Frank and Martha’s place is super cute. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house has lots of open space and is a short drive to all the essentials. Frank’s and Martha were very communicative and accommodating leading up to my stay. Highly recommend!

Albermarle Waterfront

My family and I truly enjoyed the peace, natural beauty, cleanliness, and comfort here. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house and property are beautiful. Walking outside to sit on the private pier was wonderful. Highly recommend for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful getaway in nature. Seems like an ideal place to fish and kayak, maybe next time!

Stay Downtown On Historic Main St.

We have stayed at this airbnb several times. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and is always ready and clean. Donnie is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests. I particularly appreciate the photo attachments he sends to help clarify location instructions. Great host and location!

Waterfront Apartment with Private Beach, Sleeps 7+

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

Houseboat “Island Time”

Mechelle was an excellent host and ensured we were comfortable and familiar with all aspects of visiting her boat. Elizabeth City has a beautiful downtown, and her location is in walking distance to many great restaurants, wine bar and breweries. One brewery is next door, and we had a lovely time listening to the live band from the top of her boat. The band did continue to 1am, so if you aren’t a live music fan or are looking for an early bedtime…I would suggest earplugs for the chance you are there where in an event is going on at the brewery. We felt safe in the harbor and enjoyed watching the crew teams, boats, and wildlife as we drank our morning coffee using the provided k cups. We would highly recommend the experience of staying on one of Mechelle’s boats and hope to visit again!

My best friend and I spent 4 days here and loved every single second of it. The house was spotless, kitchen very well stocked, and that leather sofa in the living room facing the sound was everything we needed to catch up, knit, bird watch, and just reflect. It’s a lovely vacation home, but it is fairly rural so there are very few restaurants near by without going back into Edenton. Still…we came armed with groceries and an excellent bottle of bourbon. It was perfect.

Tranquility on the Sound

Tranquility was just what we were hoping for. The house and grounds are lovely and looked just like the photos. The view from the deck is amazing!! This is the perfect place to relax and unwind, which we did! Michael is a wonderful host, anticipating almost anything you might need. The house was spotless and has all the amenities you could ask for. It's also a great location for day trips to other areas. We couldn't have asked for anything more and would definitely stay there again.

River Shore Retreat

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

I have reserved this property twice for my employees and they now have been spoiled compared to the hotels they are accustomed to. They have done nothing but rave about this property. Looking to book here as early as next week again.

Newly Renovated Charming Edenton Retreat Sleeps 10

Our stay was for a work trip but it was the perfect location. Very nice, updated, & clean home. The private & peaceful outdoor space was a nice bonus as well. Very easy check in and check out, host was very responsive. Would highly recommend and we’ll be visiting again when we are in the area.

We had a great stay!! The house is charming, nice layout and in a great location. We enjoyed the hot tub and spent quality time on the front porch. I highly recommend this house. Great for a family or group of friends.

Peaceful Waterfront Cottage near Albemarle Sound

Was a welcome home away from...my group was not in town for pleasure and these hosts property was perfect for a home substitute while on the road for work. 3 grown men slept comfortably, had plenty of hot water and plenty of internet. Wish we had time to enjoy then surroundings...highly recommend this location.
