Lovely spacious period property which is in a great location. Close to train station and Lancaster center. Situated on a quiet street with parking and parking permit supplied by host. Contact with the host was faultless throughout our stay. I would definitely return if in the area again.

Beautiful little house, it was the perfect size for me & my dog. It was quiet with private parking. The host had a little welcome pack for the dog, which was so cute and perfect! Thank you so much! Hoping to return in the near future, and will definitely be recommending to family & friends!

Lovely place to stay for a large family get together. Lots of space in the big beautiful house. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a great local pub that does a lovely Sunday dinner! Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

We booked Simon's place for a family weekend to celebrate my Dad's 70th. It was the perfect home from home for us, but with added luxury! It's a beautiful house with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Board games, kitchen utensils, plenty of towels - every last detail had been thought of, and didn't go unnoticed. Simon was flexible with check-in, and we were fortunate to meet him when we were leaving, to thank him for an amazing stay. The pictures don't quite do it justice - it's a stunning property, ideal location and views to die for. Won't hesitate to stay again. We got balloons delivered from a nearby company, and a supermarket shop delivery too. My nephews are 5 and 7, and my parents turning 70 - we all loved it - even the dog who's not quite 1! Book it - you'll not regret it!

Alan's place is ideal for a couple. so close to the shops. 10min walk to lake. comfortable bed. two settees to lounge. would definitely stay again

We had a lovely stay in the Lakes, the apartment was beautiful with amazing views. Great location, we enjoyed a lovely walk up to The Old Man and then enjoyed an evening in the hot tub. Would definitely come back!

We had the most amazing time. The apartment was fantastic, well equipped. The pool was lovely and a massive hit with my 8 year old. We had lovely meals at the on site restaurant and the staff were lovely. The grounds of whitbarrow are honestly lovely. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Great location for activities, we visited Rookin Activity Centre and did horse riding and quad biking, which was great. We will be back

Excellent communication throughout and lively location

We had a lovely few nights away at Steve’s place and had everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The flat is within close walking distance to Keswick town centre and we always managed to find parking on the street outside. We couldn’t fault anything at all and Steve was very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. Many thanks!

We loved our stay at the rural retreat over Christmas, made more special with some cute decorations and a little gift on arrival which was a lovely touch. The place is set back from the road in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our dog loved it too, especially as it’s so close to many convenient walks. Cath and Simon were amazing hosts and so accommodating and friendly. We hope to be back soon when visiting family again!

lovely, clean flat with everything you need. host had great communication, very helpful. the hot tub is huge! brilliant for the price. the only thing I would say is that you are very aware of the level of noise you make when in hot tub considering how residential the surroundings are, but it wasn't a negative in any way for us. it is a four in a block flat, and we heard nothing at all from neighbours. it's very handy for local shops, can easily get food deliveries. all round a great weekend.

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Thank you so much for facilitating the perfect family weekend away to celebrate a birthday and some quality time together. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

We had a great time at the Lake District staying in Glyn's apartment. Glyn provided clear instructions, was quick to respond, left us some treats and sent recommendations our way. The apartment has two balconies, so you can enjoy the sun in both the morning and the evening! One of the balconies has a lovely, relaxing view over a stream. The apartment is in a great location with places to explore within walking distance and Windermere being a short drive away. It's a great place to stay if you're planing on exploring the Lakes!

Jayne has been a fantastic host and started our trip off with Cookies and Cava!! The apartment was easy to find, modern and clean as a whistle. The fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher was fantastic to cook in and easy some excellent music! The bedroom and bathroom were comfy and clean with enough room to spread out in. Thank you for an excellent staycation.

2nd time using this accommodation in past 8 months. Its very comfortable, well presented and well equipped. Everything has been thought of, there is even provision for a baby. A varied choice for a continental breakfast also a few tins of food, beans, soup etc. A fab chippy directly opposite the property, and Tesco 5 minute walk away. Better than and a more reasonable cost than a hotel. Will definitely use again

Probably the easiest overnight stay I've had anywhere! Welcoming, easy to find and access and with all amenities nearby communicated from the start. Ray was able to accommodate us slightly earlier than booked time and allowed a slightly later checkout which was perfect for our family gathering. Extremely clean and tidy and presented really. Communication was fantastic and extremely prompt. Silky smooth experience and highly recommended! 😉

Me and my patenter loved our stay at little 20- we felt right at home! Very comfortable bed which was good after lots of walking, close to bars and restaurants in Windermere! We also used the free access to the spa and gym which was great whilst it rained- would definitely recommend a stay at little 20 :) thankyou Linda & Mike !
