Beautiful little house, it was the perfect size for me & my dog. It was quiet with private parking. The host had a little welcome pack for the dog, which was so cute and perfect! Thank you so much! Hoping to return in the near future, and will definitely be recommending to family & friends!

The cottage is very well-equipped, with everything you need to rustle up a three course meal - plenty pots, pans, roasting tins, utensils and a huge six seater dining table. It’s really easy to organise supermarket deliveries but only a 10-12 minute drive (Carlisle) if you’d rather pick things up yourself. The location is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of great dog walks close at hand. If you’re feeling less energetic you can relax in the cosy lounge or sit upstairs in the seating area of the master bedroom with amazing panoramic views of the countryside (thanks to the floor to ceiling windows). Sharu was an absolutely lovely host - extremely responsive and ever so helpful, yet completely unobtrusive; allowing me the space to enjoy my stay. I would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again when visiting the area

Amazing home 🌸 we had a 1 night stop over while travelling to Scotland for our daughter’s wedding. Everything was as described and more…the only thing I would say is the house is much bigger than it looks in photos, it’s fabulous 🌸

The cottage was exactly as described. The owners were very communicative and we had no issues during our stay at all. It is a great location, nice and quiet very close to Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Wonderful place in a perfect location of Keswick. A short walking distance to the shops and the lake. Certainly enjoyed taking the dog out for his walk with all the parks near by and a stroll to see beautiful views of Derwent water. The beds were comfy and the place was nice and cosy. A good variety of entertainment in games and books for the kids as well as ourselves. Having our own parking space was very convenient. We saw a lot of cars taking forever looking for one. I will definitely look at staying again when we next visit 😀

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

I spent a long weekend at Simon and Belinda’s place in Chapel Stile. They were abroad during my stay, but this didn’t matter - their communication was excellent and the place was superb, with lots of local recommendations. Thanks, would certainly stay again.

Easy to locate, but couldn’t find the reception to check in, maybe worth putting a big sign up. Once checked in at the pub/restaurant, which was lovely inside and had an outdoor seating area, where there was 3 deers wandering around, the staff were very welcoming and friendly On entering the estate it was clean, tidy, well spaced out and inviting. Our lodge was easy to find and could park right outside the door, making unloading the car a joy. The lodge was clean, spacious, warm when needed, well equipped, tastefully decorated, bath and shower in bedroom, we loved it. The hot tub was out of this world, it wasn’t warm, but hot! And the jets were powerful. I was floating around not a care in the world watching so many stars, as there’s no light pollution. If you’re going to eat at the restaurant, please go well before 7pm, as it closes Very early and we missed out. All in all, we would most definitely go back, for the lodge, hot tub, peacocks, deers, peacefulness and location.

Absolutely beautiful stay at Denise lodge. We’ve been to the site a few times before, but Denise lodge by the far most cosy we have been to. Absolutely immaculate, and so homely. Already planning our next trip. Thanks Denise xx

The cabin is very rustic, has everything you need-3 TVs including in both bedrooms/Netflix/utube/all TV channels/Games/Xbox-Alexa speaker-Kitchen is extremely well equipped-you just need to get an Air Fryer keep cooking costs down-beds very comfortable-a lot of thought has gone into the cabin and its facilities-The cabin sits on the largest slot on the site with a sloping wild garden, with some fantastic trees and a swing seat the views are very peaceful although my Arnie never got the chance to enjoy it my sons dogs did. There is a swimming pool and sauna on the site which was open but we simply didn't get the chance to use it and we could have had it to ourselves, were too busy out and about-Talbot bar at bottom of lane very dog friendly and met Dave the dog who sits on reception, free pool table also-loved feeding the wild bids each morning but wasn't a fan of the owl who was up and about each night-overall a little magical cabin and land it sits on. Will visit again-All the best PM

The apartment was perfect, everything as listed, a fully functional apartment, very quiet and peaceful, we had a brilliant weeks stay.

Lovely stay. Accommodation was clean and better than pictures. You are located directly outside the little pond with lots of ducks. We very much appreciated the duck food that was left for us to feed them. Sun rises right over the terrace area to enjoy the morning sun. Second bedroom is small but perfectly adequate as you are not in the room for more than sleeping and getting changed. Shower was hot with great pressure. Communication was speedy and friendly. Appreciated flexible check in / out time.

It was incredible!!! Stunning views, our stay could not have been any better. We all had a wonderful holiday. Pool, hot tub, tree house, lots of space for children to run and play football. Just fantastic. Thank you to Alan for coming to our aid when we put key into wrong door & got it stuck. Thank you David for everything!!!!

Superb, great location and wonderful host, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the lakes this is the place to go

we arrived late at night as a stop over for a very long journey from Noerh Scotland to London. it was hard ro find in the dark and the parking was tight but the flat was so so comfy. it was so welcoming, the place had been ade up to our needs so we didn't have to do anything when we arrived late at night. perfect place to stay with dogs. a little welcome box for our dog, crates and dog bowls, treats poo bags. Just ideal and our very anxious dog was very happy here. extremely helpful host. I would absolutely recommend staying here. any issues with the tight parking space were completely dismissed with the hospitality and the comfort we had here.

Another fabulous stay at the cottage. The place is spotless, well fitted and in a great position in the village. Alison is a brilliant host. Approachable , kind and helpful. Not much else to say other than if you are thinking of booking this just do it !

We had such a wonderful time here. The cottage is great with fantastic views. Our dog loved the garden which was very secure, the cottage was exactly as described with good quality furnishings and appliances etc. Kate was very friendly and happy to help. Lots of information provided on local walks etc., there are walks you can do from the cottage or a short drive will open many more options. We can’t wait to return for another peaceful, relaxing break!

The cottage was just perfect for what we needed. Great location to visit Skipton and up to Malham Cove. The accommodation was extremely clean and very cosy. Felt really at home and great to come back and relax after a days adventures. Mel and Jason were really helpful and responsive to all our questions. If we’re back in the area, we’d definitely look to book again. Thank-you ☺️

Wonderful place to stay for a chilled, romantic getaway. Views are incredible, essentials close by and plenty to do in the area. Amanda provided a more than detailed itinerary of what’s to be done in the area which proved beneficial. Place was clean and tidy with some complimentary chocolates and prosecco, can’t go wrong. Absolutely spot on, thanks!

myself and my dog max loved our few days of peace and quiet. Max was off leash the whole time as it was soo peaceful and with nothing and no-one around we could enjoy the gardens and hills in peace. The cottage was perfect for us for a few days away and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back x

Absolutely charming cottage, it looked even better in real life than the pictures. Spotlessly clean, lovely soft cotton bedding with basics in the kitchen. Beautiful, peaceful village in an excellent spot for exploring the surrounding Lake District.
