Beautiful area, had everything we didn't think to bring and some! Wish we had of booked for an extra few days, with us visiting family it was impossible to squeeze everything in! Colchester is the jewel of Essex county in my opinion!

John is a great host and was very accommodating to our needs.

Amazing getaway for an anniversary trip! We hit some of the wineries nearby but mostly stayed glued to the hot tub and fire pit on the back deck. Already planning the next time we can get back

David's place in Kingsville was the perfect getaway retreat. The house was immaculate and looked like it could be featured in a magazine. There were lots of games and activities to enjoy including outdoor hot tub, cozy firepit, top of the line grilling station, TV's with Netflix/Disney+/etc. in the main living area and bedrooms, a games area with old school record player and a media room with comfy couches. Location wise it was close to the lake and downtown area and David offered some great suggestions for local breweries, wineries and restaurants. While the weather was not the best during our stay, David ensured our safety by having the driveway and steps shoveled during our stay. I would highly recommend a getaway at David's place. A++++++

We visited Point Peele National Park and stayed at Janet's place for 3 nights. The location is super convenient - only 20 minutes from the park (and also 5 minutes from Hillman Marsh!). The place is very spacious and the surrounding is peaceful and serene.

Jamie’s place was a great spot for our getaway with amazing views and great location to the beach! We enjoyed our stay! Bed was super comfy and bathroom was luxurious!! We will return!

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

Great simple place for our group. Boat ramps were close. Plenty of parking. No troubles and comfortable.

It was a comfortable, cozy place to stay! We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit on a cold night and walking to Massie Cliffside Preserve early in the morning with our coffee. Would recommend anyone stay here.

We have wanted to visit Pelee Island for a very long time and so for my husband birthday we decided to come! All we were interested in doing was just to chill. The home was so perfect for our stay, Shelley was amazingly accommodating and we highly recommend The Cottage House. We look forward to another time here!

great spot on the island. you really get to be in the center of everything and feel entirely alone with full privacy.

I loved this air bnb!!! It’s the perfect location away from the downtown area. Very easy to get to downtown with the $3/person taxi service put in bay offers. The cabin was private and peaceful and slept everyone comfortably.

Absolute five star experience. Those that grew up on the water will appreciate the level of detail these hosts put in to providing a fantastic lake cottage experience. The space is quaint, but every detail was considered and executed to perfection. I’m wary of providing too good of a review, lest the secret of this perfect getaway gets out and we cannot book this again in the future. If you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway weekend, this is the spot for you. Many thanks to Paul and his team for making our weekend exactly what we hoped for.
