Pictures did this stay no justice I was even better in person. Loved the barbershop theme!! Very clean and lots of space. Host was very responsive and left personal touches in the space. I hope I am able to stay here every visit. Great location. Walking distance to everything.

The photos almost do justice to the Douglas Munro Suite, but not quite. To get to the unit, you first walk through two secure doors that lead you into a beautiful beer garden. Next, you enter your own private door and climb up an old-fashioned staircase that opens up through the floor of the unit--a truly breathtaking introduction. After that, the gleaming hardwood floors, high barn-style ceiling, tall windows, four-poster bed, and light blue shabby-chic sofa do the rest to amaze you. The bed was *very* comfortable with a mattress topper and silky smooth sheets to envelop you completely. Snacks, coffee, local coffee-shop gift cards, etc were a welcoming plus. The TV, thankfully, was easy to operate for a couple in their 60's. Thank you, Donnie and Olivia, for allowing us to store our bikes in your lodge area. That was a real help! We would love to stay with you again on our next bike riding adventure in Elizabeth City.

This place is right in the heart of Downtown Elizabeth City, making it super convenient to explore on foot. The area is very walkable, and the unit itself was spotless, smelled great, and even had some thoughtful snacks waiting for us in the kitchen. A wonderful stay—highly recommend!

Enjoyed the stay…my wife and i moved to e city, she will be arriving soon, i needed a place to stay as i started a new job…gave me a chance to see what the city is like…great location

Cute little suite with comfortable bed and fun amenities like access to the gym and a small gift card to the local coffee shop. Owner was very responsive and it was super easy to checkin/check out. Easy walk to restaurants.

After many stays in "The Library", we booked a stay in the 'Secret Room" as this time we did not bring our dogs. Room is great! Though we didnt use it, the "kitchenette" was a nice surprise. Always a great stay with Donnie and Olivia. Make sure you book a stay on a Thursday night to take advantage of the "Biergarten", too! (especially if you like brats!).

This was the perfect place for my family to stay while in town for the Coast Guard marathon! There are two beds out in the open but they’re on opposite sides of the apartment so they don’t feel too exposed. The kitchen is spacious and they had great recommendations posted on the wall for where to eat and what to do. The location couldn’t be better, right on the water front and only a 3 minute walk from the start line! We’ll definitely stay again next year.

I really enjoyed my stay at Maureen‘s house. It’s on a nice quiet street in a good part of town and close to Elizabeth city and things you may want to do there. Love the big backyard for my dogs. Beds were super comfortable. I felt right at home and will definitely come back whenever I’m in the area.

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful, Comfortable, and Clean home. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, while close to all local sites and supplies for our needs. Communication from James and Karen was thorough and easy to follow, along with quickly responsive when we requested to extend our stay. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay at their home. To be able to rest and relax after many busy activities while visiting loved ones was a true blessing.

You can tell Aaron has put a lot of work into redoing this property. All of the facilities worked perfectly, and we never had an issue with the property during our 36 days stay. The back yard is peaceful! Aaron was always responsive and helped us with all of our questions that came up!

The place was perfect for us. We had our space, it was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed a canoe ride. The house was very comfortable.

We have stayed in a lot of AirB&B’s and VRBO’s over the years and we have never been in a home that had so much potential to be a superb destination!!!! The condo is very nice, functional, and super well-equipped (it looks just like the photos). Brad is very attentive and responds quickly. The instructions for entering the apartment and for check-out were very clear and straightforward. The location is very close to the water park, and our kids loved visiting it. The only thing to keep in mind regarding the location is that it takes 22 minutes by car to get to the nearest beach, and approximately 30 minutes to get to the beaches in Duck

Ms. Danita was so pleasant and made our trip for our college Homecoming worth while. Thank you again for our amazing and family style hospitality. I look forward to forward to staying there again in the future.

We enjoyed the stay at Taylors place in Elizabeth City. While it was peaceful during the weekdays, the nightlife is vibrant on the weekend days and a little bit of noise given the downtown area. Other than that, the condo is beautiful with gorgeous hardwood floors and bright light from the windows and relaxing vibes in the living area. Very nice place.

Cozy space, nice community, and AMAZING host. Super helpful and responsive to any questions or need. Overall great experience with this host!
