I had an amazing time staying with Milan. Milan really makes sure you become a part of her family. They are warm and generous - happy to chat with you as much or as little as you want. I only stayed a few nights but feel I got to know them really well and hung out with them a lot. For a tourist, it’s a great way to experience Nepal and understand it better than you otherwise would. Milan provides two meals a day; one of these is a delicious dinner that is better than any Nepali food you can find in Pokhara’s restaurants! Milan’s homestay is located in the “real” Pokhara (i.e. where locals actually live), so it is ideal if you want to experience a true flavour of a Nepali city. Having said that, transport links to the more touristy lakeside are good: Milan’s family will always be happy to book you a taxi, you can take a direct bus, or download the excellent Patau app (a sort of Nepali Uber that offers taxis and cheaper scooters) if you have a Nepali SIM card. Milan has a washing machine which guests are free to use. This is ideal if you have a longish stay in Pokhara, or if you are going to/returning from a trek. Reliably hot showers are another bonus. The house itself and the room you will be staying are really nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend Milan’s homestay - I will never forget my time with her and hope to be back soon. KB's stay was exactly what we were looking for. The property is run by his parents - and they looked after us really well. From homely food to guiding us about nearby attractions, they went out of the way to help us out. The neighborhood is a very nice one - where you can engage in a game of football with the kids. Would definitely recommend KB's stay if you are planning a trip in and around Pokhara. :D

Buddhi and Wendy were WONDERFUL hosts! I immediately felt welcomed in their secluded little garden home (which is beautiful). I was able to enjoy Nepali meals with them, sit by the fire with them and just relax. It was just the vacation I needed. I loved our many conversations and felt like we had been long-time friends, even after just a couple days. They were also so helpful in recommending places around Pokhara, traveling and paragliding! I would highly recommend a stay with Buddhi and Wendy. You will love everything about their home and them!

Jagadish (Hotel Spring) is a perfect place for a stay in Pokhara. Well located, clean, well organized. Especially, the team was always prompt to help, provide answers, assist for bookings. To be recommanded !

The warmth, sophistication, love, quick response to all the needs and so much more that could not be put in words - the experience was truly beautiful..the host and his wife made sure that we felt comfortable and all our needs were taken care of ! This beautiful bnb stay made our Pokhara visit even better than expected! Mr.Laxman went an extra mile to see that our all local needs (including a change request for flight timings) were duly met! A special mention about Jason (host's son) : we have not met such a well behaved, loving and happy child before - he made our stay even more wonderful! We would love to recommend this stay to everyone visiting Pokhara!

Ein absolut traumhafter Ort zum Entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen! Die Aussicht ist toll und es gibt viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen. Am wichtigsten aber: Laxman und seine Familie sind unglaublich zuvorkommend, freundlich und wirklich interessiert. Ich habe dort ein zweites Zuhause gefunden.

Amazing place- everything is outstanding: the view, the hospitality, Fatima's food, the vibe... it is really one of a kind. What a luxury in nowdays world to be able to disconnect from frenzy, immerse in such devine nature and be surrounded by a pristine environment. Highly recommended to the adventurers and to anyone in search of peace. it is a life changing experience !

The family was great, helpful, and friendly. The location was ideal for pick up for excursions. The only downside, is the accommodation does not allow outside food or drink, assuming they want you to order from their kitchen (the food was excellent). If you are like me who likes take out/Take away to bring back to my room, sit on the balcony and eat, this is not the place. Otherwise, I highly recommend the stay. The view of the lake from my room was breathtaking and the family awesome. Thank you for having me.
