Fabulous house for a group or large family. Everything is so beautifully done and Melina is obviously an interior decorator because the small things mattered. Same single problem as every other reviewer is "the bells" {of the church, Igrela de Mexilhoeira} but Melina cannot do anything about that. Great accommodation, great location, great hostess.

Our stay in Casa Alegre was absolutely wonderful! Our two children (2 and 5) loved the swimming pool and all the toys. The house was well equipped and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and the view from the patio was very nice. Plenty of nice things to see and do in the area too! We can understand why so many people return here! Highly recommended.

Everything about our stay was great! Loved the hot tub and the location couldn't have been more perfect. 🤩

Amazing beach getaway for a individual or couple - particularly for surfers!! We had a fabulous stay, getting some much needed winter sunshine. The place was clean and very peaceful. The location was great, we were able to walk over with our surfboards and jump straight in to the waves.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped home. Rafael is responsive and very helpful. Although out of season we found several restaurants close by open. Beaches nearby also lots of places to walk. The weather was good so a great escape from UK for this time of year.

A very enjoyable stay. Thylbert was very welcoming and responsive when we needed help. Although we were staying out of season ( December) we were provided with wood for the fire, a gas heater and electric heaters to take the chill off the evenings.The accommodation is a few minutes walk from the centre of Silves. Lots of eating options. Parking is on the street but better to park at the bottom of the hill 3 minutes walk away. Beautiful coastline about 30 minutes away by car. Spent the days walking so didnt spend any time in the lovely garden.

We really enjoyed staying in this small but perfectly formed traditional apartment. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town, but on a very quiet street. Teresa was a great host and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The terrace was particularly nice, even in January!

L’arrivée est très facile et les hôtes sont très arrangeants. Fatiti a été très réactive aux messages envoyés. Le logement est très lumineux et spacieux, on s’y est très bien senti. Je recommande fortement !

I can’t say enough good things about Miguel and Isabelle’s apartment, everything was perfect! The place itself was absolutely beautiful and the location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. Miguel met us right outside the apartment and did a full tour upon entering. The bedrooms had everything you could need and really spacious, with great storage areas. Lots of bath towels and beach towels, as well as blankets and parasols. The hosts themselves were outstanding, any issues and Miguel was on hand to help us, with great response time. They also gave us fabulous recommendations, one of which we used and it was a great day! We can’t wait to come back to try their other apartments, it really was the most perfect holiday, so thank you!! ❤️

I had an amazing stay at Henrique’s place in Lagos that is located just outside the centre in a peaceful area. The house was super clean and cozy, and the terrace had a great view — perfect for morning tea or relaxing after a day of exploring. Henrique and his mother were helpful and kind, and Henrique gave us tons of recommendations in the town. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a comfortable spot with wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment in Sagres as a small family. It’s spacious, and although the furniture is a bit dated, it adds charm, and you can see the effort the owners put into maintaining it. Check-in was easy, and Liz and Virgilio, who live on the same property, were lovely hosts. They checked in regularly, brought fresh towels, cleaned the apartment after a week, and even arranged a playpen for our daughter. The outdoor space was perfect for our daughter to play in the shade, and she enjoyed watching the kittens explore the grounds. The location is excellent—most restaurants and beaches (Mareta and Tonel) are within walking distance or a short drive. A small note: one of the two adjacent rental rooms shares a wall with the bedroom, so you might hear neighbors. It didn’t bother us, but light sleepers might need earplugs. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back.

We had the most amazing month-long stay at this peaceful gem. The location is incredibly serene, perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind, yet everything is easily accessible by car. Lagos is just a 13-minute drive away, which made exploring the area so convenient. And Luz.. It’s the coziest and most beautiful little town we’ve visited in Portugal. The home itself was perfect and had everything we needed for a long stay. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Our house was cleaned every week, which was such a nice touch, and there was plenty of storage space throughout, so we always felt organized and comfortable. The beds are huge and pretty comfy, making it easy to rest after a day of exploring. Wifi was good, so a big plus for remote workers like us. One of the highlights was the outdoor space and swimming poool. The terrace is fantastic for lounging, and we used the grill several times for BBQs. Peaceful atmosphere, combined with friendly dog

Malheureusement, je n’ai pu séjourner dans l’appartement de Tanja car, le chauffage était brisé, c’était froid et il lui a été impossible de trouver rapidement un réparateur, j’ai dû galérer pour trouver un autre endroit et déménager. Malgré tout cela, Tanja m’a fait un remboursement total incluant la première nuit que j’avais passée dans son appartement. J’étais déçue car, l’appartement était très bien équipé, bien situé et avait une belle terrasse au sud, ce sont des choses qui arrivent. Tanja a fait tout ce qu’il pouvait pour régler en vain le problème. Je recommande cet appartement avec cet hôte très à l’écoute et ce bel appartement. Merci Tanja ☺️

It’s hard to say just a few words. we love the apartment so much we could see ourselves living in it. wonderfully laid out, wonderfuly decorated, artistic. Two small terraces are a wonderful addition. And for a chilly January they found wonderful ways to help us warm up the apartment. Also, it’s a great location for exploring all of Lagos from the old town to the beaches and the Cliffs overlooking them.

This is a lovely property. Brian dealt very quickly with the couple of small problems we had on arrival. A car is needed as the complex is in a spot with no pavements. Gardens, pool etc all immaculate and underground parking was great. Internet was a bit hit and miss

Couldn’t fault our stay in Susana’s place; me and my husband stayed for a week but it would be spacious enough to accommodate a small family. Location was perfect for us, with both the marina and old town walkable within 15 minutes (although hilly which was good exercise). Plenty of restaurant choices nearby and Susana provided lots of local recommendations which is always appreciated. Amenities within the flat were above average, allowing us to be flexible and providing us opportunity to stay in some evenings. Having the two balconies is also a real perk and allows you to catch sunshine for the majority of the day. Overall, a wonderful apartment with a responsive and accommodating host - would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely home away from home.

Our check in was easy & loved being greeted! Place was easy to find, clean, kitchen was very well supplied! Location was in a quiet location but super close - all walking distance to all restaurants, the boardwalk, bars & grocery stores. Parking was great! You won’t be disappointed!

We, a family of four, had a great time at Carolina‘s apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and we got everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the large balcony and enjoy the gorgeous view over the beach and coastline. The beach is very close and it was easy and quick to get there with the Kids and Play in the Sand. Carolina was always helpful, Kind and easy to communicate with. We can definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back one day.

First time abroad as a family of four with young children. Location was fantastic great views of the beach and town. Everything in a walkable distance but still felt very private. Lisa was a great host and the commination was fantastic. Already planning our next trip, can't wait to come back. Matt

Die Wohnung ist eine der besten die ich jemals über Airbnb gebucht habe. Sauber, hell und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Selbst ein Tiefgaragenstellplatz ist vorhanden. Die Lage zum Hafen ist auch sehr schön, es gibt gute Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zu Frühstücken. Auch in der Stadt oder am Strand ist man in circa 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Herausheben möchte ich Edite, unsere Gastgeberin. Sie ist immer zu erreichen und hat uns bei jedem Problem innerhalb kürzester Zeit geholfen, selbst als wir uns an Weihnachten ausgesperrt haben mit zwei kleinen Kindern. Die Wohnung und die Gastgeberin bekommen von uns eine 11/10! :)

Loved everything about this place. Quiet, private apt. Excellent location - 5 mins to restaurants/suoermarket/beach. Appt. Was really well equipped. Exactly as the photos showed. We will definitely rebook this apartment again. Thank you Manuel and Ines.
