This spot was perfect for us - family of adults with children - to visit with family in New Iberia that live about a block from this Airbnb. There were enough private spaces for each of us to have our own rooms, the beds were comfy enough, and the space was just as described. That said, Center St is loud - cars with loud stereo systems, the train runs several times a day, and there are some interesting characters around. It was fine for us, because our family lives down the road, but just a PSA for anyone that might not need to stay in downtown New Iberia. Lane was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The AC seems a bit weak, and that’s speaking for December in Louisiana. I’d be hesitant about how well it can cool off the place during the summer. It seemed like the temp on the thermostat wasn’t accurate to what it felt like in the place. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Felt right at home in this wonderful little house. Perfect for a weekend getaway. This was our second stay in this home and will stay again. Wonderful host.

Exactly what they described and very comfortable.

This place was exactly what we expected by the previous reviews. The horses came over and took pictures with us. We will recommend it to others. Country like settings and 10 to 15 minutes to everything you might need. She gave us tips on best restaurants.

Robert was awesome and very easy to work with. He was very quick to respond when we had a request/question. Home was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. I will definitely book with Robert again!

Spencer's place was very comfortable and quiet, exactly what we needed for a weekend where we were on the go most of the time. Spencer was also very responsive and accommodating when we had questions. Highly recommend and will likely return in the future.

This place is so adorable!! The photos do not do it justice - it's an old historic Cajun cabin. The bathroom was much larger than I thought and has an original claw tub. The upstairs loft has the 2 twin beds and a double - very roomy. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful - horses, chickens, citrus trees, old barns etc.... You are close to the highway, but feel like you are deep in the country. The only downside to this place is that we only spent 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. This airbnb is perfect for an isolated getaway of quite and relaxation. Highly recommend!!!
