Our family had the most amazing time at the Beach Shack! Beautiful beachfront views! We sat on the porch every evening watching the sunset and waves. Many memories made playing in the water all day. The house was clean and had absolutely everything you could need! So happy they shared their home with us for the week! We will be back! Highly recommend!

Very quiet & close to the beach… will book again

We enjoyed spring break here with family and our dog. Location is great, house was exactly as described and Nancy is just a wonderful host. We really appreciated having the closed in dog run. As always, being on the bay side, while less dynamic than the Gulf side, is more peaceful and one is not constantly pelted with wind, sand and salt spray! Hope we can visit again!

The perfect getaway vacation place for you and your fur babies. The house was perfect for our needs. The only thing that was lacking was kitchen amenities. Then again, she didn’t list that it was a fully stocked kitchen either. You will have the dishes and cookware but amenities such as cooking oil and spices aren’t available. Looks like what other guests had purchased and left. Not a deal breaker for me because she had coffee filters!!! There’s also a Keurig there that isn’t listed in the post so if you like to use pods you’re in luck. All in all a great place in an ideal location!! We would definitely stay there again!!!! The house was perfect and just as described. Location was great and we had a great wonderful view of the Gulf. Phil was an excellent host and was very responsive when messaged. He also gave us very detailed instructions that were very helpful for both getting into the house and also things to do in the area.

My family enjoyed our stay. The location is literally steps from the beach. EXTREMELY clean. Normally we find random pet fur, hair from previous guests, or smells from pets, but this location didn’t have any of that. Everything was super clean upon arrival. As a family with littles, I appreciated the baby gates and connecting rooms on the main level. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Hosts were responsive and provided great insight prior to our visit. I would definitely recommend this listing for your next beach adventure. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Amazing location, close to lots of great places to eat. Also this end of the beach was super quiet and was very peaceful to walk at all times of the day. Very short drive to casinos and night life activities. The beds were very comfy and the pillows are amazing. Very roomy rooms and incredible backyard for the dogs. Amazing location and was incredible home feeling. Would highly recommend and hope to be back again.

It is a very quiet neighborhood and is walkable to a public beach. However, on some days, it was our very own private beach. The people we encountered were very friendly. We cooked 90% of our meals at the cottage because, in addition to an incredible kitchen, there was a grill on the deck. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, spacious, and even better than the pictures. The front porch quickly became our favorite spot! This was the perfect place to enjoy the peaceful beach atmosphere. The location is very ideal for us, offering a private beach experience that made our stay feel truly special. Ashleigh was a fantastic host—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our trip. We would absolutely love to book again in the future. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! The location was conveniently close to the beach. The place was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Beautiful place, just a brief walk in your flip flops from the beach. Two pools, and great views! The beach has restricted access to home owners and condos, so minimal traffic made the beach super chill. Great surf fishing right on the beach. The condo was super clean, well appointed with all you needed to cook in or make a quick meal if you didn’t want to eat out. Neighbors were a great, cute older couple that loved to chat and give you little tips on local stuff to do. Plenty of things to find to fill your time with on Dauphin island. Would absolutely stay again!

This place was very nice exactly like the photos the instructions was very clear at check in and check out the condo was clean and very welcoming felt right at home. The location was perfect for a walk on the beach.

A touch far down the beach but great if you just want to chill. Nice to not have traffic as soon as you leave the building

This is the second time I’ve come to this complex. First time with Sylvia. We loved her place. It worked well for my family on our vacation. There are two pools available and really close to the ocean. I would highly recommend this place. We love Dauphin Island and will be back!

We had the best time. The house was stunning! Extremely well equipped with anything you would possibly need. The pool was amazing and just a couple minute walk to the beach. We will be back. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Place was a great location with a big yard, house sat back off the road. On the main level there is a bedroom with a connecting bathroom. Two bedrooms that share a bathroom in between, open kitchen and living room with a half bath by the back door. Upstairs has open hallway/den with two bedrooms and a bathroom in the hallway.

This place was a perfect location for a family vacation. The house was well located, had everything we needed. Beautiful waterfront, sunrise and sunset views. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

We came down for Cruzin the Coast this year, had a great time. It was in a perfect location and pretty much across from the ocean so that was a added plus for the kids. The owner is extremely helpful and kind. We will most definitely be back!

We had to change our plans suddenly due to a Airbnb cancellation and this place made up for it all! It was better than we could’ve imagined. The location is perfect! We came for a bachelorette party and our plans consisted of barhopping and this house was PERFECT for that. It is so close to everything! As a group of 10 we were worried about the parking situation…the large parking area allowed all of us to feel comfortable and safe with our cars. We got there Thursday and didn’t drive in our cars again until check out. I am thankful for the incredible host for making this bachelorette party the best!

We had a great stay. The house was immaculate, and the beach was right out front. It was a short drive to restaurants but the traffic was minimal. If you are looking for a great beach view in your dining area, your bedrooms, and your living area this is it. Ocean Springs has great places to eat and shops to visit. We will be back.

Beautiful home that worked great for our family. Pictures are accurate and there are plenty of amenities. There was a thoughtful gift basket that we appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great house for our family of 12! Lots of space to spread out and relax. Just a quick walk to a clean beach. It was never crowded and felt very much like our own beach. The only drawback would be the busy road that separates the house from the beach but we were always able to cross safely, even with young children and pulling a wagon! The house is stocked with beachy items for guest usage! It was a great vacation!

During our spring break trip, we stayed at Lyndsey’s home, which was the perfect location for exploring Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. We enjoyed waking up to beautiful sunrises and having coffee on the back deck. The house was well-equipped for a comfortable stay, and Lyndsey was very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend this home and its wonderful hosts!
