We loved the location—it’s in a quiet neighborhood, making for a peaceful stay. However, be aware that there is construction next door, which might cause some noise early in the morning. The apartment itself was clean, neat, and exactly as described in the listing. The host manages the property through an administrator, who was very nice and helpful throughout the stay. One important note: this is a smoking-allowed property (in the terraces), so even if you don’t smoke, your neighbors might, and you may have to deal with the smell. Also, keep in mind that a cash deposit is required. Even though the listing mentions self-check-in, you will need to arrange to meet someone for check-in and later wait for a final inspection to get your deposit back, which is not the usual Airbnb process.

Amazing tropical paradise overlooking the Pacific coast. We appreciated the minimal ecological footprint of Antoine’s little wooden cabin, the outdoor shower and the bedroom open to birds, monkeys, night sounds, stars and rising full moon. Magical. Antoine and his wife were extremely welcoming and responsive. Their passion for the forest and wildlife and for essential living is palpable and infectious. A rare and very special experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Lydia’s place, which was equiped as described. It’s was centrally located, easy to find and close to Pedasi. Lydia was very responsive when we had one small issue. Thanks for the great stay!

Este lugar es excelente para estar rodeado de naturaleza. La casa es muy espaciosa y acogedora. Lo que más me gustó fue el gazebo con el bar y la piscina, perfectos para hacer un asado en familia. Definitivamente regresaría!

Una casa de ensueño, muy bien equipada, muy bien diseñada y muy bien cuidada. Muy amplia, para disfrutar con familia o amigos. Sobre la montaña, a solo 10 mins de Venao y cerca de otras playas. Ideal para estancias tranquilas en las que uno quiera gozar de la naturaleza.

La casa es grande, cómoda y está súper céntrica. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento. ¡Recomendado 100%!

It was a wonderful, peaceful stay about 10 minutes from busy, noisy Las Tablas--because of Carnival. Mario and his family were wonderful, and were incredibly generous in every way to help us get to and from the town, since we did not have a car. The setting in peaceful, calm and relaxing, and it was a wonderful place to return to after a day in the city. I would recommend a car if you choose to stay there.
