Beautiful home. I cannot describe how pretty it looks with the natural frozen lake surroundings, you really have to see it for yourself. Everything was spotless, great location close to Walmart, Bulk Barn, Pet Store and even some Tesla superchargers if you're coming in an EV. The outdoor jacuzzi was a wonderful addition. Kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances and things you'll need (and more)! Neighbourhood is very quiet and the surrounding residences are filled with friendly folks. Only thing to make a note of is the fire pit is not accessible during the winter due to the massive amounts of snow near and on it. All in all, 10/10 would highly recommend and would love to return.

My family and I had a wonderful winter stay at Watersedge Lakehouse. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Our host made sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with instructions on staying at the cottage , checking in and local recommendations. The main living room was a perfect place to gather and have a warm fire while looking out at the water. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire plus the deer wandering about. It was a great place for relaxing and making memories.

Aliya is such a great host, through out the whole experience she was extremely proactive and quick with responding to messages and addressing any concerns. Would not hesitate to rent her Airbnb again. The hot tub and sauna are perfect for some relaxation time away from the city.

We had an amazing time in Bala for March Break! This was our first visit to Bala, but our fourth year booking an Airbnb with our best friends, trying out a different space each year. The house was perfect for our group of four adults and four kids, offering plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic for unwinding after a day of fun. We all loved the pool table and foosball table—plenty of friendly competition! The quaint, walkable streets made it easy to explore the local shops and cafes. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend for a cozy getaway!

Perfect getaway for a snowmobiling crew like ours. Just a quick ride over highway 11 to the main trail.. it was great to come back to a comfortable and clean environment at the bnb. Lots of games to keep you entertained and basketball was a hit! The BBQ and hot tub were great extras. Felt like a home away from home, and Jason was very helpful from the beginning. Beautiful trip all in all!

We were there for the huge snowfall mid February, never left the property and we were never bored. Spent hours creating a toboggan run around the cottage, it was so quiet outside, lovely. The hot tub and the sauna were a huge hit. Inside there is a cupboard full of games and puzzles and lego and a large bookshelf but the prize goes to the karaoke machine, that was a blast for young and old. The communal space was wide open and so bright, enjoyed creating meals and still being part of the fun. The beds were comfy, clean and there were full heating pads on the beds, loved it. Local store had the coffee we forgot and lots of firewood. Steven made sure the driveway was ploughed for us early the day we were leaving, no problems on the main roads. Loved the location, perhaps one day we will get to come in the summer and check out the waterfalls and restaurants. Thank you Steven.

The cottage is perfect and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The best features include the hot tub and the fireplace. The view from the spacious living room is amazing, and it's also pet-friendly. It's an ideal spot for a getaway with family and friends, and I would definitely recommend it! I would love to return during another season, as there is a fantastic outdoor fireplace and kayaks available, which we couldn't use this time due to the cold weather.

We had a perfect stay with Pam and Bryan. Their accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with many amenities that make the stay very pleasant. The communication with them was smooth and warm, which made the experience even better. We left delighted and highly recommend their accommodation!

We had a fantastic stay, and Tyler & Tyler were some of the most responsive and helpful hosts we’ve ever had. Upon arrival, we encountered a flood (not their fault), and when we reached out, they immediately took action. They were proactive, knowledgeable, and incredibly solution-oriented. They tried to get a plumber out, but when none were available, they left at 4am for a 4-hour drive to fix the issue themselves, arriving by 8am and resolving everything within an hour. Their dedication, flexibility, and kindness truly went above and beyond. Not only did they handle the situation with professionalism and care, but they were also genuinely friendly and welcoming. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to fully enjoy our stay. If you’re looking for amazing hosts who truly care about their guests, look no further. Highly recommend!

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

Jonathan’s place was exactly as described: clean, quiet, cozy and well equipped. Even the driveway, walkway, porch and deck were well cleared of snow (Muskoka has had a massive amount this year). Jonathon responded quickly with any queries we had. Great place, would rebook it in a heartbeat.

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

we had a great stay at Nicole's cottage! spacious, comfortable, clean and with everything we needed for a calm and cozy winter getaway. we were able to go for walks even with all the snow thanks to the well maintained roads and it felt so good coming back to a warm and beautiful space!! thank you for hosting us 🫶

A great retreat for a New Year’s nest. Loved the hot tub in the snow - and the bunkie! Very relaxing, comfortable. You should organize your food supply carefully though as it would take about 2 hours (40 min to Foodland, 40 min back and 20 min shopping). We were fine as we had brought lots of food with us. Also, the walls between the two bedrooms are very thin, so if you have a snorer….Otherwise, a wonderful property!!

We loved our stay at Natalie and Matt’s. Great little bunkie right on the water. The surrounding trees made it feel more private than expected. The sliding screen doors and full windows on both the bedroom and living area made the space feel so open and breezy. The space was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and had the feel of a hotel bed with nice clean linens and lots of pillows. Natalie was great with communication and gave us clear instructions. She was super friendly and was available anytime we had questions. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for anyone who is considering it!

Had the best time at Matthew’s cottage. Loved the private hiking trails, the sauna, hanging out in the screened in room at night, view right from the deck, lots of space inside. Matthew is super helpful, & responsive. Such a unique & private setting (we & the kids especially loved the little water crossing from the car to the cottage, made it feel like we couldn’t go anywhere and had to “unwind from the hustle of everyday life”, but in reality such a short distance we could go back to the car whenever needed) . We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting our family Matthew!

Lana was an absolute great host, very responsive and very understanding. She had a list of activities to do beforehand and when we got there. The place itself is beautiful, very spacious and very clean. Walking distance to the Wilson Falls trail which was amazing. I would recommend her place to anyone that wants to unwind and relax for a couple of days. Will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family at the cottage. Cozy, clean and everything we needed! Gorgeous and peaceful lake views and nice walking around the area. Playground nearby for the little kids and big kids too. Would recommend.

Me and my friends had a great experience at the Long House, the pictures do not do it enough justice, it is beautiful. Everything was close proximity to the cottage and the hosts were very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would love to come here again

Place is surround by the beautiful French River. Very nice view from the cabin. Stayed in the winter, so I’m sure it’s even nicer in the summer. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. My only issue is it did not have a stove and it had limited cooking equipment. Cooked what we could in the BBQ and hot plate.
