An absolute gem of a place. Looks like a lovely little old cottage on a busy road from the outside and it is! However once inside you really do get a country cottage feel. The real open fireplace was fabulous in the evening. The little quirky country cottage garden was blissful with a choice of sitting areas. It was lovely sitting outside in the sunshine on the Sunday morning listening to the church bells from the beautiful medieval church, which is just at the back of this lovely little cottage. We will definitely be back!

Perfect house for a small group to attend a folk dance event nearby, couldn't have been easier or better - many thanks and we'll look to come again!

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

We had the best stay here. Cannot rate it enough. Highlights - gorgeous wood fire - “best pies ever eaten” at lovely pub a stones throw away - lots of sheep! Pictures don’t do it justice. Will hopefully book again!!!

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

Cottage located on smallholding where you are entertained by the hens, cockerels, pigs and sheep! Feels remote and peaceful but within 10 mins drive of amenities. One bathroom, which was very accessible for someone with mobility issues. Lovely treats awaiting us on arrival. A warm welcome and great communication from hosts!

I would say this is probably the best place i’ve stayed for a night away. The Nook was so homely and made it feel like such a treat. We kindly were greeted with pastries, a bottle of prosecco and some chocolates which was lovely! We cooked dinner and the wide range of cooking utensils made this very simple and easy to do. The hot tub was perfect, and we especially liked the outside fairy lights when it was dark. Thank you for having us to stay- we definitely would reccomend and would love to come to stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay for a birthday weekend. Lovely place with amazing surroundings. Communicated well with clear instructions and good recommendations for the local areas aswell.

The accom is well set out with all the mod cons for a weekend. The communal area outside looked fab but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side so we didn't get to use it.

Our 3rd visit. As always the loft is a home away from home. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect location to explore the lake district. Will definitely be staying again the future 😃

We had a lovely few days staying at Lesley and Jez’s lovely little accommodation. The place was spotless and such a great location to wonder down the canal and into Bingley. We wouldn’t hesitate in booking up again in the future.

A beautiful place to stay in a stunning area. The accommodation is exactly as described or maybe even nicer. Amazing amenities, beautiful and spacious room, living room/kitchen and bathroom. Location is beautiful and quiet. Perfect for walkers or those looking for a few quiet days in the countryside. Cannot recommend highly enough

We had an amazing time at this place, it was peaceful and the view is absolutely amazing. The old post house is fully stocked, we felt like every detail was thought about and Mike was a lovely and responsive host. Highly recommend

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Just returned from an overnight stay at Mark’s place. This is the second time I’ve stayed and both times have been great. The annex is just as described on the photos and has everything required. Lovely little gem of a place ☺️

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

Really enjoyed our stay, the views of the lake was peaceful and calming. Only advice I would say is make sure to bring bug spray as once it starts getting dark they’re out in force. But that’s not a complaint as we still loved our stay

There are no words to sum up the weekend which we have had to celebrate my mums 50th birthday. All of the touches made this the most beautiful luxurious home from home made perfect by Charlotte. We will definitely be back ♡

Me and my wife came here for a mini moon after getting married in November....and wow this place is exactly what we needed. Such a quite area with a local pond so were watching the local wildlife in the morning with a brew. The cabin was exactly what was described in the pictures and it was an absolutely beautiful cabin! The security as well was a plus, felt so safe there. We had a fire pit as well which was lovely to sit around and just chill out! Our little 7 month old pooch also loved the cabin and grounds, lots of exploring to do! The only bad thing i would say is that i wish i had booked more days there, we will definitely be back to the cabin, its our little home from home! Thank you to the hosts who helped us out with providing the fire wood, very attentive to everything! Thank you so so so much for this little stay!! Be seeing you! This was a gem of a find! The lodge was amazing, clean, warm and peaceful. The surroundings just made it. Our children had such a lovely time and Lauren even took them to feed the animals on the farm. We even had a visit to the cabin from their horse, which only made things even more exciting for my daughter. Clean and modern cabin with lots of little extras making a cosy few nights away.

Thank you for an amazing weekend getaway, Adam was very helpful and helped us locate a shop with coal as soon as I’d text him 🙏🏻 and his wife was very pleasant and made sure we where comfortable and had everything we needed.
