Beautiful place! The view can not be beat. We even had a double rainbow on our last day. It was a little tricky to find at first but it was worth the drive. The locals were super nice and Hector was readily available. We really appreciated the check ins. We didn’t need much. Partly because we were out a lot but also because the house was well stocked. Totally worth it. We’d definitely return!

This is our second time staying here and already planning to come back. You, your home and back yard are so wonderful. We love the tide pools- saw starfish and spoon worm. The neighborhood is so kind and makes us feel like guest and not annoying tourist. Thanks for your continued hospitality.

Dan was very quick to respond, flexible with our checkin, and his neighbor Robert (who looks after the place) helped us reset the Wifi quickly when it went down during our stay. Very beautiful location right on the beach. We enjoyed using the available Kayaks in the ocean, and it's super easy to carry them right into the water out of the back yard. The kids loved the pool, and we used the grill (which came with a full propane tank). The house is a little dated, but well taken care of, and the highlight of our trip was seeing manatees swimming right behind the house as well as a sea turtle and an iguana! Had no idea those swam in the ocean! The food nearby is good, and the mountains + beach make for excellent scenery. Overall, great value stay on the beach in Puerto Rico.

This place was amazing! Felt very private as we almost always had miles of beach to ourselves. We really enjoyed the way the front of the villa opened right up to allow access to the beach right out front. The villa was stocked so well with just about anything we would need. We were able to see and listen to parrots all day and the frogs (coquí) at night. We saw many iguanas as well. My gf talked for weeks about wanting to find her 1st sand dollar ever and she did! Such an amazing trip and place to stay if you want to get away from the crowds near the airport. I actually enjoyed driving those mountain roads throughout the island. We WILL be back! Thank you so much Elsa for sharing this space with others. Such a treat!

All was great. And peaceful. Only concern was when showering, I changed the water pressure from the showerhead and my entire left side of my torso got burned. That night I slept with some pain. Thankfully, the following morning I was fine. Just be careful with the hot water. However, that hiccup did not ruin my stay at all. Will definitely stay again!

I would recommend this location if you are interested in a place that can offer Zen Vibes. Patilla is extremely different from San Juan. This is where you want to stay to catch beaches, culinary eats from all restaurants near by and from other local near by towns Arroyo, Guayama, and Maunabo. Transportation is needed to explore all beaches from here. Spending time at this Airbnb is one of the best times I had cause I felt like I was camping with nature, drinking ginger tea outside laying on the grass and the moon being bright as she can be and wow all the stars, what a happy place. I will be choosing this location again hands down. Christian was on point with responding, I had questions regarding excursion companies. Also, there is a highway that can be your best route to get there and to leave, instead of the whining mountain road. Take route 53 and it’s a scenic highway route. Everything was perfect here. Yall enjoy your stay !

This is truly a rare gem that we’re so glad to have discovered. It is actually oceanfront, meaning the beach is your backyard. Which is surprisingly hard to find since so many places are inaccurately advertised as “beachfront”. The pictures are accurate, bathrooms are super clean and the kitchen is very well stocked. Patricia, our host, communicated effectively all throughout our stay and they have straightforward check-out instructions (sometimes hosts have sent me an excessively long list of over-the-top check-out instructions). We had such a relaxing morning before checking out, which I really appreciate more than anything else. I don’t say this a lot (mostly because I love exploring new places and are very picky about many things) but I can’t wait to visit again.

Easy to find, close to my family that I went to visit, no issues with stay! Host is great at communicating I will be back.
