We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

This was a convenient location for our visit to our family nearby, and for our visits to the area. Shinly communicated with us before and during our visit. The flat had a good range of facilities, and was as advertised. We would be very pleased to stay there again if on a future visit.

Soon Lye’s place was perfect for our family of 4. The apartment is very spacious – way more than what we expected. It is very nicely decorated, and you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay (the washer and filter water were a big plus for us). Great location on Chulia Street, one of the most popular streets in Georgetown. You can easily walk to all the main sights. Plenty of places to eat around. Soon Lye was a super host. He let us have an early check-in and a late check-out, which were so much appreciated, and he was always very quick to reply to any of my queries. Thank you for everything Soon Lye!

Amazing place to stay, beautiful seaview and wake up to see the sunrise. Very clean and tidy, the host is very helpful and kind. 5 star accommodation!

I really really enjoyed my stay even for a few hours 🥰 Host: Sunny was truly so kind for letting me book a place for a few hours rest. I arrived early morning from my flight and needed a place to crash until my next flight in the evening. He was so accommodating and understanding. Sunny also recommended a few places nearby for food 😍 they were good! Place: The unit was gorgeous. Impeccably clean, neat and tidy. And the BED. Omg the bed and the pillows… I almost missed my flight cuz I was so comfy. I'm not even kidding. And the little things? Like the soap and shampoo actually smelled amazing and didn't feel like that weird, cheap hotel stuff. Plus, he even had conditioner! I cannot live without them cuz my hair would go frizzy. I know this may not seem like a big deal to some but he even had good quality toilet paper 😍 Honestly, it was all just perfect. I can't wait to come back and actually stay longer next time. Highly recommend!! Clear and fluid communication throughout the entire stay. Hosts were friendly and accommodating - they met all our needs and requests in a timely manner. We put the kitchen to full use for an entire week and it was easy to walk or Grab to get groceries or visit the beach. The complex was safe, quiet and, of course, the view was magnificent! We had a relaxed, effortless and beautiful stay in Batu Ferrenghi. Can't wait to return!

Great location! Walkable distance to gurney bay (in my opinion), I did walk to my work place. Clear instructions from Charles. I am really appreciate that Charles actually stayed up till 4am to wait for me. (Check-in). Great place and definitely will stay again during next trip here in Penang. Thank you!

Great place to stay for a big group. Walkable or short distance car ride to good restaurants, cafes and food courts.

Had a great time at this Airbnb. The home was perfect for my family of 14, we had enough beds to sleep in, clean room and toilets, had a great aesthetic and vibe to it. Even had baby crib and a baby bathtub for my nephew. Loved it overall and will definitely be back. Host even assisted me with 3 parking spots.

You felt right at home when you checked in. Love all about this home. Mairaz is indeed superhost. They provide the strong Wifi, you can work from this home. (wfh), you can do laundry, you can drink from the filtered water. aircind, water pressure all are good. thanks Mairaz.

Homestay very big and comfortable. We had some issue and the owner very responsive. On day 2 there is issue with water but then the owner very responsive and come to see our condition. The area is really peaceful and is few mins walk to karpal singh drive. Whole house is comfortable and has enough equipments like kitchenware, body shampoo and big garage. Very recommended 👍🏻

Gurney Resort était vraiment un très bel endroit pour séjourner à Penang, dans la périphérie de Georgetown. L'accueil s'est fait de manière très fluide, la procédure est vraiment très bien expliquée par Diana et chaque étape est bien précisée. La piscine est agréable avec une très belle vue, l'appartement est hyper fonctionnel, tout est disponible comme à la maison. Et tout est très propre et bien entretenu. Toutes les commodités sont accessibles à pieds. De beaux endroits pour prendre un brunch le matin. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Pricey Airbnb-friendly condo located next to Marriott hotel. Worth a stay since the views are exceptional and the location is quite central too. A unique property where on one hand you see the coast, and on the other, you see the city and Penang hill. Walkable to the nearby park where many people jog in the morning if you jaywalk across a busy road with the hand. Walkable also to nearby Gurney mall and food centres. Carpark is wide and spacious but look out for the corner mirrors. Toilets are flawlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable. Bath towels are excellent quality. Free mineral water is a nice touch. Only trouble is Netflix tv needs to be manually connected to wifi sometimes. Nearby are busy roads so opening the windows lets both air and sounds in. Not as windy as north facing units but that’s the trade off for sunrise apartments facing east.

The place is lovely. Great for a vacation. Beach is nice, night market is... well, night market-y, the pool is LOVELY, and the gym is great. Mostly quiet - watch out for holiday nights though, the traffic is a nightmare! The space is great, nice kitchen. Gary is very helpful! Grab works to get all your food delivered. So I would LOVE to live there forever... just a bit expensive once you know Penang prices for long term stay. So it is perfect for a vacation!
