I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

We had a fantastic girls catch up weekend staying in Aaron's beautiful home. We've used airbnb loads of times and this home was perfect! Everything we needed for our stay a spotless well equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable beds etc. Getting into the house was easy and Aaron let us have a slightly later check out which was much appreciated. Great location for shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Everyone we met and spoke to in Callander were extremely friendly. I would have no hesitation in booking again. Only mishap we had was setting the dishwasher to the wrong wash cycle, we should have read the welcome book again.

Es hat uns sehr gefreut, in dieser Art willkommen geheißen zu werden. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Berge wurde schon beschrieben, und trifft es voll und ganz. Wir haben jeden Tag in deinem Haus genossen. Es ist geräumig, vollständig und mit Liebe eingerichtet, eine Unterkunft in die man ankommt, und nicht wieder abreisen will. Wir werden wiederkommen, wenn es uns nach Schottland verschlägt. Die Lage ist super für Ausflüge nach Glasgow, Perth, Dundee und natürlich Edinburgh. Nochmals vielen Dank!

Lovely clean home, very quiet and peaceful. We loved the hot tub too, so easy to fill and heat. The garden seating areas could do with a spring clean, lots of cobwebs, moss etc but still a lovely quiet place to enjoy. The village is small but has everything you need for a short stay. The pub has lovely food and very friendly staff and locals!

what a beautiful home! The house was so spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed making home made dinners in the spacious kitchen and being able to dine as a family at the lovely big table. This was also great for playing games together. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. We also made use of the firepit to roast marshmallows over the fire which was lovely! The hottub was also great after a fun filled day. Thanks again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, spacious cottage located in the stunning Perthshire countryside. It’s the perfect location for peaceful walks in the Scottish Highlands and a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The garden was a standout feature—large, spacious, and full of quirky charm, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. Jeanette and Guy were incredible hosts-super friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond. They went above and beyond with local recommendations, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and hope to return soon!

Excellent location, very close to the high street but still private and quiet. Very clean cottage, good amenities and the hut tub was very much appreciated after long walks! Pitlochry is a nice little town with lots of independent shops, good restaurants and pubs, and plenty of walks nearby. Overall, a lovely break!

What a fantastic find! We loved our trip and would have spent more time there. The surrounding and their views were impressive. Tracey and Jerome welcomed us with open arms. A trip of a lifetime.

I had a really wonderful stay at Ptarmigan's Nest! Jerome and Tracey have been excellent hosts-welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The place was immaculately clean, and all the little touches made it feel very cozy. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything I needed (I especially love the air fryer and will definitely be getting one for myself!) The local area is gorgeous, with plenty of beautiful walks and scenery nearby. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay! Thanks for being great hosts :)

What a gorgeous little flat this is! It had everything you could possibly need as Elizabeth really has thought of everything. Place was spotless and equipped with all the essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and felt right at home. Honestly, I would struggle to find something we didn’t like. I especially liked when we arrived the flat was warm cosy and inviting ❤️ I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a pleasant, homely base to stay in. We often visit Comrie as we love it and also because we have relatives here and so we look for different places to stay in. This is one we will definitely stay in again. A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

Jerome and Tracey have been great hosts, welcoming us and offering us flexibility on our arrival and departure times. Their place is a real haven of peace and tranquility, and they have paid a lot of care and attention to their sensitive conversation of a former coach house: turning into a real home-from-home and making it an ideal location for a relaxed family break. We enjoyed walks in the beautiful local scenery, visiting nearby amenities in Perth and Kinross, as well as time playing games together in the family room (which is well stocked with things to do on rainy days). This is an ideal location for anyone looking for a refreshing and quiet stay and we'd thoroughly recommend it.

Had an amazing weekend away. The cabin was lovely and in such a nice location. Hot tub was great!! Leigh was a great host always on the other end of the phone answering our questions. We will definitely be back! would highly recommend

A wonderfully designed space with beautiful surroundings and Laura was wonderful to deal with. Would 10/10 recommend staying here if looking to stay close to Dunkeld for exploration.

Loved this place so much - so peaceful and relaxing. An amazing the sped the end of the holiday in a quiet stunning luxurious space ! Could face happily stayed for a week ! And Alice was lovely and easy to communicate with !

Very welcoming and friendly staff. I visited the retreat with the family and the stay was very pleasant and exceeded our expectations. The place is very nice, quiet and relaxing. The villa is nicely furnished and clean. In addition, the security level is amazing as everything needs to be accessed by an access card. Jacuzzi bath is amazing and was much needed. Highly recommended accommodation. Nothing but good things to say about it.

Little gem of a place we booked just to get away from the busy life for a couple of nights with our wee dog , I would 100% live here permanently hint hint lol , definitely a quiet getaway with the pub across the road (now selling food) it’s a new thing so a bit unorganised meaning we ate elsewhere TIP the Chinese in Callander delivers to the cabin. Host was lovely and very responsive also it’s a 10 min drive to Callander only thing and just a suggestion as it’s dog friendly and child friendly the garden as big as it is isn’t secure could get out the back onto the gravel at the white houses definitely needs blocked off , also my small dog can get under the gates at the front even some chicken wire would stop that but no biggie , if the garden is secure I will definitely be a repeat customer. The TV didn’t work due to a line problem but that wasn’t a big deal we just connected to the phones hotspot but signal was low at times. Overall fab little gem of a place

Amazing location, such a beautiful setup, open but fenced garden, every detail has been thought through. Extremely grateful they let us bring our dogs, they absolutely loved the outdoor space and walking routes so local. My family had a lovely stay and will remember Hatton Lodge for a long time! Thank you so much for an awesome stay.
