Barry's place is impeccably clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, including exposed brickwork and decor paying homage to the historic port city of Manistee. Kitchen is brand new, spotless, and well appointed with glassware, dishes , & utensils, appliances, and coffee station. As a guest, we were want for absolutely nothing. Bathroom is likewise new and spotless. Beds & bedding are very clean and comfortable. Barry provided very easy to following directions to the apartment, where to park, how to enter, and easy easy TV viewing. He rightfully suggests parking out front upon arrival to carry luggage in the front door and up (straight) stairwell into the apartment. The spiral staircase at the back where you park overnight is fine, would just be a challenge with luggage in tow. We absolutely recommend and will return. Literally the only thing we missed was eating out on the deck and watching boats & the occasional freighter passing thru the channel (we were here in March).

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the Flip Flop Inn in October 2024 with my husband and 2 year old son. The Flip Flop Inn was exactly as described and a great place for a family to stay. Stacey even had a baby gate and child lock on the cabinets. The tub worked well for bathing a toddler and for adult shower. The space was very clean, warm on cold nights, and was a nice private space. Not sharing a wall with anyone else meant we did not have to worry about toddler noise waking others. The area was very quiet and we slept well. The host was very responsive when we had questions. The Airbnb is about a 10-15 minute walk or short drive to Beulah restaurants and the town public beach. US 31 is very close and it's within 45 minutes of Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes, 10 minutes from Frankfort and Lake Michigan, and 10 miles from Crystal Mountain. Accessibility note: the Airbnb is located up one flight of stairs and the 6 foot long path from parking to the door is slightly uneven.

This was our second stay at this Airbnb and we will definitely be back! We love the location and how close everything is especially the brewery right next door! Dan was very responsive and a great host!

Second time I have stayed with Ron and Judy. I always feel at home and so loved. They always look out for me and make sure I am ok and if I need anything. Even checked on my oil leak in my car I did not know I had. Their place is always beautiful and just like the pictures ( I think better than the pictures). You could not ask for a better host. Your Peaches will be back soon.

Felicia's rental unit is better than the photos! :) It is peaceful, calm, and in a picturesque part of Manistee. The unit has great windows: in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. There is so much great natural light that makes this place feel extra special and homey. Spacious and comfortable. Comfortable bed and furniture. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Relaxing bathtub. I stayed here for a long weekend as a solo traveler, and I can't wait to return for another stay. It would be a great place for a longer stay as well. Felicia was a proactive and gracious host. She thoughtfully provided pasta and sauce to cook (which I used!). She also let me park in the driveway during the snowy weekend, which was much appreciated. Lovely stay! Can't sing enough praises!

Exactly as described and very homey. Everything was clean and I had everything I needed. Location was great. The sunsets on Lake Michigan were 5 minutes away. Thanks for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

Beth and Keegan were great hosts! Very responsive, friendly, accommodating, and even let our ESA come along. They assisted us with early check in and late check out times! Hot tub was amazing, beautiful location. We were so pleased with our stay and are planning to return in the summer! Amazing venue.

This was our second year staying at this location for our annual girls weekend. The house was very clean. We did not have any issues that came up during our stay, so I didn’t need to contact Jason, but he is a very responsive and courteous host. I asked him for an early check in and he responded within a couple of minutes with an approval. We will definitely stay here again next year!

This was our 2nd time staying at Chris’s place. It really IS perfect. We like to relax and spend time with family and friends in this space. The kitchen was stocked and we found it easy to Prepare meals. The appliances were up to date. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean.

We had a wonderful three generation family vacation at this home. It is well organized and supplied. All light switches labeled which I have never seen before in an AirBnB but so appreciated to not have to run around guessing. The bikes were plentiful with tons of options. They are repaving the bike path right now and we look forward to coming back and using it! Short walk to the beach. Great backyard space for kids to play. Games, linens, bottled water, appliances plentiful. Our favorite part was big tables, both kitchen AND on the deck that fit our whole family in one place. What a treat! A wonderful stay. Thank you!

Nice place, in the kitchen area it would have been nice for more comfy seating to sit around and drink coffee but otherwise nice place

Paul was great. Responsive and helpful. Had a couple of questions about how things worked while we were there and he responded within minutes. Solid sleeping for 10 without pullouts.

Nicole was an amazing host! She communicated all the instructions and information clearly and was very easy to communicate with. The property was beautiful and very well taken care of. I would highly recommend this property to anyone ☺️

Overall, excellent choice for us for the first leg of our golf trip at Arcadia Bluffs.

Bob is a great host! This was our 3rd year staying at the Book Mark, we will be back next year for our annual fall get away!! The coffee & smoothies are fabulous, the baristas are so nice and helpful, the 10% discount on items in the bookstore is a great benefit and we try to take advantage of it each time we stay! Wonderful! Charlie and Suzy’s place was very clean and perfect views! The fireplace is such a nice touch and our family had a great time in the heated pool and hot tub! We loved watching the surfers that were braving the cold water! Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay here over New Year’s Eve! It was the perfect location and we felt right at home! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. All of the appliances as well as the washer and dryer were clean and the extra blankets and linens were great to have on extra cold nights! We are local to the area and wanted to stay close to downtown. This is definitely a condo we will rent again in the future. We did have a few questions during our stay and they were really quick at responding and very friendly. The condo overall felt very much like home and had lots of extra comforts such as pillows, blankets, board games etc and didn’t at all feel like a bare bones kind of Air B &B.
