We spent New Year's at Julie’s cabin, and it was a wonderful experience. The cabin was very clean, and Julie, the host, was incredibly responsive to our requests, even when I asked her a late-night question on our first night. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

the host was great to communicate with. very nice guy. very quiet community. great location. the bedsheets could be replace more often so it doesn't smell. The sauna broke down on us. besides that the place is great

This is the second weekend we stayed at this house and we love it, the mornings on the deck watching the deer and turkeys is so peaceful. Hot tub at night was very enjoyable, hopefully we will back in the near future

We had so much fun on our Black Hills adventure. We loved that the location of this cabin was so close to all the main destinations. The kids had a blast playing in the creek and spotting deer. The home worked perfectly for what we needed. Thank you!

The house was as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment we needed. The views were amazing and we saw a few deer wandering around, too. We would definitely recommend - it was perfect for a group of six (3 adult couples), with room to spare!

We took our large family here for our Christmas get together and it was PERFECT!! The layout accommodated our family PERFECTLY and the bar area was GREAT for our adult late night gatherings while the younger children were sleeping! The scenery was beautiful and felt very secluded....although it is only a few minutes from town! Scott was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful! We do these trips every year and this is DEFINITELY a place we would consider staying at again!

Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in!

It was the 2 time staying in Custer during the rally. The 3 of us agreed it was the best. It was so comfortable and relaxing when we were at the cabin It was the best night sleep the beds are great!!! I would highly recommend the cabin & next time I hope to rent this place again!!!

Better than what we expected! It’s clean, comfortable, and cozy. It has everything that we needed for our two-night stay. We’re so happy to find this pet-friendly property. The host is so kind and accommodating. It’s a great place to bed down while visiting Badlands or as a stop over. Highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay in the tiny house. We fixed our breakfast and sat at the kitchen bar in front of the window and watched the wildlife. So relaxing. It was close to the main attractions. Kristi had a basket fixed for us with brochures of the many places to see. Would come back.

They couldnt have been better hosts. when my son felt sick Bruce sent feel better wishes. Very friendly. Will help at a moments notice. pool was clean. restraunt great. just a peaceful quiet relaxing place. have been there 2 yrs in a row and will return again. Thanks Bruce!!!!

Everything about Scott's slice of heaven is fabulous! Words fail the mission of describing how very perfect it actually is so let me just say, if you are going to that area & do not stay at Bale & Butterfly, we cannot be friends. Great Cozy cabin. Kitchen has a nice selection of essentials supplies. May want to bring paper plates/cups if you have kids and don’t want to use glass dishes. Bring your own Hot Tub towels if larger then 5 are staying, if you would like everyone to have their own as they only supply enough for how many it holds. Clubhouse was great addition but the location is down the hill and around the corner, not adjacent/across the street. Be prepared for steep driveway and lots of stairs. Quick drive to town and Terry Peak.

Excellent value and totally as described/pictured! Communication was great and the electronic deadbolt worked easily. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. There were a couple nit-picky things that could have been better: Several dishes in the cabinets were clearly not washed, not a light in the place had a dimmer (we ended up unscrewing a bunch of bulbs to compensate), and the steam room in the clubhouse doesn't work (big bummer for me). But overall we had a great time and would recommend!

We had a great stay, the cabin was everything we expected it to be. It was very beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and very clean.

Everything was so perfect in this private cabin in Lead! Loved all of the cozy additions like the fireplaces, hot tub, and kitchen amenities to cook. It was clean, easy to locate and instructions were clear. An amazing choice for anyone looking to stay in the area!

The cabin was beautiful and worked perfectly for our family of 7. Every family had their own floor and bathroom which was so convenient and gave everyone enough space. Instructions for check-in and check-out were very clear. We loved the cabin decor and fun, local touches.
