enough for a week of dinning experiences. Debbie and Neil were wonderful hosts. I will be recommending this property in the future to friends who are planning to visit Johannesburg, especially if they’re looking to stay in this part of the city.

Beautifully decorated cottage in lovely location next to the park, coffee shop and shops. Spent a lovely Christmas there, had an amazing kitchen with everything you could need.

Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

The unit is far from main house, location is on the right side of neighbourhood close to highway away from river, property has power back up, and very friendly hosts who want to go above and beyond to ensure a good stay. I had a late check in and the host had no issues. There is internet and a desk to work in the evening. I would come back.
