If you are lucky enough have found this place, then look no further! This house not only has some of the most incredible art from around the world inside, but the building itself is a work of art! Not only does it have everything you need, but it has all the things you didn't know you needed, like a shower and surfboard storage near the front door for rinsing off after the beach, or a half-court basketball court. The private access to the public waterfall is worth the price of admission alone. We walked down there in the mornings and evenings when fewer to no people were there and were able to meditate and swim in peace. You can also walk up river away from the public scene for peace and beauty all day long. You have complete peace of mind knowing that there is a guard by the gate 24/7, and no neighbors within sight. The only thing you can see surrounding the house is fruit trees, friendly jungle wildlife, and an ocean view of the whale's tail. If you needed a reason to book^^

Loved the neighborhood and walking distance to healthy little grocery store. The store is expensive but convenient. The place needs AC for the kitchen and the same key for room and kitchen but overall was beautiful. The pool was very nice too.

Gabriel and Verena were absolutely wonderful! We are so glad for having had the opportunity to get to know them and their sweet little spot. This stay was the height of pura vida. Communication throughout was excellent. Verena reached out with some guide recommendations that worked out very well for us. There was unseasonably heavy rain the day we got there and they reached out to make sure we knew an alternate route so that we wouldn’t get stuck in the mud. Gabriel even biked through the puddles to help us find the way! During the stay, they were the perfect combination of respectful of space but approachable. It was much appreciated that Gabriel went out of his way to connect with our teen. The place was cute and just what we hoped for. The outdoor space had all the basics we needed. The beds were clean and comfy and the AC worked well. We took Gabriel up on the surf lesson and it was a highlight of our trip! Overall, this place is a gem!

Tolles AirBnB-Zimmer in einer Hotelanlage. Sehr toller und grosser Balkon mit super Blick über den Garten und das Meer. In Mitten von Tieren und wunderbarer Vegetation. Tolle hoteleigene Trails und sehr schöner Poolbereich. Sehr gutes Essen und freundliches Personal. Sehr schnelle Reaktion auf Fragen und sehr hilfreiche Hinweise. Sehr empfehlenswert !

Amazing stay at Casa Citrina. We spent 8 days in paradise. The views are truly breathtaking! It is not easy to get to the house but 100% worth it. The trek up the mountain takes about 20 mns. We arrived at night and got lost as there was zero visibility. Highly recommend arriving during the day if possible as Lori mentions in her listing. We were a party of 5, 3 adults, one child (age 4) and 1 infant (17 months). Everything we needed was at the house for us to enjoy. Swimming in the heated pool was the best; we didn’t want to get out. Getting to nearby beaches and waterfalls was easy. Lori is a wonderful host! Super responsive before & during our stay. Martin the caretaker is also wonderful. We had chef Juan Pablo Alvarez cook meals for us on multiple days. Fantastic food, service and amazing people. Highly recommend them! We cannot wait to go back to enjoy this special home and location again!

Die Unterkunft war sauber, sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum wunderschönen Uvita Strand. Außerdem war es sehr sicher.

Si piensas llevar suministros tienes que comprarlos antes de llegar al lugar ya que es bastante limitado el comprar suministros. El agua caliente es intermitente por ratos Si eres una persona alta tienes que tener cuidado al bajar las gradas. El lugar muy lindo excelente para descansar , muy tranquilo, mucha paz, ver el cielo desde la segunda plata en las noches es precioso, Osvaldo muy atento a los mensajes y ofrece los servicios cercanos bastante bien

This place is a gem. It was our last of 4 stops and we assumed it would be more of the same, but this was a stand out. The pool was the best part, with the wildlife surrounding it a close second. The howler monkeys woke us up every morning and were napping and lounging in the trees in the backyard all day. Toucans and Macaws were nesting back in the wood-line as well. Massi’s instructions were extremely thorough and clear, and the added benefit of having Nelly around the corner to do laundry was amazing. Highly recommended finding playa del Arco if you stay here - it was stunning.
