Wood’s house was a good home base between South Haven and Saugatuck. The interior was cozy and serene and we felt right at home. The woods out back made the perfect backdrop for a soak in the hot tub. Even though we did not do any cooking, the kitchen appeared to be well stocked to prepare a meal. The beds were very comfortable. I loved the simplicity of the house, yet we had everything we needed.

Sarah’s beautifully built A-frame home was the perfect base camp for our weekend away to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. Getting to downtown Three Oaks was a breeze and a public beach was a mile-ish down the road. We would love to come back for another visit!

We had the best girls weekend here!! Felt right at home from the moment we arrived to Holly’s BnB. The house was spotless and exactly what we were hoping for. We especially enjoyed its proximity to nearby wineries and local coffee shops. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun MI getaway!

The cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for my husband and I! It was the perfect amount of peacefulness we knew we needed. The place was adorable and the hot tub was really nice!

The place itself was nice and updated providing us with everything we needed. We loved that it was so close to everything. And it was a bonus to have the pickleball court, firepit, and hot tub.

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!

The house is lovely-quaint log cabin with nicely updated kitchen and sparkly clean bathrooms! Wonderful porch with hot tub. The neighborhood is away from downtown which has its perks. The home is one of many duplicates in a cute “subdivision”. Neighboring houses in the association are very close to each other and give a nice community feel. The house is close to the main road so easy to find, but some traffic noise. Restrictive parking but clear directions from owners. Lovely large dining table, two living spaces and three ample bedrooms with clean linens and towels.

Pictures do not do this gem or the surrounding community justice - this was absolutely perfect after a long day of traveling. The cabin could not be any more charming - and the accommodations were beyond clean, cozy & comfortable. Highly recommend a walk to Farina’s Supper Club for a delicious supper - along the shoreline of Lake Michigan - for the ultimate icing on the cake.

This place completely exceeded our expectations!! So many thoughtful details and just an overall beautiful place to stay. Perfect spot to get away to and be able to relax the whole time. Will for sure be returning next year for another stay!

A+ absolutely loved this unique cabin! It’s even better in person than in the listing with very cool decor and design. It’s secluded yet close to everything - best of both worlds!

We had an excellent time as a family at David's cabin. Everything was as advertised, and more. David was very proactive in communicating with us and responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was really, really beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and all the comforts of a well appointed home. David was clear about the pet policy and our dog was clearly welcome in the home. David left really nice touches for the humans as well, with cookies and muffins on our arrival. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and we are particularly impressed with how well everything is labeled...light switches, cupboard doors, electronics, etc. Very, very well done. We enjoyed our long weekend, winter escape!

wow! this place is dog and people paradise. the yard is beautiful and spacious for our dogs to run - they stay close and it look amazing with the snow. love her style and felt very cozy and at home! Had what we needed and gave helpful suggestions and tips. thank you and would love to stay again!

Staying at the kal-haven outpost cabins was everything I hoped it would be! We came up for my birthday weekend and it was wonderful; everything from the peacefulness of the campsite, to the delicious, free coffee and chats in the morning, to the bikeable trail right next to the campsite into town (we rented bikes from the outpost), dog friendly-cabins/campsite, to helpful staff (thanks Heather and Robert!), clean communal bathrooms and showers, and flexibility with check-in and check-out, I couldn't have asked for a better long weekend. Thanks so much; we'll be back!

We were very happy to find Lindsey's listing. The cabin was beautiful. Once we arrived we really didn't want to leave. Mike had a wonderful Christmas light display in the living area which he shared with us. We really hope to stay here in the future. Wonderful place to stay and wonderful and gracious hosts. This was a lovely stay, we were only there for a short time but wish we could've stayed longer! Randi is very friendly and gave us detailed but flexible check in information, along with some local recommendations for food and activities. The neighborhood was secluded and quiet, and the proximity to beautiful parks is amazing! The rooms were clean and well stocked, we even noticed sharpened knives in the kitchen, which can be somewhat rare in rentals! Randi is a great host with admirable attention to detail.

What a wonderful place to get away and relax. Such a cozy cabin with a great outdoor space. We had a wonderful stay!

absolutely lovely secluded little off-grid cabin beautiful place for somebody that likes to camp but wants a little bit more than a tent

The cabin is nestled on a little slice of heaven in a private, forest setting. A ‘deer-family’ visited us frequently. Ample amenities. We didn’t realize that the ‘unattached-second bedroom/sitting room’ was ours to use until later in the trip because we didn’t realize what the unmarked ‘extra key’ opened. The cabin is small, but for two adults and a dog, it was quaint, cozy, clean, and adequate. We enjoyed cooking breakfast and dinners everyday. The dog and the evening storms kept us in at night. The roads were easy to navigate and we spent a lot of time playing in South Haven, Saugatuck, and Fennville. The lakeshore overlook was a bit scary with a dramatic and steep drop-off so if you had young children or a rambunctious dog (oh wait?! That was ME!), be forewarned. Otherwise, the view was outstanding. We really enjoyed our time and hopefully someday our paths will cross again.

Great place for my crew to relax after long work days.

The tincan camp was everything I had hoped for. I wanted to take my kids to a fun spring break getaway. The cabin was so family/kid friendly and we felt very comfortable and at home there. During our stay, there was a nasty storm that ended up knocking out the power. Jim found out it would be a bit of an extended period before the power came back on, so he was kind enough to bring over not only a generator, flashlight and headlamps, but also brought food to throw on the grill for us, since we couldn't cook inside the cabin. Completely unexpected and unnecessary but so tight full and helpful! He truly went out of his way to make sure my kids and I were taken care of and as comfortable as possible in a stressful situation. So glad we made the trip to Tincan and hopefully we will have an opportunity to visit again in the future!
