This is a beautiful home that is well-maintained. Amenities are abundant. Jennifer is quick to respond and will cater to your needs. We rented this place because our power went out. We were looking for something close with heat, running water and electricity. Jennifer accommodated an early check -in. Her husband ensured the sidewalk was clean from ice and snow. She had the heat on when we arrived. As the night went on, we found out that the furnace stopped working. She responded as quickly as she could. It was cold in the home, but the blankets and covers that were provided kept us amply warm. I couldn’t have asked for more friendly and accommodating hosts. I would book here again without hesitation.

This stay was absolutely lovely. We were looking for a last minute option to book when visiting family for Thanksgiving and this fit the bill perfectly. I loved seeing the birds and squirrels around the feeder! Would stay again :)

We had a great stay at the historic home in Mechanicsburg. Great location- awesome home.

Rowan’s old farmhouse was beautiful and clean. We were there to visit three area colleges, and the unique, historical feel of the home really added to the experience. There were scones, and fresh eggs and milk straight from the farm, waiting for us in the kitchen. There was plenty of room for our dogs to enjoy in the fenced back yard area. It was a lovey experience.

We really enjoyed this place. It was a great location and only 30 minutes from Hershey (which we also visited while there). The house was in a location that felt safe and clean. My daughter and I went for a walk on the sidewalk our first evening there. The back yard is fenced in and when out there you felt as though you were in our own secluded oasis. The house is older and quirky (that we all enjoyed), but has this comfortable charm about it. Our group enjoyed the air hockey table and the pool (even though it was 54 degrees and cloudy) that didn’t keep them from the pool. Brooks reach out before our arrival with check in information and was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying again when we visit the area.

Modern and comfortable home. Extremely comfortable beds. Very clean all around and exceptionally stocked kitchen. We hope to stay here again next time we’re in the area.

My daughter and I stayed at this lovely home while in the area visiting my sister. It was one of the best airbnbs we have been in - so clean and well-decorated. Restful and serene, with a beautiful view. We cooked breakfast and dinner each day in the well-supported, sparkling kitchen, and enjoyed daily drives throughout the countryside. This is by far one of the best Airbnb's that we have stayed at! Katie is very responsive and the description of her home is exactly how you will find it. Most importantly, her home is VERY clean! The kitchen if fully stocked with everything you will need (coffee, creamers, sugar, paper plates, fridge w/ ice machine, any spice that you can think of, etc.). We booked our stay to make sure that we were there for the opening day of trout season. Sherman's Creek runs right along the property and is right down the hill from the house. It was very convenient to be so close to the water. There were locals there fishing and they were extremely nice. It rained a little while we were out fishing, but with the house being so close, we were able to walk up the hill, throw our semi-wet clothing in the dryer, and head back out once the rain stopped. We will definitely return to Katie's property for another vacation. It was exactly what we needed. Privacy, wonderful views, and relaxation!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lake house, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view and peaceful atmosphere. There were only minor problems with the house being old. There was mouse poop but overall the host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with stunning scenery and all the comforts of home, this lake house is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!
