Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Unfortunately, my stay was less than 24 hours as I was in the area for a friends event but the accommodation was good and had everything I needed. It was clean and well equipped. Sandra was a friendly and responsive host. The village is very pretty with a very inviting looking pub! I wish I could have stayed longer.

I have absolutely loved staying here, if you want a peaceful break with lovely hosts in a stunning space this it it. If you are heading this way this is the one to book. loved it, thank you xx

The Annex is a gorgeous place to stay and Emma has thought of many thoughtful touches to make the stay better, would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this little lodge. It was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, with beautiful bedding and towels. Perfect place for much needed relax and chill out. It was so quiet too!! Great bonus was having air conditioning upstairs and down! Angela was an excellent host, very welcoming and thoughtful, a lovely little gift when we arrived. I think I can say it was perfect!!

Fabulous 3 night stay as a family of 6. Cottage is bigger than it appears in the photos, plenty of room for all of us. Really well equipped, great shower, wonderful location, lots of charm. Children loved the cats that came to visit and looking out on the horses. Dermot and Anne were lovely hosts, really friendly and gave us useful local information along with breakfast items, tea coffee etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again. An absolute gem. Lovely faultless experience. Spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture. Big TV, well equipped kitchen. Loaf of bread, milk, butter and jams provided and even a box of After Eights. Sadly I had brought everything as I didn’t expect these to be provided but a lovely touch. Off street parking in a quiet sleepy village. Can highly recommend.

First of all what a lovely host, very welcoming and made us feel at home. The accommodation was spotless in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay including our dog. We found the booklet very handy showing local walks and places to eat. Highly recommended.

Loved the cottage, had everything we needed. Peaceful location, but near to local towns, sights and amenities. Nice walk for the dog in the morning and evening without leaving the premises. The enclosed courtyard made it feel really private. Really comfortable bed and nice linen.

A privilege to stay here. We loved Honey Cottage, it surpassed our expectations. It was pristine with high quality linens and furnishings creating a very homely and welcoming feel. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the main house is stunning creating an impression of grandure on entering the gates. The beautiful kitchen was ample in crockery and basic condiments were provided. The bedroom is one of sumptuous beauty and elegance, the mattress was divine comfort. The bathroom is large and spotlessly clean It houses a fitted washing machine and has ample worktop surface. The properties oil filled radiators were very efficient The only criticism we had was the weak wifi signal which made watching TV almost impossible. However, the choice of media was extensive. We would like to commend and sincerely thank Shahida for providing such a beautiful haven, we really enjoyed our stay...in fact, it was a hard to tear my mother away as she wanted to live in Honey Cottage!

A lovely, cosy little bolthole with friendly and welcoming owners. Beautiful garden that I enjoyed sitting in early in the morning to listen to the dawn chorus. Mollie is a lovely dog who I was glad to meet. I’m sure i’ll be back :)

Lovely space, really well thought out, comfortable and clean. Great location, just a short drive from central Cambridge. Fiona’s communication is fab; very quick to respond, friendly and happy to help. Really enjoyed our visit, would stay again, and recommend to anyone visiting Cambridge.

We’ve just returned from a couple of nights stay in Cambridge in Harriet’s beautiful apartment, which is stylishly decorated, well equipped, comfortable and homely. It was perfect for two. Within an easy and pleasant 20 mins walk into the city centre, both day or night for shopping and eating out. Harriet is a super host and left lots of helpful info, was easy to communicate with and provided clear instructions on everything (including how to operate the tv, much appreciated). I will surely re-book when we visit Cambridge again and highly recommend staying here.

The airbnb was really cosy, it was clean and had everything you would need. The host was friendly and was kind enough to let us stay an hour longer. I would recommend it 100%

We spent 6 nights in the annex and enjoyed our stay very much. Burton Overy is a beautiful village and the annex is located in a quiet and peaceful spot right on the edge of the village. Both my husband and I slept really well. The annex is well kitted out with a powerful shower, comfortable beds and lots of useful kitchen utensils. Tracey was a brilliant host - very responsive to messages and friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend the annex to anyone visiting the local area.

The bungalow was a real home from home and was well appointed and spotlessly clean. There was fresh bakery bread, eggs jam and milk and plenty of tea and coffee available all of which were much appreciated! Steve was very friendly and took the time to introduce himself and check that we had everything we needed for our stay. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend!

Jacqui's place was just what I needed and Jacqui herself was lovely. The house is set in lovely grounds with easy parking and upside down living. Jacqui is friendly and accomodating. The house itself is just ride for one or a couple, being cosy but spacious. Everything was as described, clean and tidy and the washing machine was welcome. There were lovely touches such as tea/coffee box and it was dressed for Christmas, which made it even more welcoming. I would definately go back.

Claire's place is beautiful - really thoughtfully designed, very well equipped kitchen and spacious bedroom & bathroom. The surroundings are wonderful, lovely walks to be had and the firepit was a great addition to one of our evenings. The wildlife is fantastic, we saw plenty of muntjac and birds of prey. Would highly recommend staying here and we'll definitely come back.
