We ate most meals on the deck admiring the lake and scenery. Most hot days at the lake, jumping off the floating dock, swimming and kayaking the beautiful lake. Most cool nights in the hot tub. Beautiful lake and close to many places (Saratoga, Lake George). Kids really enjoyed the lake, floating dock and hot tub as well as playing darts on the deck. Tinney’s Tavern nearby had great food and was an easy walk. Nice hiking trail nearby. Joan was easily accessible for any questions that arose.

We had a great stay. Lots of hikes. Star gazing from the hot tub was fabulous!

This house is great for group trips and families. Private yard and the hot tub is also really nice. we had trouble with the fireplace and heat when we got there and John actually came out to see us and help us out which was great. Lots of kitchen and dining space for hosting big dinners and meals even witha high chair for young kids.

We had an amazing stay. The view of the lake from the house was great. The house was super clean, had all the amenities mentioned and conveniently located. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, appliances and silverware. The second floor had an almost independent section which the young adults loved. Brendon responded to every question within a few minutes especially during our stay. If we are back in the area we would love to come back to this house. Thanks Brendon, for a wonderful stay!

The Airbnb was the perfect spot for our family to stay! The house had everything we needed. Brendon was extremely friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

This was a very pleasant stay! Judith went above and beyond and her attention to detail is phenomenal! This honestly is the best place I’ve stayed at! I would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family! Also a special thank you for baking me a birthday cake plus all of the other baked goods!

Couldn’t recommend Green Haven anymore. Barbara and Gregory were fantastic hosts, were extremely hands on and accommodating to make it a perfect stay for my family and dog. Everything in the listing is described perfectly and the property and cabins are super clean. Location is fantastic as well, just a very short drive into Lake George village.

MJ and Packy’s listing was exactly as described. Right on the Hudson River with beautiful views. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were comfy (beds could be upgraded but were adequate). Super clean bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of linens/towels. It’s 15-20 minutes from Glen Falls and Lake George and 25 mins to Saratoga Springs, if you want more options for food/nightlife/things to do. We were snowed in for a day and it felt just like home - games/tv/comfy couch. Would recommend.

Our second stay here and it once again was the perfect place to spend a few days in Cooperstown. You're close to everything in the village plus you can literally walk out the door and into the woods for that amazing hike to Star Field.

We absolutely loved staying here. The cottage was so clean and felt very cozy and inviting. I loved that this house is dog friendly but it does not smell like dog and there isn’t fur everywhere - this is great because though we have a dog, my husband is allergic to most others. The backyard has so many cute sitting areas to choose from for a morning coffee, or to relax with a book. Sunrises are beautiful. I appreciated all of the little details the host left for guests - wash towels, beach towels, toiletries, coffee, clean fleeces throws, board games, beach toys, life jackets, camp chairs by the beach etc. Lastly, we were here just last weekend(October) and the water was low - they notified us and gave us the option to cancel, but we declined. It was a great place for the kids and dog to play and they went above and beyond by pulling the rowboat and paddle boat down to the water’s edge for us! We would definitely come back :]

The home was recognizable as it matches the pictures exactly. It was easy to get in. It was super cold when we got there but when we bumped the heat it was quick to warm up. It was perfect for what we needed but is definitely more of a cabin vibe. Pots and pans are well worn, if you are planning to cook you’ll need everything like oil, etc. Kitchen table could be cramped but the counter seating was a great alternative. Getting out of the bathtub is a feat worthy of Cirque du Soleil with proximity of the sink and toilet, and the space between not really accessible because of the doors. That said, the tub held warmth and is comfortably deep. Beds are firm, but still comfortable. The living room was the perfect family hang out. We would definitely return as we enjoyed our stay. The place is cozy and rustic. It met our needs while our son was rowing at Head of the Fish.

We had a great experience staying at Amber’s property. It was the perfect place to have a family game night with family. It was super cozy and the surrounding area is perfect for a remote and peaceful getaway. The cabin is adorable and very clean. We really loved the Mini Golf!!! From the very start, Amanda was an excellent host! She was fantastic with communication, very friendly and extremely helpful with answering any questions. We had a great time and will be back again!

Wow this is a gorgeous location. Kayaked on the river, went to the nature preserve, and that was before we left the house. It is just a stunningly beautiful area. The cabin has a rustic camp vibe (wood walls and ceilings etc) but inside everything was top notch. Beds were shockingly comfortable vs. some other spots we have stayed. It did take us a minute to figure out how the shower worked, but that was nothing at all compared to our overall experience. Thank you!

A Perfect Stay in Albany! One of the best stays we've ever had in Albany! This warm and welcoming home was everything we needed for our weekend conference. Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood yet close to shops, this cozy gem did not disappoint. The space was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed to feel at home. Peter was incredibly responsive, promptly answering our check-in message with a warm welcome and well wishes for our stay—which we thoroughly enjoyed! If you're traveling to Albany and looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this listing. We would absolutely stay here again!

great place, wonderful experience for the kids. close to lake gorge attractions

Our stay at the cottage was perfect for our family of five. It was easy to locate, easy to check in and everything was exactly as described in listing. We had plenty of room inside and really enjoyed the yard with the playground and fire pit. It offered everything we needed inside and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. We give it five stars in every category it was a very pleasant stay, thank you for having us.

Great spot for peaceful getaway. Sightseeing, stores, Gas, and lakes, all are nearby and driveable distance . Felt right at home. Austin was great host . Will visit again.

Jenn’s cottage was a perfect lake front destination and we were very glad to have found her listing. The house was clean and well decorated and the areas outside were very nice and well kept. She was also very accommodating and responsive.

A wonderful place—a spacious, comfortable home with everything you could need for any length of stay, and an absolutely beautiful, peaceful location. Spent a week working, walking the grounds, and sitting in front of the fire—an absolute delight. Beds very comfortable, wifi perfect (if you're working remotely, this is ideal), kitchen completely equipped with anything and everything. Gorgeous in fall.

We had a perfect week on the lake at Morgan’s house. It was a great setup for 2 families and the layout was even better than the listing suggested. We loved the bug yard and the kids could jump in the lake whenever they wanted. Morgan was a great host.

Kim’s cottage was the perfect setting for Valentine’s Day weekend with my girlfriend. The place had such a cozy feel and she did a great job making us feel welcome by leaving delicious cookies and also setting the place up with flowers and chocolates. I look forward to coming back maybe in the summer to check out the race track.
