We could not have found a better place to stay while having renovations done at our own home. We packed up our gaggle of golden retrievers and one beagle and felt welcomed the moment we stepped into the house. There were treats for the dogs, blankets to put on the couch, verrrry comfortable twin-sized memory foam dog beds and endless amounts of toys for our pups to enjoy. There was also a treat station as well as lickit mats and doggie painting to keep these retrievers happy and busy. This house is so dog friendly. It’s a perfect balance of a beautiful home for the humans that is also perfect for the dogs. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked with necessities, such as paper towels, dish soap, dishes, pots and pans and that stove…. Beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and cozy. If the dogs hadn’t wanted to get up so early, we may have slept part of the day away. Having the availability to do laundry was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The place was amazing. It was what the pictures show plus much more. Me and 10 of my friends slept comfortably and had a great time. Many games, nice kitchen, clean rooms and bathrooms, and if you’re a winter lover, hope it snows because this yard is amazing. We went sledding like kids again it was great. Definitely recommend. Right near mt. Snow and town of Wilmington which has great food options. Overall, quite the memorable stay.

We stayed here for a short ski trip to Wachusett Mt, and it was great. It’s a cute cottage in a little lakefront neighborhood that is pleasant to walk and less than 10 minutes from the mountain. We had all the amenities we needed and were very comfortable. It was great for our group because the kids could hang out upstairs and watch tv and the adults stayed in the living room. We’d like to come back in the summer to enjoy the kayaks, fire pit, etc.

Great little spot in the woods. We jetted up to NH on short notice for a quick ski trip. My wife being from the area, we wanted to be close enough to the mountain but without any crowds. That’s exactly what we got. Check in was breeze, house is clean with plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked! We had a ton of snow on the ground which provided amazing views of the woods behind the property. The kids loved playing in the snow down the hill in the back yard. We hope to come back this summer to see this beautiful property in another season.

Staying at The Last Chair was an excellent experience. We spent the weekend there for my fiancé's 30th birthday and had an incredible time. The house was extremely clean and a perfect size for our group. We had a few issues with the weather and arrival, but Matthew was extremely helpful and had the issue solved within minutes. Would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Phil’s place was a great choice for the weekend! Plenty of room for the amount of people we had. Beautiful property right on the water. Spacious living room to hang out in. Everything was clean and tidy. There are also restaurants and things to do nearby! Would recommend.

Todd was so great to work with. Extremely responsive and helpful! His place was so cute, very clean and very well appointed. It has everything you could ever need and very organized. We rented it to ski at Wachusetts and it was great location( only 15 mins away). We would rent again. Thank you!

The cottage is a beautiful retreat on Cedar Lake, perfect for a little getaway! The place itself is cozy but with plenty of space for what we needed, and a gorgeous deck right on the water. Couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space! Quiet neighborhood and incredibly close to the restaurants and shops of Sturbridge. Amazing stay!
