For our family vacation, three couples and a 1-year old, the place was perfect. The ability to spend the heat of the day in the huge pool or inside the refreshing lodging made the stay excellent. The place is close to groceries, pharmaceuticals, restaurants, local sites, cities, etc. Ken was always responsive to whatever issue we brought up and his quick replies were greatly appreciated.

We delighted in our stay at Marcelo's place. His and Donna's renovation of a medieval, in-town house is impeccable. A substantial degree of professional interior design is evident in the minimalism, yet all works flow historically. The lower-level spa and sauna are hedonistic yet blend beautifully with the rustic ambiance. The technology underlying the works is largely absent from view - yet functional. The first floor features a kitchen which will not disappoint an avid chef. The sitting area is minimalist but softened by clever, "soft" upholstery choices, cushions and comforting throws. Selective sculpture and objects d'art complete the picture. The surface treatment of walls is superb, as if revealing centuries of habitation in layers, each agreeing with one another in terms of tone and pallet. The rendering and paint work is first rate. For the aesthete and practical traveller alike, Marcelo's place offers a considered, curated view into the past embraced by the present.

Pour nous dépayser le temps de quelques jours, ce Airbnb était parfait. La villa est magnifique, la vue incroyable, et l'ile paradisiaque. Fabrizio nous a envoyé un lot d'instructions claires par message lors de la réservation, qui ont été très utiles. Stefano a su nous aider a chaque fois que nous lui avons demandé. Merci a lui pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité. Dans ce Airbnb, tout est pensé pour qu'on ai juste a poser nos bagages et profiter. On vous récupère au ferry en début de séjour, et on vous y remmene en fin de séjour. Vous avez un véhicule prêté sur place. Il y a tout le linge nécessaire. L'île est vraiment belle, avec des plages de sable blanc, un escalier taillé dans la roche qui mène jusqu'à l'eau (au phare), des petits villages pleins de charmes, et des sentiers de randonnées très sympas ! La villa est d'ailleurs au départ d'un sentier. Nous vous conseillons de réserver une soirée pour aller voir le coucher de soleil a Campese, en terrasse ou sur la plage.

Very nice and classic villa. Great for big family or group of friends who want to spend time together and also have privacy. The yard is amazing. The hot tub is great for cold days. The location is in the middle of the hills wineries which is beautiful but do take in mind every ride to any town is at least 20-30 minutes down and up the hills.

Wir waren Ende September für 8 Tage in der Unterkunft. Federica, die Lage, das Haus, die Anlage ums Haus waren einzigartig und sehr schön! Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohlgefühlt. Ein Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Frederica ist ein tolle Gastgeberin und Probleme hat sie und ihr Mann zügig gelöst. Wir hatten kurz Probleme mit der Toilettenspülung, Warmwasserversorgung und Heizung-alle Themen wurden zeitnah behoben. Nahe der Unterkunft ist die Zugstation Orte, von dort fährt mehrmals ein Zug nach Rom, das kann ich nur empfehlen. Günstig, pünktlich (nicht wie die DB) und Rom ist eine Wucht! Unterkunft ist zu empfehlen und wir würden wieder buchen, falls es uns wieder in die Region verschlägt.

Susanna ci ha riservato una eccellente accoglienza. La casa immersa nella natura è bellissima e provvista di tutto il necessario per sentirsi a proprio agio. Il giardino ampio e recintato è perfetto per gli amici a quattro zampe che possono giocare liberi e senza preoccupazioni. La zona tranquilla e riparata dal traffico concede agli ospiti il giusto relax. Il centro è a meno di 5 minuti di macchina oppure si può raggiungere a piedi facendo una bella passeggiata nel verde della Maremma. I servizi - quali supermercati e locali - sono anch’essi a meno di 5 minuti. Eccellente.

Siamo stati una settimana ospiti di Tiziana ad agosto. Il soggiorno è andato benissimo. La casa è dotata di tutto ciò che può servire, il giardino è molto carino e la terrazza si piò sfruttare molto bene mangiando fuori praticamente sempre. La posizione della casa a mio parere è perfetta perchè permette di stare fuori dalla calca ma allo stesso tempo di raggiungere comodamente spiagge e paesi con pochi minuti di macchina. Concludo dicendo che Tiziana è stata un' ottima host, sempre disponibile per qualsiasi necessità o richiesta di informazioni.

This small old house in the 12th-13th century medieval village is tastefully furnished and excellently equipped. We think the two bathrooms are a big bonus, it was very useful for us. In addition, we would highlight the equipment of the kitchen and the quality of the bed mattresses.The host lady lives right next to the accomodation, a few steps away, which gives security. She was very flexible and patient with our late arrival. You can only park a little further from the house, but it seemed safe and a short walk would not hurt.Overall, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic stay.

Such an amazing place. On the top floor with beautiful views over Siena. Lucia stocked up the refrigerator with water, juice boxes & beer and the cupboards with some light breakfast toasts, jam & Nutella. It was quiet and peaceful, no need for the earplugs we always carry. There are 4 flights of stairs to climb to get to the unit.
