I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

Beautiful house with loads of space, great big sociable kitchen which we made good use of as we were a big multi generation family group . We loved the lounge area with the open fire and views over the garden . The hot tub was welcomed by the younger branch of our group. Such a lovely area to stay in, the distillery near by and local walks. Further afield we loved exploring Aberfeldy and Kenmore . Stirling is in easy distance as well as castle Doune . It certainly was a memorable new year break for us and we will be returning to the area as there is so much more to explore .

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. From the time of our booking to our stay, this property took our words away from us. It is stunning my wife kids, and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Our host was super responsive and helpful. Great location outside of the city’s and very peaceful. The stars were amazing every night! Hope to be able to come back, maybe for a summer holiday in the future.

The cottage is in a beautiful location, with stunning views from all the windows - particularly the living area which has windows on 3 sides. Deborah's place is very well appointed - nicely decorated, furnished and equipped. After walking the surrounding hills it was a lovely place to come back to - relax in the superb hot tub, then put our feet up on the recliner sofa and watch a SKY movie. There's plenty of space, the bedrooms and bathrooms are a really good size. Deborah was very friendly and responsive, gave us some good recommendations of where to go in the local area too. We'd love to go back!

what a beautiful home! The house was so spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed making home made dinners in the spacious kitchen and being able to dine as a family at the lovely big table. This was also great for playing games together. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. We also made use of the firepit to roast marshmallows over the fire which was lovely! The hottub was also great after a fun filled day. Thanks again!

We recently stayed for the weekend as a group of 11. The house and area is beautiful and clean. Easy access to food and local shops. The facilities within the grounds are fantastic with a Sauna , Hot tub, BBQ and a separate large games room with a pool table and darts board all with plenty of seating. We used several of the local takeaways and they were all great. We also visited a local Archery and Shooting activities centre (only a 10minute drive) which waa great fun. The hosts were fantastic , we were greeted on arrival and shown around the facilities and the house. We were offered flexible check ins which is always handy. The kitchen is fitted with everything you would need and the bedrooms were clean and tidy and most had on suites which is very helpful I would highly recommend staying here with a large group of friends and family for different occasions.

Great place to stay with lots of space. Hot tub and sauna were great and the added cinema room was a nice extra. Location was good but shame there was not a path so we could walk down to Pitlochry. Ben Vrackie was only a few miles away so we had a hike up and the views did not disappoint. Laura & Jamie were friendly and helpful and showed us how everything worked on arrival.

Had an amazing weekend away. The cabin was lovely and in such a nice location. Hot tub was great!! Leigh was a great host always on the other end of the phone answering our questions. We will definitely be back! would highly recommend

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

We had everything we needed during our stay! What stood out for us was the location with beautiful views and lots places to walk and cycle. We felt very relaxed after using the hot tub. I would highly recommend staying at this place if you would like to visit the Queen Elizabeth forest.

A wonderfully designed space with beautiful surroundings and Laura was wonderful to deal with. Would 10/10 recommend staying here if looking to stay close to Dunkeld for exploration.

A fantastic place to stay with an amazing hot tub and views of the river and the horses over in the fields. Quiet and so comfortable it was like a home from home. It was exactly as described and in the pictures. We are definitely going to be going back again. Fantastic and we'd give it 100% Diane responded immediately to emails, a wonderful host.

Alice's place was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and left a note in the guest book saying as such. I took my girlfriend away to propose (she said yes). The space was stunning, absolutely beautiful and will hold a very special place in my memory. We really wanted to use the outside bath but didn't have the chance to, so we'll be coming back for a wash at some point.

Thank you for the most magical, peaceful, and relaxing stay. Never have we been to a place like this before—it’s truly one of a kind. It’s something we both will cherish, creating forever memories that will stay with us always. Alison was such a joy to talk to—her down-to-earth personality made us feel so welcome.
